The owner, a typical host, is very kind and in addition to the menu on the menu he also recommends dishes off the menu. Excellent welcome!
The cutting board with various cold cuts and cheeses was very good. The tagliata was quite tough but had an excellent flavor accompanied by spicy chicory sautéed in a pan. The first courses were also good. Good value for money and good house wine.

24/03/2025: Ci troviamo di tanto in tanto a Gualdo Tadino per un fine settimana fuori porta, e per dormire facciamo tappa fissa qui. Abbiamo prenotato per la prima volta in tre coppie e abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione della struttura, che si trova in pieno centro. Le camere sono pulite, comode e dotate di tutto l’essenziale. La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff sono impeccabili. Inoltre, la colazione è davvero deliziosa. Consigliatissimo per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante!
22/12/2024: Siamo stati per festeggiare un anniversario. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, dall'antipasto fino ai tozzetti con passito. Ottima esperienza da rifare sicuramente.

03/08/2024: I didn't have time to take pictures because they devoured everything.
The very nice guy at the place agreed to make me trays of margaritas and also with olives even though I arrived almost at closing time.
It was delicious, the kids rated the pizza as the best we ate in the Umbria area. Pizza at a very high level indeed

Guidu Pastry & Chocolate Experience

18/01/2025: After a walk in Val Sorda, my partner and I, passionate chocolate tasters, started looking for a place where we could drink a good hot chocolate. Also attracted by the "chocolate experience" sign, we entered specifically asking the owner if the hot chocolate was made by them and not through preparations.
He obviously responds positively and lets us sit.
Unfortunately, 2 cups of freshly stained milk arrived at the table with a powder resembling Nesquik in which the typical industrial chocolate chips for desserts had been added.
The product in question was clearly a far cry from a steaming, thick hot chocolate.
For two chocolates we spent €8.50,
while we were still seated, the music was turned off by the employees behind the counter, indicating that someone is in a hurry to close the place even though there are still customers at the table.
A really bad and disappointing experience especially in relation to the fact that the place passes itself off as a chocolate shop.
20/10/2024: I'm not saying anything.. You just have to come, sit and appreciate every delicacy of sweets and so on...

28/05/2025: And it's one of those bars that make a fuss over a straw or a tissue or you can even see their face that seems boring when a child comes in for an ice cream or some crisps the bar is nice but often they have that cheekiness that is not liked. I don't recommend it

02/03/2025: We went to this restaurant about four times, even bringing people, but we will never go again.
Every time we asked for a change in some food, or other, they always brought up some problem, even for a simple change of mozzarella due to intolerances.
They make the customer feel uncomfortable and in any case, the food is normal, nothing that can't be found in any other restaurant in the area.

19/02/2025: The owner is really very nice but you can't always make fun of it... We had two first courses which were both "edible". The environment is what it is.. The honest price.
