06/09/2025: Second time at this restaurant, and once again amazed by the menu we were served. Impeccable service and a wonderful place to spend a day in good company, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. A symbol and a guarantee for this corner of Umbria.

08/09/2025: An ideal solution for those who don't have much luggage, as it's in the historic center, and there's no parking and the entrance isn't from the street, but from an alley. The strong point, in my opinion, is the breakfast, well-presented and with plenty of variety. Given the limited number of rooms, eggs are cooked to order, and they're very good. A juicer, gluten-free products, and fresh fruit are also available. The downsides are the lack of a refrigerator in the room, and the lack of water, which even B&Bs usually provide in the room. I'd also suggest moving the TV from its current position in the yellow room; it sticks out too far in the tight space (see photo), and you risk bumping into it when moving around. The adjacent restaurant is convenient. Excellent price.

24/03/2025: Ci troviamo di tanto in tanto a Gualdo Tadino per un fine settimana fuori porta, e per dormire facciamo tappa fissa qui. Abbiamo prenotato per la prima volta in tre coppie e abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione della struttura, che si trova in pieno centro. Le camere sono pulite, comode e dotate di tutto l’essenziale. La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff sono impeccabili. Inoltre, la colazione è davvero deliziosa. Consigliatissimo per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante!

14/08/2025: The food was exceptional … very traditional and local dishes, prepared with pride by the family team. Service and atmosphere were also “familiar” hence with the little imperfections one would expect in a family setting 😏 I really enjoyed and highly recommend !!

07/09/2025: We went after reading positive reviews and also because the other establishments in the area have never disappointed us, we opted to try this place, one of the few we had never been to. We would have had an unlucky evening, I don't know, anyway, we sit down, they bring us the menu, after 40 minutes they apologize for the wait, I must say that the place wasn't completely full, we order a mixed fried food and 2 pizzas for 2, telling us that they would immediately put the fried food in the kitchen so we could eat, another 30 minutes pass and still nothing, my husband goes to ask in the dining room the reason for the delay, in short, our fried food ended up at a table of people who arrived half an hour after us, after 15 minutes our mixed fried food arrives and immediately after the pizzas which by then had been put to cook, so the fried food was good, the pizza I'm sorry but it seemed like those with the bases already prepared, without a crust and with a hard edge and not at all crumbly, I'm sorry for the moment it's the only place that has disappointed me in that area
17/08/2025: It's a really outdated place. We ate here once last year, and it wasn't busy. The food was fine then. This time, there was some kind of party going on. We were among the first in. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Then it turned out they only offered a standard antipasto and pizzas. Well, fine. The antipasto was fine. Then we ordered four pizzas, one with gorgonzola and one with four cheeses. After 15 minutes, it turned out they only had mozzarella. Okay. That's fine too. It didn't resemble what we ordered, but oh well. The most expensive pizza was 8 euros. The pizzas were truly inedible. Hard, greasy, and stale. We also ordered two beers, three soft drinks, and one water. We were charged 80 euros. The receipt showed four menus of the day. By our own calculation, we were overcharged by 20 euros, but because of our poor Italian, their poor English, and the crowd, I didn't bother. I didn't leave a single tip (which I practically never do). I personally really like the 70s look of this place, but we won't be going there again anyway.

29/08/2025: The menu is very varied, from appetizers to first and second courses, side dishes, pizzas, and desserts. They also offer local craft beers. I've been there several times, but I've only had pizza, vegetables, and sometimes desserts. The pizza is very good, thin but large compared to other pizzerias that barely cover the plate. Reasonable prices and usually fast service. I recommend it.

21/06/2025: We went to this bar while on holiday near this town. The place is nice because there are many tables outside and it is pleasant to have breakfast outside. Breakfast ok but the surprise was when we looked at the receipt because it seemed a bit high. In practice they made us pay the beauty of 50 cents per person for table service, only because the tables are on the other side of the road. In all the bars where we have been that had the tables in the exact same way we have never paid any extra.. moreover the additional cost is not indicated anywhere. It seemed really absurd to us. So if we return to Gualdo Tadino we will choose another bar
28/05/2025: And it's one of those bars that make a fuss over a straw or a tissue or you can even see their face that seems boring when a child comes in for an ice cream or some crisps the bar is nice but often they have that cheekiness that is not liked. I don't recommend it

pizzeria ristorante La Mangiatoia

13/01/2025: Prenotato tramite the fork per usufruire del 30% di sconto offerto, andiamo a mangiare in questo fantastico pub (?)
Premetto che siamo arrivati alle 20.15, prima di sederci al tavolo ho fatto subito presente alla cameriera la mia prenotazione.
Ci accompagna al tavolo,facciamo l'ordinazione, aspettiamo un tempo infinito per avere le nostre pizze ( locale praticamente vuoto) e alle 22.20 mi arriva una email di the fork con scritto che la mia prenotazione era stata rifiutata.
Vado a chiedere delucidazioni al titolare e lui incomincia tirar fuori scuse che non stavano ne in cielo ne in terra e alla fine la colpa è ricaduta sul programma di prenotazioni e che non era assolutamente lui a gestire la cosa,dichiarazione falsissima visto che ho avuto anche conferma degli operatori del programma stesso.
Alla fine per venirci incontro si è inventato uno sconto del 20%, cosa che non abbiamo potuto constatare visto che non ci ha lasciato lo scontrino ma facendo i calcoli con il menu online ovviamente neanche quello è stato applicato.
Comunque dopo aver fatto la segnalazione su the fork ci rimane solo da dire GRAZIE E A MAI PIÙ.
28/10/2024: Unica nota estremamente positiva è stata la signora che ci ha servito al tavolo, gentile e sorridente. Per il resto vale la pena andarci solamente con lo sconto "the fork" al 50%. Le pietanze senza infamia e senza lode, il vino della casa più vicino all'aceto che al vino (ed in Umbria questo è unico), infine alla richiesta del conto gli risultava uno sconto del 30% (come ho letto in altre recensioni) quindi occhio al conto. Insomma con quello che offre questa splendida regione sinceramente ho trovato di molto meglio ed a prezzi senza sconto estremamente più competitivi ma, in fondo ognuno gestisce la propria attività come meglio crede.
