21/05/2025: Our waiter was fantastic, but the meal was unsalvageable. We ordered two different pastas which were inedible due to heavy over salting. Initially we were told “this is how Italians make pasta in Italy” and they couldn’t make the pasta any less salty. I guess the hundreds of Italian restaurants we’ve eaten at, including Michelin and in Umbria, aren’t made by Italians then! Later as an apology, they served a fresh pasta, which did taste incredible and almost saved the meal. We then ordered the fillet steak and deer stew. Steak good, no problem. The deer stew: horribly over salted. At this point it seemed like it was deliberate, so we decided to leave quickly and skip dessert and coffee. They did try to make it better by reducing the bill but the terrible stew and lack of attention from the owners makes me question if they actually cared and instead just wanted rid of us.

19/05/2025: Locations quite welcoming even if too crowded. Impeccable service, prompt and courteous. Abundant appetizer, good but not excellent. Pici cacio e pepe excellent. White tagliatelle with pork and asparagus absolutely disappointing. Good beef morsels. Good quality Vermentino. Prices adequate for what was served

18/03/2025: Staying with Rebecca and Roberto has been a wonderful experience that we are looking forward to repeating. The accommodation is magnificent and located halfway to countless beautiful places. The attention is careful, endearing, warm and very enriching. They made us feel at home! Their breakfasts and dinners are spectacular, with local products of exquisite quality. They even alternated picking the olives with offering us the best. The conversations shared with Rebecca and Roberto spiced up the stay and made us feel as cared for as if we were friends. The work they do is fascinating and full of unique details that make this agriturismo a unique place to want to return to. Our stay there was most incredible! It's a shame we couldn't spend more days... We can't wait to return!

10/03/2025: We had an amazing experience at Rebeca and Roberto’s place. We stayed there for four nights and also had dinner. The food was amazing, and the prices were very fair. The location is perfect for exploring a more authentic part of Tuscany and the beautiful Umbria region. Our favorite spots were Montepulciano, Pienza, Spello, and San Filippo Terme. There were so many options to choose from, but we are happy we chose Agriturismo Il Favaio.

18/04/2025: Very good dinner. Saffron-based dishes are perfectly executed. The village is very pretty and the gardens of this hotel-restaurant are superb. The wine advice was perfect. I encourage you to stop by here during your stay.

05/05/2025: Trovato per caso ma mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Menù con ampia scelta compresa di pizzeria. Prezzi ottimi rispetto alle porzioni abbondanti. Pasta fatta in casa cucinata a regola d'arte. Velocità e cortesia del servizio. Ambiente luminoso e curato. Davvero stupefacente.

19/01/2025: 14 of us had dinner last night Super welcoming restaurant, the staff were really friendly, helpful and very nice, they were able to immediately put us at ease and there was no shortage of laughter between one course and another The food is really excellent, quality raw materials, from the meat sauce to the ragù and the Chianina rib, I think one of the best places to eat meat Personally I recommend it and I will definitely come back! Thank you very much!!❤️

Attentive and punctual service, great availability on the part of the structure in modifying some dishes to make them vegetarian. A beautiful surprise

26/04/2025: Let me start by saying that, unfortunately, I have the habit of going to a restaurant or a pizzeria to eat, not to sit at the table in a very noisy place, so without a doubt this place is not for me. For the second time I am in the area and I book: the first time we wait about 45 minutes for a pizza.... well it will be the wrong evening.... the second time, after more than an hour of waiting, I see tables being served that arrived at least 20 minutes after us..... first I inform the owner who doesn't even bother to apologize then I point this out to the waitress who with a face of.........conceit.......she tells me that she will now bring me what I ordered, she only has two hands and my pizza (which I specify must not have been in the oven for more than a minute as it was raw) was in the oven like that of the others......I eat it because frankly at 9.45 I would have eaten a shoe and when it comes time to pay the owner always says that we are his guests..... too bad I don't want to be a guest........at the restaurant I am a customer, I pay what I owe, and I believe that instead of such presumption an apology for an unacceptable service would have been more adequate. Surely with many places with better service and food I won't miss them and I, among many customer friends who enjoy faster service, won't miss them.....

07/03/2025: Ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo, personale gentile e cordiale, locale accogliente, con possibilità di mangiare all'aperto. Enoteca ben fornita di vini, birra, alcolici. Da tenere presente se sì viene in zona.
