22/12/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant over the weekend of the Immaculate Conception and I must say that we did very well. Fast service, friendly and knowledgeable waiters. Good quality food, personally I was amazed by the cacio e pepe (in Umbria) served in the cheese mold before plating. The restaurant has large rooms, even if you wouldn't think so, located on the second floor, with nice furnishings. Fair prices. Advise.

17/12/2024: Very good restaurant with homemade Italian dishes that are simply delicious. Small room or lunch in the pedestrian street, so quiet, no traffic. Very pleasant setting and perfect welcome, high level service. The truffle pasta and meats are worth trying, simply divine... Very good wines also to accompany your meal.

08/01/2025: Everything you don't expect. An evening with friends, a place you don't know and then.... you immediately feel at home. Roberto the host welcomes you with kindness and friendliness. The raw materials are of excellence with an excellent quality/price ratio. Their products have unique flavors, such as oil, honey and ready-made sauces that you can taste and purchase. To crown the evening the Fingertips Acoustic Duo, truly a top evening!

19/01/2025: 14 of us had dinner last night Super welcoming restaurant, the staff were really friendly, helpful and very nice, they were able to immediately put us at ease and there was no shortage of laughter between one course and another The food is really excellent, quality raw materials, from the meat sauce to the ragù and the Chianina rib, I think one of the best places to eat meat Personally I recommend it and I will definitely come back! 05/01/2025: I confirm the positive reviews written by others. We went to this restaurant recommended by locals. Apparently small place but with several rooms which allowed us to have lunch even without a reservation. Welcoming and smiling staff. Excellent food with local dishes such as pici all'aglione which I recommend. The real surprise was the bill where we paid only €15.00 for two starters. You don't even pay this amount for a sandwich anymore.

Ci sono stato ben tre volte, e ogni volta è stato un successo assoluto. La pulizia è impeccabile e l’atmosfera accogliente ti fa sentire subito a casa. La vera differenza, però, la fa la gestione familiare: il titolare in sala, sempre attento e disponibile, e sua moglie, la talentuosa chef, che con le sue mani crea piatti straordinari, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e tanta passione. 14/08/2024: Fantastic tavern. It's the second time we've been back, this time last night, the first time it opened. We were at the tables covered due to the rain which was intense from 7pm to 8pm but it cooled the evening, after days of great heat, and did not ruin the start of the dinners because it stopped at the right time. The young Contrada people - we had a very cute and precise boy and girl - come by to bring you the menu and the pen, you fill it out and give it back to them, and their service is precise and very fast. Yes, he eats very well, especially meat, roasted or stewed, but our vegetarian friend was able to have the starter without liver crostini, and then had the beans, a plentiful side dish. The roast quail is very good, as are the pinched snails and the wild boar with tarragon. Excellent conclusion with Cantucci + other biscuits and vin santo.

22/06/2024: On the occasion of the Infiorata on 22 and 23 June, the Taverna del Barbacane offered exhibitors at the fair a free picnic basket (takeaway) or lunch in the tavern (for those who could) a nice menu based on a first course: pici with tomato sauce , second course: plain rollé with salad, water and bread. Exquisite in service and meal. Thanks and good work. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

29/08/2024: We stopped in this nice bar by chance while sheltering from a heavy rain one afternoon in Città della Pieve. So we decided to have an aperitif, which was really good, especially the variations on the more classic Spritz. Very kind and friendly staff. Very large environment with internal room.
