07/01/2026: Besides a truly charming location right in the historic center of Città della Pieve, we had a truly wonderful meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was truly pleasant, and the food was delicious. The wine list was also excellent.

15/02/2026: Truly a gem. A small but welcoming place. It's cold outside, you walk in, and a 1970s stove welcomes you into a sweet warmth. The owner, a friendly and approachable guy, immediately puts you at ease. The bread, I discover, is baked fresh. The dough is made in-house with local flours. Exceptional. Various high-quality side dishes paired perfectly... I had the capocollo with Tuscan pecorino and sun-dried tomatoes, which tasted magical. Craft beers on tap. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food. Truly a place to remember.

11/03/2026: We came here for a weekend. If you're looking for tranquility, good food, good service, cleanliness, and kindness, this is the place for you. It had it all. There were three of us, a couple and a 7-month-old baby. We were assigned a very cute little apartment with all the necessary amenities, overlooking the garden. The owners, Rebecca and Roberto, were super helpful, kind, and extremely attentive to their guests, making you feel right at home. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

09/03/2026: I stayed at the property during the Strasimeno race, where I was present. I really deserved an A+ for the property, and a great location for the tranquility, silence, and beauty of the location, located in the open Umbrian countryside just minutes from Castiglione del Lago. Rebecca and Roberto are wonderful and extremely helpful, as is their assistant Elena. The service was excellent, both for the spotlessly clean room, equipped with everything from a mini fridge to a TV, and a splendid new bathroom. And what about the catering service provided as an agritourism business? Zero-kilometer products made from raw materials grown on the farm, from cured meats and cheeses made in-house, to jams to accompany the dishes, spelt pasta with an excellent ragù, and finally, the exquisite meat, as well as the fresh, seasonal vegetables grown and cultivated by Rebecca and Roberto. What else to say for the Strasimeno 2027 I already know where to go to stay again.😉😉😉

22/02/2026: The perfect place to feel pampered and enjoy a delicious dinner, thanks to Christian's personality and his cuisine, so deeply rooted in our region and his Lombard roots that make the dishes even more special. An honorable mention for the wines; you certainly won't be bored searching for the perfect bottle for your dinner. Recommended for anyone who loves feeling at home in a place that feels so much like home ❤️

19/01/2026: Very nice location. I've been there often and have always been very satisfied. The risotto and meat are excellent. I personally enjoyed the burrata with Cantabrian anchovies as an appetizer. Excellent.

15/02/2026: It's my must-try every time I come to Città della Pieve. I love their food so much that I always order the same things: bruschetta with porcini mushrooms (phenomenal), artichokes (sublime, fantastic flavor, the best I've ever had), and pici all'aglione, which amazes me every time. Today we also tried their ravioli with pistachio pesto. What can I say? There are no words to describe them!! Truly unique flavors. Their olive oil is something special. The desserts of the day are always a surprise, and today their brighelle won me over. The limoncello to finish, on the house, is that extra touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable. What can I say, everything is unique and special. The courtesy of the young woman and the owner make everything more engaging and peaceful. A restaurant that feels like home. I'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: A very quaint and homestyle restaurant that has fresh, local cuisine. Everything is made fresh and tastes typical Italian deliciousness. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Would come again for sure!

At lunchtime, they offer a full daily menu, including appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert, all at a moderate price and offering a good variety. But what really sets them apart is the open fireplace with embers lit daily: a real plus. Thanks to this constantly active grill, you can enjoy freshly cooked, tender, and flavorful meat, elevating the experience beyond typical "quick" lunches. The restaurant is simple yet elegant, with a welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, courteous, and quite quick, perfect for those pressed for time but still wanting a quality meal. Recommended for both a business lunch break and for those passing through the area looking for an authentic place with good food and a touch of warmth—literally!
