Friendly staff throughout. Charmingly decorated. Large, quiet rooms. Generous breakfast buffet with regional products. Parking available.
We felt very comfortable.

04/04/2026: The welcome was so friendly and helpful, very nice indeed. The spa area was superb, the food very good, and the bar inviting, especially the service. Sonja is a warm and welcoming person; we will definitely come back just because of her.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Goldener Löwe. Here's my summary:
Rooms: The rooms were perfectly fine and, above all, very clean. They were a bit small, but perfectly adequate for our stay.
Bathroom: The bathroom was a real highlight – modern and beautifully designed.
Cleanliness & Condition: The entire hotel makes a very good impression and is very well-maintained. You immediately feel comfortable.
Service: The staff were consistently very friendly and attentive.
Food: The food deserves special mention – it was truly excellent!
Conclusion: A great hotel with heart. If you can overlook the somewhat compact rooms, you'll find first-class service and outstanding cuisine. We'd gladly return!

19/09/2025: We spent a wonderful, relaxing week visiting castles, churches, Marienberg Abbey, and discovering the Venosta Valley, rich in apple orchards. We enjoyed every moment spent with Melania (the owner), savored the food, and, despite being the only Italians in the hotel on some days, we managed to communicate with the table next to us, learning a few German phrases. We'll take home a wonderful memory. Thank you 😘 to the staff!

25/09/2025: Good food with a wide variety of burgers, including vegan! Friendly staff and fast service. The interior isn't very large, but there's plenty of seating. Outdoor seating is protected from the sun or rain. There's also convenient parking in front.

29/01/2026: I went to Silandro in Val Venosta to visit the Christmas markets and the tallest church tower in Tyrol (about 100 meters).
I visited this historic bakery where I savored the authentic aromas of Alto Adige.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
31/12/2025: Excellent breakfast
Very good cappuccino, made with fresh milk, and good-quality croissants. I recommend the whole-wheat one with red berries. The bread is also very good.

24/04/2025: In diesem Restaurant haben wir zu Abend gegessen. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen. Wir haben zwar keine Pizza gegessen, aber die Speisen, die uns gebracht wurden, Leber auf venezianische Art, Carbonara und ein 4-Gänge-Menü, waren sehr gut zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Der Preis für Qualität und Quantität hätte etwas höher sein können, ich persönlich hätte nichts dagegen gehabt.
Werden wieder vorbei.... essen!

23/01/2025: Forse é una questione di carattere, forse non hanno bisogno di altri clienti oppure semplicemente non ci sanno fare. Siamo stati 20 min nel locale senza che nessuno ci degnasse di uno sguardo, la cameriera dopo aver fatto pagare una decina di persone ci è passata da parte senza lo sforzo di un sorriso o semplicemente dire … scusate arriveremo anche da voi.

31/08/2024: Lange nicht mehr so schön dekoriertes und geschmacklich einwandfreies Essen gehabt, das in so schönem Porzellan serviert wurde. Darüber hinaus war die Bedienung so freundlich. Ich würde allein wegen dieses Restaurants, dass sich in der Fußgängerzone befindet, nach Schlanders anreisen.
