04/08/2024: Hiked from Kurzras to Vernagt and discovered this beautiful hut. Great location, we had a delicious meal and enjoyed the magnificent view of the Vernagter reservoir. The food was very tasty, everything freshly prepared. Cheese dumplings, Kaiserschmarn, fried potatoes with ham and fried eggs, plus a mega blackcurrant spritzer. The prices are reasonable. The hut is very busy and you should have plenty of time; we waited almost an hour for the food.

15/08/2024: Super nice (old) Alm, with the best fried potatoes. Top service 👍. The Alm is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by high mountains just before the ice farms. A steady climb of 300 m in a sunny location is a little more demanding but doable.

09/08/2024: Very nice hotel in Val Senales, good starting point for hiking with a local bus stop. Clean rooms, great wellness facility, friendly staff and very good food. We liked it very much. We'd love to come back.
07/08/2024: short weekend in Val Senales, spacious room as well as the bathroom even if the bidet is missing, perhaps the bathroom with the sliding door would be much more functional.
Dinner with good choice on the menu, breakfast in the category standard.
Small flaw at the reception, staff not always present but always ready for every need.
Location along the road in winter a shuttle runs to the nearby ski facilities.
Recommended, wellness center not used but very nice, shame it has to be paid for by guests

I gave 3 stars because the venison tagliatelle was very good
18/07/2024: Wow, great panoramic view when the clouds weren't in our way. Ate an excellent Schöpsernes with spaetzle ❤️Very friendly service staff ☆inexpensive in relation to the valley. Recommendation.

Residence Texel Bar Pizzeria

29/07/2024: The place is enchanting, postcard-like and extremely quiet (the sports facilities and the nearby campsite do not disturb, the bar/pizzeria below was fortunately closed); parking under the structure, bus stop not very convenient. Courteous welcome but a little spartan by today's standards: apart from the towels, no courtesy equipment for the bathroom and in the kitchen only salt and some detergent, even a broom was missing. Large, rational and comfortable studio apartment, complete kitchen, panoramic terrace where you can possibly have breakfast and lunch. Uncomfortable and practically useless sofa, being positioned under the TV, which only has Rai 1, Rai 3, Rai News, TGCom and RAI Gulp of Italian channels. Comfortable bed, sufficiently spacious wardrobe, there is no shortage of coat hooks. Bathroom with large shower, but only a measly shelf as a support for toiletries; the photocell tap is very inconvenient.
The fresh bread/croissant delivery service in the morning is excellent and the possibility of traveling for free by bus throughout the valley with the guest card provided.

08/08/2024: Buonissimo tutto!! Vasta scelta di piatti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ottima la qualità. Bagni puliti. Posti interni ed esterni. Da maso corto dista 2 ore e mezzo a piedi seguendo il sentiero. Personale cortese e disponibile.

21/08/2023: Sono stato al Ristorante Goldenes Kreuz e ho potuto gustare le loro pizze. Devo dire che l'impasto è davvero eccezionale, leggero e ben lievitato. Le pizze erano ben condite e piene di sapore.
Tuttavia, c'è da notare che alcune erano un po' eccessive nella quantità di condimenti, tanto che potevano diventare un po' difficili da gestire. Ma, se ami le pizze ricche, potrebbe essere esattamente ciò che stai cercando!
Nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza piacevole, con un servizio cortese e un'atmosfera accogliente. Se vuoi provare delle pizze davvero saporite e sei pronto a fare una sfida culinaria, il Goldenes Kreuz è il posto giusto per te! 🍕🇮🇹
