19/10/2025: We stayed here for a motorcycle ride over the weekend. I have to say, it's a SUPER nice inn. The very friendly owner gave us a warm welcome and was super helpful throughout the weekend, whether it was during check-in, during the meal, or if we simply had a question. The food is highly recommended, and it's a great base for motorcycle riding. You'll definitely see me here again!
11/10/2025: A lovely inn with direct access to the road with a hairpin bend. Lots of motorcyclists. A very friendly and helpful waiter, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. You're rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley. Definitely worth a stop.

27/10/2025: A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in this family-run restaurant. We had pizza and trout fillet, both highly recommended. They also offer a small pizza. The pizza base was super-thin and crispy, the toppings evenly distributed, and the crust was just the right width.
And Lagrein. Everything is served at truly reasonable prices. One of our regulars.
Edit 2025: Still very good, definitely recommend it!
24/10/2025: 5 stars for the great ambiance, very friendly and pleasant service, and warm atmosphere, as well as the delicious food! By the way, we're regulars there, so our rating reflects many visits!

11/10/2025: A cozy restaurant with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. It's easily accessible from St. Martin, either by car or a short walk.
The chestnut mousse for dessert was my absolute highlight.

07/10/2025: With the complete reconstruction, this sensational vantage point finally offers adequate seating. There are plenty of tables and chairs on the ground floor inside and on the terrace in front. Plus, a fantastic rooftop terrace. The entire parking area is now completely paved. I think the prices are reasonable. I can understand the solution for the restroom from the operator's perspective. However, guests should be informed of this in advance. It's certainly annoying when you're holding a €1 voucher and have already paid the bill.
04/10/2025: We had one of the best cakes ever here, for €4.90. Absolutely a fair price.

30/09/2025: A friendly, family-run hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young man. However, he didn't really tell us anything about the hotel (e.g., where to find things). Check-in was therefore fairly quick. The rooms are well-equipped, with a renovated bathroom and a comfortable bed. The wellness area is very good, but there are a few limited spaces in the relaxation areas. The food is good, but we had the same cake in the afternoon three days a week, and none of them were that good. However, I felt that something was missing from all the above points to give it 5 stars for the price. We booked it through a different website and paid €70 per person per night for one night.
25/09/2025: We spent a wonderful weekend there as a couple and would love to go back! :)
The food was delicious, our room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the spa area had a nice, modern decor.
Two tips:
- We would have liked the towels to be larger.
- The water temperature in the pool could be a bit higher.

Man muss einfach dort Essen.

31/10/2024: Wir waren mittags da, und es gab nur vier Gerichte zur Auswahl: Knödeltris, Knödelsuppe, Schnitzel und Marende, alles ohne Speisekarte, nur vom Seniorchef vorgelesen. Die Knödel waren gut, frisch gekocht, aber eine Suppe mit 2 Knödeln (Käse und Speck) für 10,50 € ist schon ziemlich teuer wie auch der Hauswein mit 18 €. Vier Tische waren für eine größere Gruppe eingedeckt, die zum Törggelen da waren und Schlachtplatten vorbestellt hatten. Das war aber laut Juniorchef alles abgezählt und wir konnten es nicht bestellen, nicht einmal das Sauerkraut. So unflexibel ist man selten in Südtirol - aber vielleicht ist man auf dem Mörrerhof mehr auf größere Gruppen von den umliegenden Hotels eingestellt als auf einzelne Wanderer. Schön jedenfalls ist der Ausblick von der Terrasse, der Service ist freundlich….

Jaufenalm - Malga Giovo

22/07/2024: Sehr schöne Alm am Jaufenpass etwas abseits der Tourismus Almen und trotzdem gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok.
Von der Terrasse der Alm hat man einen sehr schönen Ausblick.
