10/08/2025: Always very beautiful and relaxing. We've been there five times now, and there's absolutely nothing to complain about. A lot has been renovated. The staff is very attentive and takes wonderful care of your physical well-being. You are truly pampered. Thank you again for the wonderful time.

19/08/2025: A very welcoming bistro, bakery, and pastry shop, filled with flowers and small artwork. A little gem is the XL cappuccino served in "grandmother's" porcelain cups.
02/08/2025: I happened to be there because I was feeling a bit hungry in the morning. It was a very positive experience, because the breakfast was amazing. The taste was amazing – but above all, it was a feast for the eyes! The value for money was definitely right.

01/08/2025: One of the nicest accommodations I've ever stayed in! Everything is immaculately maintained, clean, and the view from the balcony is truly breathtaking. Everyone is so friendly, and the food is excellent, too. If there were more stars, I would give it even more :-) We will be back!

Dishes are presented like works of art; great care has been put into the food, and it tastes exquisite! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

03/09/2025: I liked the modern, bright ambiance, the friendly service, and the quality of the coffee and food. Prices are reasonable, but you're paying a bit for the view.
The restroom issue is rather suboptimal. The service staff should proactively inform guests about the procedure when taking their orders.
Overall, though, it's highly recommended.
27/08/2025: Unfortunately, the Edelweiss Hut has lost its original charm.
The cake is truly delicious, and the cappuccino is decent. But for me, the new Edelweiss Hut has absolutely nothing to do with its former coziness. Concrete, glass, and steel dominate – cold, impersonal, and completely out of place in this beautiful mountain region. Anyone looking for tradition and alpine flair will be disappointed. For me, this style doesn't suit the Jaufen Pass at all.

They pretended not to understand either Italian or English!
This effectively forced me to leave without lunch!!
The Jaufenalm, two hairpin bends below, is much better!
Never again!!!

31/10/2024: Wir waren mittags da, und es gab nur vier Gerichte zur Auswahl: Knödeltris, Knödelsuppe, Schnitzel und Marende, alles ohne Speisekarte, nur vom Seniorchef vorgelesen. Die Knödel waren gut, frisch gekocht, aber eine Suppe mit 2 Knödeln (Käse und Speck) für 10,50 € ist schon ziemlich teuer wie auch der Hauswein mit 18 €. Vier Tische waren für eine größere Gruppe eingedeckt, die zum Törggelen da waren und Schlachtplatten vorbestellt hatten. Das war aber laut Juniorchef alles abgezählt und wir konnten es nicht bestellen, nicht einmal das Sauerkraut. So unflexibel ist man selten in Südtirol - aber vielleicht ist man auf dem Mörrerhof mehr auf größere Gruppen von den umliegenden Hotels eingestellt als auf einzelne Wanderer. Schön jedenfalls ist der Ausblick von der Terrasse, der Service ist freundlich….

Jaufenalm - Malga Giovo

22/07/2024: Sehr schöne Alm am Jaufenpass etwas abseits der Tourismus Almen und trotzdem gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok.
Von der Terrasse der Alm hat man einen sehr schönen Ausblick.
