11/05/2025: We only stayed one night but the experience was very nice. Very helpful service, perfect breakfast. We didn't try the pool. In addition, as a bonus, wonderful views of the valley. Definitely recommend!

18/10/2024: Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere in the family-run restaurant. We had pizza and trout fillet, both highly recommended. Pizza is also available in “small”. The pizza base is super thin and crispy, the toppings are evenly distributed, the edge is just the right width.
Plus Lagrein. Everything is available at really moderate prices. One of our regular restaurants.

01/05/2025: A real insider tip on the Jaufenpass!
On our journey over the Jaufen Pass we made a spontaneous stop at the Hotel-Restaurant Unterer Obereggerhof in Walten - and were more than positively surprised.
Our snack was simply excellent – fresh, homemade and prepared with a lot of dedication. You can taste that almost everything is produced here in-house. The view of the valley is breathtaking and gives the meal a very special backdrop.
Particularly worth mentioning is the house's love of animals and child-friendliness - whether two-legged or four-legged, everyone is welcome here. A place that not only saturates, but inspires.

21/03/2025: My motorcycle season kicked off on February 22, 2025! And like every year, I started with a tour to the Jaufen Pass! The roads were partly dry and well-ridable. The new section, which they repaved last year, already shows some severe damage (potholes, cracks). Nevertheless, it was another beautiful tour. Arriving at the Jaufen Pass, I couldn't believe my eyes – where is the Edelweiss Hut?!?!? But see for yourself...
17/12/2024: Fantastic view that you have to see. Wonderful route with a moped, what more could you want when the weather is nice? :)

Very good cuisine, friendly staff throughout, child-friendly with a play area. Great menu (even apart from the delicious Tyrolean cuisine).
An absolute enrichment for the upper Passeier Valley!

31/10/2024: Wir waren mittags da, und es gab nur vier Gerichte zur Auswahl: Knödeltris, Knödelsuppe, Schnitzel und Marende, alles ohne Speisekarte, nur vom Seniorchef vorgelesen. Die Knödel waren gut, frisch gekocht, aber eine Suppe mit 2 Knödeln (Käse und Speck) für 10,50 € ist schon ziemlich teuer wie auch der Hauswein mit 18 €. Vier Tische waren für eine größere Gruppe eingedeckt, die zum Törggelen da waren und Schlachtplatten vorbestellt hatten. Das war aber laut Juniorchef alles abgezählt und wir konnten es nicht bestellen, nicht einmal das Sauerkraut. So unflexibel ist man selten in Südtirol - aber vielleicht ist man auf dem Mörrerhof mehr auf größere Gruppen von den umliegenden Hotels eingestellt als auf einzelne Wanderer. Schön jedenfalls ist der Ausblick von der Terrasse, der Service ist freundlich….

22/07/2024: Sehr schöne Alm am Jaufenpass etwas abseits der Tourismus Almen und trotzdem gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok.
Von der Terrasse der Alm hat man einen sehr schönen Ausblick.
