30/10/2025: A charming refreshment point inside Salorno Castle, where you can have breakfast or lunch. The owners are kind and helpful, and you can also visit the remains of the castle for free. Recommended (we ate a delicious, generous slice of whole-wheat cake with homemade blueberry jam, and the coffee was just so-so). I forgot to mention that to reach the castle, you have to walk along a wide but steep path for about 20-30 meters, depending on your pace.
26/10/2025: Stunning medieval castle nestled on a rocky outcrop above the village of Salorno. The setting is beautiful, meticulously designed and one-of-a-kind. Excellent service and very friendly, welcoming staff were available to explain the menu in detail. We spent a delightful Sunday in a setting you don't experience every day. We can't wait to return for the Knights' Dinner!

11/10/2025: The place was open in broad daylight, they let us in and then told us the kitchen was closed, that they'd decided to just close. 3 PM... closing time indicated 9 PM

02/10/2025: We were out on our bikes and looked at this beautiful, clean area and had a great time....next time we'll plan to eat, freshly caught trout...it couldn't be better

31/10/2025: The restaurant with guest rooms isn't located on the main road, but rather high up on the edge of the mountains, but it's well worth the trip! Extremely delicious, authentic cuisine made with regional products. Very hospitable and communicative hostesses run the family business. A campsite and a pitch for motorhomes under 3.5t are available on request, including shower/toilet access and breakfast on site.

10/10/2025: Rustic yet welcoming, the interior decor is inviting. The outdoor terrace offers a panoramic view of the entire valley. The traditional dishes are plentiful and of excellent quality. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are average, and the portions will satisfy even the most discerning palates.
Definitely worth a try.

Fantastic view, friendly hosts, and down-to-earth, local, and delicious food.
