13/05/2026: A truly special place! Finding this dreamy hotel was pure chance. We had only intended to have a coffee on the beautiful terrace with its stunning views. But as soon as we entered, we were captivated by the unique atmosphere (accompanied by modern lounge music). Warmly greeted by the owner, we took a seat. The young waiter, Viktor, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and our coffee was a delight. We spontaneously extended our holiday by two days and stayed at the Gloriette Guesthouse. That was a year ago. Now we're back for the second time and are just as thrilled as the first. The rooms are stylish and tastefully decorated. Nothing is lacking, and the view from the room and balcony is breathtaking. We highly recommend booking half-board, as the cuisine is, in our opinion, Michelin-star quality. Breakfast, as they say, is the most important meal of the day. The young management of this family-run business clearly thought so too, because it's a dream of the highest quality, combined with exceptionally warm service from young, local staff! The thoroughly successful concept is rounded off by a rooftop wellness area with a sauna, relaxation area, and the highlight: a rooftop pool with a unique panoramic mountain view! The South Tyrol Guest Pass, included in the price, offers free use of mountain lifts, public transport, admission to attractions, and much more. In short: This hotel completely won us over and deserves 5/5 stars in every respect!

11/05/2026: Update 2026, Like a vacation with good friends. We came for a week in May and immediately felt warmly welcomed and cared for. A week full of fun (thank you to Christoph for the wonderful wine tasting with exquisite wines) and wellbeing (special thanks to Sarah and Julia). Julika and Andi have a truly special team who anticipate their guests' every need. Add to that the hotel's exclusive location and our excitement about the planned expansion, including the outdoor pool. Until next time. ❤️ What can I say? We stayed at this beautiful hotel a year ago and spent seven wonderful nights and days. The entire hotel exudes incredible coziness; we felt at home from the very first moment. The cuisine is indescribably good, so it's no wonder that even though we're vacationing in Merano this year, we have to return here to have lunch in this wonderful hotel. 16/08/2026: Wide selection with good and plentiful food... BUT exorbitantly high prices; the water, described as spring water (km 0?), costs DOUBLE the price of gasoline.

11/05/2026: One of our favorite campsites on our tour of Italy. Great views, excellent service and sanitary facilities at the hotel, delicious food in the restaurant, and a fantastic area. The cable car and gondola can be used free of charge with the included pass. Also well-suited for children.

15/08/2026: A lovely stop at the Earth Pyramids A really nice little café, perfect for a quick break on the way to or from the Earth Pyramids. You can even see them from the terrace – a truly beautiful view! 🌿 The service is quick and friendly. It's best to go directly to the counter to order. There's a daily selection of cakes, coffee, and other drinks, as well as some light meals. Breakfast is also available if you order in advance. The prices are fair, and there's a restroom on site. The so-called "apple strudel" was more of an apple pie than a classic strudel, in my opinion. It still tasted good, though. 😊 Overall, a very pleasant place for a quick coffee, cake, or light lunch with a lovely view. Definitely recommended if you're already visiting the Earth Pyramids!

13/07/2026: We spent a wonderful week in this fantastic holiday apartment. The apartment is very tastefully and beautifully furnished. Everything is modern, clean, and tidy. The view from the apartment is simply breathtaking! We felt very comfortable. The Oberrauch family is incredibly kind and very helpful. We would love to come back again!

28/06/2026: We've been going to the Hofschank for years. In our opinion, they have the best dumpling trio on the Ritten plateau. Superb farmer's hash! And very friendly hosts. 😃

19/07/2026: We stayed at this very comfortable and cozy hotel for the second time in July, spending a week there. Our return visit was once again a thoroughly pleasant and welcoming experience. The family who owns the hotel personally attends to their guests with great warmth and dedication. You can feel the passion and commitment that goes into running the hotel. We were particularly impressed once again by the excellent cuisine. The dishes are regional and down-to-earth, yet refined and of a very high standard in terms of taste. Our room was very spacious, furnished to a high standard in a modern style, and featured a large rooftop terrace with its own sun lounger. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking. A particular highlight each evening was the mesmerizing play of colors as the sun set on the Dolomite peaks – an unforgettable sight. One minor point of criticism is the relatively open-plan bathroom, which could offer a bit more privacy. The quiet location on the edge of town is ideal for hikes starting directly from the hotel. The Ritten Railway is also just a few minutes' walk away. We found the free use of all public transport with the guest card particularly convenient, making it easy and sustainable to explore the surrounding area. For us, the hotel on the hillside is a place to feel at home. We will definitely be back and gladly give it 5 out of 5 stars.

16/07/2026: Family-run with incredibly friendly staff. Congratulations on your 4th star! Breakfast is plentiful with something for everyone. Dinner was always delicious and of a high standard. The rooms are very clean and the mountain views are phenomenal. Dogs are welcome.

05/05/2026: We spent five days at the beautiful Parkhotel Holzner. It couldn't have been better. The view is unbeatable. Bolzano is just 15 minutes away. Hiking and biking trails start right at the hotel's doorstep. We had a wonderful suite with access to the garden. The staff and the food were first-class. We will definitely be back.

04/04/2026: We truly loved our stay at the Holzner. Every facet was thought through and executed exceptionally: the kids program, the adult activities ranging from the spa to wine tastings, the food and drinks in the dining room, bar, and 1908, the hotel suite, the hotel grounds and architecture, the hospitality of the staff, and everything else. We loved going on the family hike with Monika Holzner and the kids staff while the wine tasting with the sommeliers and Wolfgang Holzner was a wonderful evening. The attached restaurant 1908 had such creative and delicious dishes with exceptional wine pairings. Our kids loved doing arts and crafts, making pizza, dancing, and doing all sorts of other activities, as well as hanging out in the well designed indoor/outdoor heated pool, playgrounds, and indoor play areas. We felt welcomed like family and everything from the pre arrival preparations to the parting bottle of apple juice for our train ride was just so thoughtful. When our kids (5 and 3) struggled a bit with the more extended and later dinners than in the U.S., the dinner staff listened to us and adapted so we could all better enjoy the amazing food that was served there. Three course dinners each night plus a generous breakfast buffet- with each item prepared impeccably for both kids and adults. All of this in such a beautiful and scenic spot on Ritten mountain overlooking the dolomites. The Holzner exceeded our high expectations and we were honestly sad to leave. We are already considering when we might get to visit again. Do yourself a favor and book your next holiday at the Holzner.

Great improvement. _____ A wonderful place: The two brothers offer incredibly warm hospitality. Great ambiance and very, very good food with a fantastic variety of flavors. The chef also has excellent, Michelin-starred cooking stations, so he knows what he's doing. The dishes are also a feast for the eyes. Our small special requests (vegetarian menu, a little extra sauce) were handled perfectly. We'll be back. A truly harmonious experience. In South Tyrol, one of the best restaurants for fine dining in a modern setting.

05/07/2026: Very nice view on the mountains. We went there for lunch and arrived before noon so there were tables available. The Pork Escalope was spot on , very tender and tasty. The plates we have seen on other tables also looked extremly good. The service extremly friendly and efficent. Aside from the printed menu they had another menu of the day with another 10- 15 dishes , so plenty of choice. There is also a small playground for kids.

29/04/2026: A beautiful place with fantastic food. What I especially appreciate is that the owners, Luis and Elisabeth, try to source their products from the region or even from the Ritten plateau. I love taking guests to Kematen for meals. Highly recommended! 😋😋😋

29/08/2026: We really had a fantastic stay at Haidgerberhof and can recommend it to everyone. Stephanie and her family are incredibly hospitable and so sweet! This was also true for our son; there were lots of toys and he really enjoyed the swing and slide. Our apartment was very cozy and spotless. The shared terrace is very atmospheric, and the view is truly stunning. There is a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere among the guests. It is small-scale and there is a lot of personal attention. We dined in their restaurant several times and the food was so delicious. Maria is a very good cook. The breakfast box was also delicious. They use many fresh products from their own garden and animals (jam, herbs, fresh juice, eggs) and you can really taste it. In short: we had a fantastic time and are going to miss this lovely holiday spot!

03/08/2026: It was our first stop on a 10 days roadtrip up in the mountains.It was such a beautiful surprise that make us wonder if we can stay a bit more and postpone a few spots or even cancel... Great spot, kind people, also great cuisine. Sunday morning all the local people come for a coffee at this place, so it popular in locals too. That says a lot. Thank you guys!

04/08/2026: Super nice place to eat without spending too much. Super good dishes, especially the Strauben (their specialty), wonderful. Excellent dumplings. The host is super kind and helpful. A really nice place, I'll definitely return.

31/07/2026: Beautiful farm in the center of a valley that is difficult to reach on foot but you eat well with typical Tyrolean cuisine. I recommend it.

Room: very spacious and comfortably furnished, bathroom is large and functional Service: 10/10, wonderful owners, excellent staff, helpful with questions about activities, restaurant reservations upon request, very dog-friendly (our dog even got dog treats) Location: idyllic location with fantastic views and good access to the cable car, narrow-gauge railway, and hiking trails (also for other activities) Conclusion: we'll be back in the fall - a huge thank you to the family
