Hotel am Hang In Renon

We stayed at this very comfortable and cozy hotel for the second time in July, spending a week there. Our return visit was once again a thoroughly pleasant and welcoming experience. The family who owns the hotel personally attends to their guests with great warmth and dedication. You can feel the passion and commitment that goes into running the hotel. We were particularly impressed once again by the excellent cuisine. The dishes are regional and down-to-earth, yet refined and of a very high standard in terms of taste. Our room was very spacious, furnished to a high standard in a modern style, and featured a large rooftop terrace with its own sun lounger. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking. A particular highlight each evening was the mesmerizing play of colors as the sun set on the Dolomite peaks – an unforgettable sight. One minor point of criticism is the relatively open-plan bathroom, which could offer a bit more privacy. The quiet location on the edge of town is ideal for hikes starting directly from the hotel. The Ritten Railway is also just a few minutes' walk away. We found the free use of all public transport with the guest card particularly convenient, making it easy and sustainable to explore the surrounding area. For us, the hotel on the hillside is a place to feel at home. We will definitely be back and gladly give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Family-run with incredibly friendly staff. Congratulations on your 4th star! Breakfast is plentiful with something for everyone. Dinner was always delicious and of a high standard. The rooms are very clean and the mountain views are phenomenal. Dogs are welcome.

We’ve had a lovely stay at Hotel am Hang. The views are amazing, the region is perfect for hikes, biking or relaxation. With and without kids. But above all, the hospitality and the generosity of the Maier family is outstanding. We would really recommend this stay.

Hotel in a stunning location with a breathtaking view, a very generous and varied breakfast, a top-quality dinner, very friendly staff, and above all, the owner is extremely helpful with any needs...very clean and welcoming rooms...top-notch spa and pool!!! Highly recommended!

It was spotlessly clean, cozy, and exuded a special feel-good atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. Special praise is also due to the outstanding cuisine. The food was a delight every day – fresh, varied, and prepared with great care. The hostess's homemade cakes and cookies were an absolute highlight and simply delicious. You can feel the passion and warmth of the hosts in every part of the hotel.
