19/09/2025: We've now eaten at the Winklerhof twice. On our first visit, we were absolutely thrilled: the roast beef was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were the best we've ever eaten, and the carpaccio was also outstanding. Only the soup wasn't quite to my taste, but overall it was a real highlight. We returned with these impressions on the last evening of our stay – unfortunately, this time with mixed results. The most expensive red wine on the menu was served significantly too cold, the roast beef was only lukewarm, and the roast potatoes had little to do with "roasty." The seat by the doorway to the kitchen was also less than comfortable, despite having reserved in advance. That was a shame, as we had planned the evening with high expectations as a pleasant end to the evening and left somewhat disappointed. We would like to emphasize, however, that the manager took our criticism seriously and waived the main course for us. A snarky "I'll excuse you if you didn't enjoy it" in response to a very constructive criticism didn't make up for the evening. We understand the stress and criticism. But we did talk about the direct comparison. And mentioned our unfulfilled expectations. Please note: We still paid €40 for the main course in cash, as we felt this gesture was very fair and it was important to us to properly appreciate the food. Overall, we're left with a mixed impression: one a spectacular experience, the other rather mediocre. We hope that next time it will reach the quality of the first evening, because the potential is undoubtedly there, as the junior manager also conveyed to us. We still extend our sincere thanks...but unfortunately, we can't award 5 stars for such different evenings! --

16/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The food was absolutely delicious. Kid-friendly, everything was perfect. We recommend making a reservation for the evening. We'll definitely be back.

01/09/2025: On the way to the waterfall, we had to stop at this inn. The drinks and the ice cream, which we hadn't tried before, were really, really good! The service was very friendly, and the prices were more than fair. Highly recommended before or after seeing the waterfall.

22/08/2025: Very nice, good food, but unfortunately quite popular with tourists...so it gets quite crowded on nice days. I recommend taking the Texelbahn cable car and from there over the waterfall to the restaurant. A leisurely hike (some parts are quite steep downhill - good shoes help), easy to do with children, and very varied.

04/10/2025: As the stars already reveal, our spontaneous visit was absolutely worth it! The owner is simply a great guy! Charismatic, personable, and takes excellent care of his customers! We highly recommend it! And the food is delicious, too!

01/10/2025: Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. I was overcharged for one drink, my wife was brought a large drink without asking, and not offered a 0.2 liter as advertised. Both dishes were completely lacking salt, and last but not least, the Leberkäse (meatloaf) was charged more than indicated on the menu. Unfortunately, that was the last time for us.

23/09/2025: Great restaurant with excellent food. The owner is a meat sommelier, and it really shows. I had one of my best burgers yet. The pizzas are also excellent. Definitely my first, but not my last, visit there!

05/10/2025: We visited the restaurant with our family – four adults and two young children (1.5 and 3.5 years old). We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the children were immediately given toys, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food very much – although the portions could have been a bit larger for us men. All in all, a very pleasant visit! We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant.

03/10/2025: The staff is extremely friendly every time I visit. I even got an ice pack to cool my injured foot. The food is excellent. Fresh, delicious, and great combinations of ingredients.

The complex is very well-maintained 🌿, idyllic 🌸, yet centrally located 🗺️. Pleasantly quiet, perfect for relaxing 😌👌. We're really enjoying our time here and looking forward to the last few nights! 🌞🌙

07/09/2025: Very tasty food. Located next to the main road, but with a safe distance. Despite everything, it's quiet and highly recommended. High standards, but worth every euro.

20/09/2025: This was our first time vacationing in Partschins. We were guests at the "Mair am Ort living." The food at Buss'l & more was fantastic. Everything was meticulously planned down to the smallest detail, and we felt truly at home. The service was truly friendly and very accommodating. 04/10/2025: Due to an unavoidable traffic jam on the SS38 state road, we interrupted our journey and spontaneously stopped for lunch at the pizzeria. Naturally, other travelers had the same idea. As a result, the restaurant became crowded. No one was turned away, and the guests present were politely asked to sit together. Despite the unexpectedly heavy workload, the service was friendly and very quick. The food was delicious and apparently homemade on-site. Highly recommended for a quick stop along the way!

04/10/2025: We enjoyed three very relaxing days at the Hotel Niedermair. The views of the region are magnificent. The service is excellent in all areas, and the kitchen conjures up amazing delicacies. The wonderful massages from Elisbeth deserve special mention. Anyone who wants to switch off from everyday life and be pampered will be in good hands at the Niedermair.

26/09/2025: We spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Niedermair in Partschins. My mother and I were the three of us, and we felt very comfortable from the very beginning. The Kuen family takes great care of their guests – even special requests were always met with the utmost accommodatingness. Their recommendations for hikes, shopping trips, and excursions in the surrounding area were also particularly valuable. The cuisine is excellent, and the entire service team is extremely friendly and accommodating. Another real highlight was the spacious spa area with various saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, and relaxing treatments. Overall, a stay that impressed us in every respect – for us, it's an absolute top recommendation in the region!

26/09/2025: Even if you don't think so at first glance, you can get really delicious pizza here! It's a sports club at a large sports complex. There's a campsite directly across the street. We ended up here while looking for gluten-free pizza and were absolutely delighted.
