24/01/2026: Our stay at Romantik Hotel Santer was absolutely wonderful! 🌟 From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly staff who welcomed us with genuine hospitality — and many of them speak multiple languages, including Russian, which made communication effortless. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better — right beside the Nordic Arena, making it an ideal base for cross-country skiing. You can literally step out the door and onto the trails. It’s also perfect for hiking and trail running in the surrounding Dolomites, with beautiful mountain routes starting nearby. One of the standout features of the hotel for us was the well-designed ski storage and preparation rooms — super convenient after long days on the snow. The spa and wellness area is absolutely exceptional! With a variety of saunas, relaxation zones, an indoor pool, and two heated outdoor pools, this place is every athlete’s dream for post-training recovery. And speaking of experiences — the food here is truly remarkable! We spent a week at the hotel, and every meal was different, creative, and incredibly delicious. The presentation was so refined that even high-end restaurants would be proud. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Every detail — from the professional service and perfect location to the spa and cuisine — made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Romantik Hotel Santer, and if we get the chance, we’ll definitely stay here again! ✨⛷️🏔️

03/01/2026: We spent 9 days over Christmas and New Year's Eve. The room and spa were excellent. The food wasn't up to par with the place (the New Year's Eve dinner was mediocre). It wouldn't take much to improve.

04/01/2026: Excellent location in the city center, excellent food and reasonable prices, there isn't much seating inside but it's definitely worth it

03/01/2026: I had dinner here while on vacation in early January. It was an excellent dinner, the atmosphere is very familiar and welcoming, the owners are very friendly, and they offered us an exceptional dish off the menu: roast pork shoulder, cooked at a low temperature for 10 hours, a delight. The tagliatelle with game sauce was delicious, and the local cheese platter was very good. The price was very fair! I recommend it if you're passing through Dobbiaco.

22/12/2025: A truly family-run hotel with a heart for its guests, clean, with an excellent spa, a fantastic restaurant and food, and an incredible breakfast. I definitely consider this hotel one of my favorite places to stay.

16/10/2025: A beautifully located restaurant with a fantastic view. We were there just before the end of the season, so a lot of it was sold out. That wasn't a problem per se. The food didn't really impress us either. The Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) were very greasy, and the shepherd's pasta was heavy with tomato sauce and not particularly cheese-oriented. The service was nice.

14/10/2025: We arrived two hours before closing time, and all we had was chicken fillet and grilled vegetables. Without telling us how much it was, they charged us €30 per person for one dish, even though all the other dishes were between €15 and €25. It was also too salty. Not again!! The conditions were very friendly, though.

22/09/2025: Perfect location, big room and super clean. Decent cold breakfast and ebike charging possible in a secure room; easy parking too. Best of all, staff were so incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you Urthaler Hotel to make our MTB holiday in the fantastic Dolomiten so wonderful and memorable.

Good breakfast with sweet and savory options and fruit, with average quality. Simple, functionally furnished rooms with balconies. Free parking nearby. Good value for money.
