25/01/2025: Excellent mountain hut reachable with a not too difficult hike. We parked before the barrier. (Now parking spaces are paid and no longer time slots).
Once we arrived at the hut, there was a nice playground for the children and excellent dishes!

05/02/2025: We stopped there spontaneously. It was very crowded. Nevertheless, we were offered a table where another couple was already sitting. Very uncomplicated! The food came very quickly and was very, very tasty. Lots of locals were there. Only the service could be friendlier and more attentive. But it was very crowded when we were there

08/02/2025: Purely.
There is a free small play area for children aged approximately 3 to 7 years old.
Cafe Illy is no good, the coffee is tasteless, the waitress is rude.
There are many chain stores of brands, prices are high. In German online stores, even without discounts, many of the products presented can be purchased cheaper.
Wasted time.

07/02/2025: Expected nothing and still disappointed. The ominous gentleman is not very nice, the service is okay. Money is charged for every service that is actually self-evident - hand and bath towels are only changed for €5, the toilet paper is single-ply. The rooms are extremely rancid, there are holes in the walls, light bulbs are missing, it smells of smoke, which probably comes from the ventilation. The door frames are also loose. The sauna is the only thing worth seeing. However, the food is very good.
Not recommended.
02/02/2025: The pizza was average. And the service was really bad. The lady was arrogant, she didn't even let us finish our coffee and wanted to pay the bill right after us. This would never happen in real Italy.

25/12/2024: Our visit to Luis's snack bar was a year and a half ago now, but I'm still annoyed that we stopped there on the way back from Italy to Germany on August 12, 2023. We (two adults and a child) bought two portions of fries and half a liter of mineral water for a total of ten euros. The fries were just terrible and almost inedible because they were simply fried far too short. Has anyone ever tried eating a raw potato? Yes? You can't eat them, right? And it was the same with the fries. Because we were hungry, we managed to eat some of it because the fries weren't completely raw, but it was absolutely terrible because it wasn't enjoyable at all. We didn't eat most of the portions. I don't understand how a professional snack bar on such an important long-distance route can deliver such subpar quality of food. Frying fries really shouldn't be rocket science these days; especially not when you do something like that countless times a day. Or do you ALWAYS do something like this? I guess the operators haven't eaten their own fries for a long time or maybe they've hired untrained help. No idea. We were there for the first and last time with Luis. It's a shame that we only realized later that there were numerous other options to satisfy our hunger for travel in the immediate vicinity of Brenner train station.

13/07/2024: Splendida pausa nel percorso con bici, da San Candido a Lienz.
Abbiamo preso uno squisito strudel con gelato alla vaniglia, un eccezionale gelato/sorbetto con fragole ed un eccellente affogato al cioccolato, sempre accompagnati saj famosi wafer!
01/04/2024: Leider war der Service im Restaurant sehr enttäuschend. Die Kellner waren unfähig, unsere Bestellung richtig aufzunehmen. Wir haben dreimal dasselbe bestellt und mussten dann 10 Minuten warten, ohne dass etwas passierte. Frustriert entschieden wir uns schließlich zu bezahlen, obwohl unsere Bestellung noch nicht gekommen war. Obwohl wir die Bestellung storniert hatten, wurde sie trotzdem zubereitet. Die interne Kommunikation scheint hier sehr mangelhaft zu sein. Zusätzlich wurde vergessen, das bestellte Wasser zum Kaffee zu bringen.

02/06/2024: Al llegar nos recibieron con un montón de moscas, por lo que muchos seguimos en cuclillas. Pensé que se irían, pero fueron implacables, y los empleados no parecían darse cuenta o preocuparse. Las mesas no parecían muy limpias, un poco pegajosas con la comida
Residuos. El servicio (para que alguien nos mire y reciba nuestra orden) bastante lento y no era hora punta. El sabor de la comida era entre regular y ok, pero me sorprendió desagradablemente cuando me di cuenta de que mi lasaña estaba súper caliente por un lado y muy fría por el otro lado (como salir de la nevera) - la excusa era que lo hacen temprano en el día y lo calientan al servir . . todavía no es excusa para no tomar los minutos que lleva para calentarlo correctamente . - para ser justos me ofrecieron un café gratis cuando señalé esto después de pagar, pero quería alejarme de las moscas, así que les dimos las gracias y nos fuimos. Alguien en nuestra mesa pidió schorle y tated como si tuviera apenas una gota de jugo en lugar de una bebida mezclada de agua - jugo. Inicialmente queríamos pizza, pero la que tenían en exhibición en la entrada parecía vieja y seca. Yo no volvería.
