20/05/2025: I was here the day before yesterday with my husband – the restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel.
Very tasty, large pizza – exactly what you'd want! The salad had a surprising subtle flavor of pickled fennel – absolutely delicious.
Large selection of food and drinks, good espresso, and regional draft beer.
Before 6 p.m., they only serve pizza – after 6 p.m., the full menu opens.
A true family business, run by three generations for 45 years – with heart and friendly service.
Despite its proximity to the road, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains from the sunny terrace – and there's plenty of parking.
Conclusion: Tradition, taste & warmth – we'll be happy to come back!

21/02/2025: Che dire.....non c'è posto migliore sulla piste di ladurns per fare una pausa pranzo tra una sciata ed un altra...cibo buonissimo con particolare menziona ai canederli, tutto il personale gentile e disponibile, tempi di attesa rapidi anche se il locale è pieno, la vista poi è meravigliosa!!!
Non vedo l'ora di tornare il prossimo anno!!!grazie!!

23/04/2025: Perfect start to your Italy vacation! We were here with the whole (large) family at 8:30! Kids were already hungry and ordered pasta! That wasn't a problem for the innkeeper at all! Food and drinks really delicious! Parking is ideal right in front of the door

25/01/2025: Excellent mountain hut reachable with a not too difficult hike. We parked before the barrier. (Now parking spaces are paid and no longer time slots).
Once we arrived at the hut, there was a nice playground for the children and excellent dishes!

Young waitress, friendly and polite
But then a middle-aged waiter (around 50+) came along
I've never seen such an unpleasant and arrogant person.
It was around 5 p.m.
The plate was taken away almost while we were eating.
No question about whether we wanted coffee or dessert.
Instead, we were simply told, "Payment is at the bar."
About 20 more guests arrived after us, including a group of 14 who weren't allowed into the restaurant even though they only wanted a drink.
They said, "No."
We're already closed, even though the opening hours say it's open until 6 p.m.
Never again.
Better leave your money next door.
They're happy when they can earn some money.
11/05/2025: Go there specifically once a year. One-way route 160 km. Food is great and plentiful! Rarely have we eaten so well.

13/07/2024: Splendida pausa nel percorso con bici, da San Candido a Lienz.
Abbiamo preso uno squisito strudel con gelato alla vaniglia, un eccezionale gelato/sorbetto con fragole ed un eccellente affogato al cioccolato, sempre accompagnati saj famosi wafer!
01/04/2024: Leider war der Service im Restaurant sehr enttäuschend. Die Kellner waren unfähig, unsere Bestellung richtig aufzunehmen. Wir haben dreimal dasselbe bestellt und mussten dann 10 Minuten warten, ohne dass etwas passierte. Frustriert entschieden wir uns schließlich zu bezahlen, obwohl unsere Bestellung noch nicht gekommen war. Obwohl wir die Bestellung storniert hatten, wurde sie trotzdem zubereitet. Die interne Kommunikation scheint hier sehr mangelhaft zu sein. Zusätzlich wurde vergessen, das bestellte Wasser zum Kaffee zu bringen.

02/06/2024: Al llegar nos recibieron con un montón de moscas, por lo que muchos seguimos en cuclillas. Pensé que se irían, pero fueron implacables, y los empleados no parecían darse cuenta o preocuparse. Las mesas no parecían muy limpias, un poco pegajosas con la comida
Residuos. El servicio (para que alguien nos mire y reciba nuestra orden) bastante lento y no era hora punta. El sabor de la comida era entre regular y ok, pero me sorprendió desagradablemente cuando me di cuenta de que mi lasaña estaba súper caliente por un lado y muy fría por el otro lado (como salir de la nevera) - la excusa era que lo hacen temprano en el día y lo calientan al servir . . todavía no es excusa para no tomar los minutos que lleva para calentarlo correctamente . - para ser justos me ofrecieron un café gratis cuando señalé esto después de pagar, pero quería alejarme de las moscas, así que les dimos las gracias y nos fuimos. Alguien en nuestra mesa pidió schorle y tated como si tuviera apenas una gota de jugo en lugar de una bebida mezclada de agua - jugo. Inicialmente queríamos pizza, pero la que tenían en exhibición en la entrada parecía vieja y seca. Yo no volvería.
