20/05/2026: Excellent and highly recommended. I've been coming back for years.

30/04/2026: A beautiful hotel nestled in the vineyards of South Tyrol. Excellent food, very friendly service, and a fantastic outdoor area. There's also an indoor swimming pool and saunas. I felt very comfortable.

25/04/2026: Very nice café and excellent variety of croissants.

08/03/2026: Breakfast on Sunday, March 8, 2026, around 10:00 a.m.: There were no menus on the tables outside. When I asked, I was told they would be brought shortly. After more than 10 minutes, I decided to go into the bar myself, get a pastry, and eat it at home. Extremely slow and inefficient service. Given the exorbitant prices in South Tyrol, as a paying customer, I expect top-notch service; otherwise, I should look for alternatives.

19/05/2026: I managed to get a room at short notice for one night. It was in the annex, which was perfectly fine. I'd overlooked it when booking. They readily refunded me €50 for the half-board I had booked but couldn't use – very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was extensive with attentive service. My only criticism is that the small reception area can get congested when several guests are arriving or departing at the same time. But we weren't exactly in a hurry.

07/11/2025: One of the few traditional restaurants left in Eppan, without any pretension. From the workers' menu to the regular menu, there's something for everyone. The pizza is exactly how a pizza should be: thin crust and plenty of toppings. Excellent value for money. If you want a thick crust, look for a "Pizza al taglio." Of course, the service is also praised. Cheers!

23/10/2025: A simple bakery with two options for queuing, which is a bit confusing... left or right? ☕🤔 On the left, you choose cakes 🍰 and pastries, and on the right, you get coffee, drinks, and pay. There's an option to sit outside (self-service). Restrooms available 😁

06/06/2026: We've stayed there several times over the years. Previously, the price/performance ratio was okay, but the standard was very basic. The rooms are now worn and musty, probably due to the old carpets. After all these years, they should really renovate with the income they've generated. Prices in the restaurant and guesthouse have constantly risen, while the quality and quantity have declined accordingly. The menu is very small (only snacks), and the selection is limited and expensive. The terrace area is tiny, located directly in the parking lot next to the parked cars, and the smell of gasoline while eating was awful. The owner is generally friendly, but the landlady is not. Anyone giving this place a good review is either doing them a favor or doesn't realize the reality. There are better options for the money, some with a view of the valley. We've been coming to Eppan/Girlan for 25 years and know the area well. No longer recommended (update 2026).
