26/12/2024: We arrived as a family for a dinner on December 25th. Most of the restaurants in the area were cloded . the service was excellent but the menu was limited because of the holiday, prices are definitely expensive compared to the value. The rating of the food in our eyes was low.

04/11/2024: Ich war schon vor 3Jahren einmal hier und habe die herrliche, ruhige Lage inmitten von Weinreben und Blick auf die umliegenden Berge wieder sehr genossen. Hier fühlt man sich in familiärer Atmosphäre wohl und wird rundherum verwöhnt. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar frisch und das Abendessen ist hervorragend! Die Weine sind köstlich und das gesamte Personal zuvorkommend. Auf ein Wiedersehen im Stroblhof freue ich mich jetzt schon! Herzliche Grüße nach Eppan!

04/11/2024: Bei angenehmen herbstlichen Temperaturen und strahlendem Sonnenschein bekamen wir einen gemütlichen Platz im Freien, der Tisch war wunderschön gedeckt und mit Liebe zum Detail mit Blumen geschmückt. Das freundliche Servicepersonal half gerne bei der Auswahl von Speisen und Wein und ging auch auf meine Extrawünsche ein. Die Gerichte waren alle fantastisch, eine wahre Gaumenfreude! Man merkte gleich die Frische und hohe Qualität der Zutaten. Auch optisch waren die Speisen ein Fest! Zum Abschluss gab es für mich noch einen hausgemachten glutenfreien Kastanienkuchen…ein wahrer Traum! Wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal, Danke für dieses schöne Erlebnis!

24/10/2024: Während einer Radtour durch das wunderschöne Unterland sind wir hier eingekehrt und wurden gut bewirtet. Freundlicher Service, leckere Pizza und ein toller Blick auf den Montiggler See haben uns die Pause genießen lassen.

29/01/2025: Fake friends were able to find out exactly when we would be spending our first family vacation with a child in this hotel with a simple phone call to Ms. Dellago. So much for confidentiality and data protection. Before we started our vacation, I asked by phone that we would definitely eat our meals alone as a family. This was personally assured to me by Ms. Dellago. After the father of this “family” staged a tantrum to shame others and shouted loudly, so that the finger was pointed at us, Ms. Dellago announced that there was no other way, we would be placed at the table of this “family” (2 adults and 4 children) with a child who was not even 2 years old on an unsecured stone staircase, that’s it. The mother of this “family” was unable to dress appropriately for the occasion; every day we were allowed to look at her underpants at dinner. Congratulations! The children accused the father of “drinking too much alcohol”. Conditions that are not worthy of a **** hotel. The vacation was ruined thanks to Mrs. Dellago's incompetence. Ms. Dellago can't do it and she doesn't want to either. Anyone looking for relaxation has come to the wrong place, every euro is wasted money.

01/11/2024: An exciting experience to say the least. It's a place from another era with slow and relaxed but very pleasant service. Rustic atmosphere, as well as the dishes, which I found convincing. Those looking for an authentic rural atmosphere will find it here, yes! Normal prices. Must try!

01/11/2024: Siamo stati solo per una merenda un pomeriggio di ottobre: ottime castagne, frittelle e birra ; non pensavo di trovare così tanta originalità: un salto indietro nel tempo dove all’interno si distingue un arredamento vintage, ambiente tipicamente alto atesino e familiare. Il personale generoso e molto alla mano riuscirà a saziarvi. Parcheggio piccolo. In estate possibilità di mangiare fuori in tranquillità.

01/11/2024: Buona cena con sapori interessanti e ben presentati, ma sinceramente mi aspettavo di più, anche per l'impostazione elegante data dal servizio al tavolo in un locale che mostra un arredamento un po' lontano dai gusti di oggi, forse da rinnovare.

01/11/2024: Ci fermiamo a pranzo pur senza aver prenotato dopo una passeggiata per le vie centrali del paese. Edificio storico, arredamento classico altoatesino. Il cestino dei pani caldi e dei grissini fatti in casa, accompagnati da spuma di ricotta sapida, é un ottimo modo di accoglierci, il raviolo di benvenuto è superlativo. Abbiamo pranzato a base di tartare di manzo con mousse di ricotta e maionese allo zafferano (giusta consistenza ed abbinamento sapori azzeccato) ed un soufflé di canederli di formaggi su crema di spinaci (mai assaggiato un canederlo così buono !). Non abbiamo approfittato delle eccellenti proposte dalla cantina perché ci aspettava un lungo viaggio di rientro a casa. Esperienza consigliata !!! Grazie Zur Rose !

18/10/2024: Rustic, simple cellar restaurant👍🏼 - great ambience, great food (normally just pizza), other things on order and by arrangement. Well attended, so reservations recommended! Very friendly service and normal prices.

26/10/2024: Excellent place with a very refined and evocative setting. Inside we speak mainly German but in case of ignorant customers (like me), the staff also speaks Italian. There are also menus in Italian. The service was a little slow but the food was good. Prices slightly higher than average. I recommend it if you are in the area.

28/10/2024: Unfortunately, not ideal for disabled guests, whether in the main building or the annex! The food was OK; I'm not used to half-board where you can't choose your food but instead the food is served to you... I don't like that! With two days off, you don't get the chance to sit together and have a drink in the afternoon! Our room didn't have a balcony (it's a shame for smokers that you have to go outside). I would never go back to this hotel.

19/10/2024: The panoramic view is undoubtedly magnificent. However, the location is not ideal for activities in the surrounding area. The bus only runs three times a day, and each trip by car is an adventurous journey through the narrow streets of the vineyards. The wellness area is adequate, but for the price I would expect a bit more. The sauna should have an anti-slip mat on the floor. I almost slipped and fell onto the sauna heater once. My room was cozy and comfortable, but unfortunately faced the mountain, so no view and it was a bit dark. The dining room is rustically cozy, with a nice ambiance. I was a bit negative about the play area right next to my table. It would be better if it were in a corner where children wouldn't disturb guests with occasional noise during meals. The food was good, even if it didn't always suit my taste. Unfortunately, there was no menu choice like the one offered in many other hotels in South Tyrol. For my dining schedule, it would have been better if dinner were served at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. at the latest, especially since the meal usually didn't finish until 9 p.m. due to the breaks between courses. If you go to bed early, you should be able to have your last meal 2 to 3 hours before bedtime for health reasons. The hosts were always friendly and helpful. However, I wouldn't overrate them, as many here have specifically emphasized. All in all, a nice hotel in a beautiful area. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right for my taste. I've stayed in better hotels in South Tyrol at cheaper prices. Addition: The room was booked directly with the hotel and not through a platform. Nevertheless, I found the price a bit high.
