We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the delicious, regional cuisine. The location is fantastic, high above Eppan and Bolzano, with views of the Dolomites. The farm has been family-owned for over 200 years.

02/06/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ansitz Rungghof. The location amidst the vineyards is beautiful and creates a particularly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are lovely and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
We would especially like to highlight the breakfast, which was beautifully served on a tiered stand. The half-board option also impressed us – it was of very high quality and highly recommended. Overall, the value for money is excellent. We would gladly return!

12/05/2026: On our cycling tours in the area, we've often stopped here and enjoyed the simple yet charming and cozy atmosphere in the garden of the Gasthof Egat. You sit close to fruit trees and various poultry, enjoying a traditional South Tyrolean snack and perhaps a glass or two of wine. On occasion, a local guest has even played guitar and entertained the garden's visitors.

25/07/2026: Pizzeria Olympia is simply top-notch! The pizza is incredibly delicious, and the entire meal is just amazing. You can taste that everything is cooked with fresh ingredients and a lot of love.
The cozy atmosphere is especially lovely. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive. As a family-run business, the pizzeria exudes a warmth that's rare to find these days.
A special shout-out goes to Erna. She runs everything perfectly, is always incredibly friendly, has a listening ear for every guest, and her warm personality makes everyone feel completely at ease.
If you want to eat really well and feel right at home, this is the place to be. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

17/11/2025: Saturday at lunchtime we wanted to have some wine... but as tourists, we were largely ignored. Every local was greeted and served... You can skip that here; there are much more welcoming wine bars.
We were served before we were... a man with a child... I even said we'd like some wine... and then they were already greeting people we knew... maybe we were "overlooked"... whatever.
07/10/2025: A very extensive selection, offering virtually everything in the best quality at the manufacturer's price! You can try everything, from sausages to cheese and, of course, wine. Highly recommended.

30/04/2026: A beautiful hotel nestled in the vineyards of South Tyrol. Excellent food, very friendly service, and a fantastic outdoor area. There's also an indoor swimming pool and saunas. I felt very comfortable.

The staff are very polite and knowledgeable; you feel very well taken care of.
The drinks are reasonably priced, but the snacks are a bit expensive.
The cappuccino and the beer we ordered tasted a little strange, which is why we're only giving it a 4-star rating.
(Update: Everything tasted better when we reordered. Thank you so much! We're happy to give it a 5-star rating now!)

08/03/2026: Breakfast on Sunday, March 8, 2026, around 10:00 a.m.:
There were no menus on the tables outside. When I asked, I was told they would be brought shortly. After more than 10 minutes, I decided to go into the bar myself, get a pastry, and eat it at home. Extremely slow and inefficient service. Given the exorbitant prices in South Tyrol, as a paying customer, I expect top-notch service; otherwise, I should look for alternatives.

19/05/2026: I managed to get a room at short notice for one night. It was in the annex, which was perfectly fine. I'd overlooked it when booking. They readily refunded me €50 for the half-board I had booked but couldn't use – very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was extensive with attentive service. My only criticism is that the small reception area can get congested when several guests are arriving or departing at the same time. But we weren't exactly in a hurry.

Restaurant Seehotel Sparer

27/06/2026: It was a wonderful stay at the Seehotel Sparer! Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, from the owners to the chambermaids! The food was superb; I've never eaten so well!
The only drawback was the carpet in the room and the lack of air conditioning; it was 32 degrees Celsius in the room last night! According to the owner, this problem will be resolved by next season.
Lake Montiggl is beautiful and perfect for walks. The hotel is very dog-friendly; we were there with two dogs!
I've already booked again for the beginning of September!
13/06/2026: We had a wonderful holiday.
The location, the room, the staff – simply top-notch.
The breakfast and meals were very varied and delicious.
The beds were too hard for us.
But we were immediately given two mattress toppers.
After that, we slept wonderfully, as the location is very quiet.
The owners are also very dog-friendly and accommodating.
The only downside is the parking.
It's a bit limited. But that's not their fault.
If we ever return to South Tyrol, we'll definitely stay with you again.
