Fusilli di farro al pesto di erbette del luogo e risotto ai funghi, faraona e maialino, crostone toscano, dolce del soldato, lasciano tutti sapori intensi e delicati insieme. 16/03/2025: We returned to eat at Osteria del Leone and for us it was confirmed as the best restaurant in the area. We started with appetizers of hand-cut ham and pate with exquisite pa brioche made by them. Then to follow pici with garlic, cacio e pepe and their carbonara which is truly Top! Then among the specials we took the pork chop cooked at low temperature and the truly special mullets stuffed with smoked provola and fried. To close on all the delicious desserts, a special mention for the buffalo ricotta ice cream with sour cherries which was truly incredible. Fast and kind service. Wine list for connoisseurs with a wide selection of labels and prices. We will definitely return on our next visit to Siena. Well done!

04/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena da voi, io e la mia compagna, e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla qualità dei vostri piatti. Ho iniziato con il prosciutto di cinta senese tagliato al coltello: semplicemente delizioso, con un grasso che si scioglieva in bocca. Lei ha scelto il carciofo alla giudia, asciutto e saporito, cucinato alla perfezione. Come primo, ho provato i pici tirati a mano con sugo di lepre: fantastici, con un sapore intenso e ben equilibrato. Lei ha optato per le pappardelle ai funghi porcini, che si sentiva fossero fatte a mano con grande cura. Abbiamo concluso con il loro tiramisù, il finale perfetto per una cena davvero riuscita. Il conto è stato più che giusto per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti. Ci tornerei molto volentieri!

22/03/2025: Went on the recommendation of the facility where we are staying. At first glance we feared it would be a bit touristy, but we absolutely changed our minds about everything! Quick, kind and attentive service. Abundant, tasty and well-prepared dishes. I didn't like the proximity to the next table even if, to be honest, they found us a table without a reservation so it was probably a more "unlucky" table. All the waiters were excellent. Value for money in the current average.

16/11/2024: Walking through San Quirico d'Orcia, you'll see this charming restaurant along the boardwalk with the menu written on a chalkboard. The staff was amazing as far as assisting with helping you decide what to get. I really enjoyed the cozy setting and on a nice day, you can sit outside and people watch. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was delicious as well as all of their fresh bruschetta! Stop by if you're in the area!

10/01/2025: Ristorante adiacente ad un bar Tabacchi poco distante dal centro del borgo medioevale.Locale senza fronzoli,cibo buono,servizio veloce ed attento in una location discreta.Un po rumoroso a causa del vicino bar ma comunque sicuramente da ritornarci.Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

15/03/2025: Beautiful evening: welcome, excellent service, dishes prepared by the chef who owns the restaurant, skilled in cooking meat and fish with quality raw materials, presenting traditional dishes with the addition of a polite creativity. We enjoyed a first entree offered by the chef, followed by creamed cod on chickpea cream and garlic croutons, spaghetti with oil, garlic, raw chilli, red prawns and their bisque, washed down with a fragrant pinot blanc. Well-built cellar provided. Exquisite homemade sweets. To conclude an experience worth trying and with the desire to repeat it to discover new dishes pampered with attention and without haste. Prices absolutely in line with the dishes offered, you leave happy!

15/03/2025: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Locale accogliente, buon servizio, menù non banale. Pappardelle tirate a mano con cinghiale battuto a mano: sublimi. Filetto di cinta: eccezionale. Peposo: una delizia. Semifreddo al vino santo: spaziale. Bravi!
