Now there are access problems due to road reconstruction, but the uniqueness of the place is in the second entrance. Perhaps less comfortable but incredibly fascinating. Visiting the restaurant remains a priority if you pass through these parts. A plus is the service: the friendliness and affability of the owner are a plus that transforms every visit into an enchanting adventure. Update: road and access finally fixed, it is confirmed as a true oasis for a restaurant for the soul and... also the stomach... highly recommended.

It was recommended to us by Simone, the owner of the B&B Poggiobonizio and I would say... excellent advice. We have practically adopted it for our dinners. Good food with Tuscan and local specialties. Friendly staff, especially the old owner. I recommend it for anyone who is in Poggibonsi and the surrounding area.

The cod my partner ordered was rather bland, and the pieces of picania I ordered were a bit chewy. The dessert was also quite mediocre. Overall from a gastronomic point of view it was quite disappointing.

30/04/2025: A few months ago I contacted the property and it was confirmed that the restaurant was closed on Mondays. Precisely for this reason, I organized my entire trip so that I could visit the restaurant on a Tuesday. I was particularly excited at the idea of ​​tasting the olive oil and wine produced by you, and then also purchasing them as gifts for friends. That same morning I went to the restaurant to book a table for 8.30pm. On that occasion, I also left my room number and my telephone number. Imagine my disappointment when, after a long wait and with great anticipation, I was told that my reservation had been canceled without my being informed. The staff insisted they sent me a message — a message I never received — and placed all the blame on me, without even showing me proof of sending. If it was really necessary to confirm via message, wouldn't it have been more correct to notify me at the time of booking? The staff's response was simply that the restaurant was fully booked, without offering me any alternatives. When I asked if there was another solution, I was told in a dismissive tone: “You have a car, don't you?” Thanks to this episode, one of the days of my pregnancy honeymoon — which until then had been beautiful — became a very bitter memory. Thank you with all my heart.

The environment is well-kept and refined but the dishes are abandoned but should be improved, I expected a higher quality. Fortunately at least the wine is of a superior level. 15/05/2025: Food is delicious. We have been to the restaurant 3 times in 1 week and always had great food and service, except for the last time. Service left a lot to be desired. In particular with the manager / owner. I ordered a plate of pasta and was given a very small portion compared to other tables sitting next to us. When I asked the waitress if they could add a little more pasta to my plate, they told me that I had to wait until the end of the meal and see If I wanted more. When paying the bill I addressed the issue with the manager/owner and she was very rude and disrespectful, raised her voice at me and told me I was the problem. Obviously, I will never go back. This person needs to learn about respect and customer service. Great food, but the worse customer service ever. Great way to ruin our dinner.

21/05/2025: If all you serve are pizzas, you better make great pizzas….We liked their pizzas so much we went twice during our 4 days stay in Poggibonsi. Friendly service as well and good parking. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

23/04/2025: È un locale molto curato, si mangia bene e il personale è molto attento ed educato verso i commensali. Sono stata a cena qui per la prima volta il 20 Aprile per il compleanno del mio amico e mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Vi ringrazio sopratutto per la torta al cioccolato era buonissima.

28/02/2025: È la seconda volta che vengo in questo.locale e anche questa sera abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza, sottile e croccante proprio come piace a me, ed un'altrettanto ottima birra alla spina. Buoni anche i dolci, crema catalana e mille foglie alla crema con gocce di cioccolato. Prezzi buoni La prossima volta proveremo il pesce che da quanto abbiamo potuto vedere intorno deve essere molto buono.

25/05/2025: I would say a characteristic place, with a Spanish atmosphere and background music. Too bad that as soon as we entered we found no one to welcome us. We went specifically to try their "famous" paella but, I would say we were quite disappointed. Seafood and vegetable paella with fish that I would say was not fresh and definitely too little quantity for two people. Good tapas and dessert. Final bill medium/high.

06/05/2025: Almorzamos aquí con algunos colegas de negocios. El restaurante es parte de un bloque anónimo y moderno, que tal vez no es mucho para mirar desde la carretera, pero cuando entras en él te das cuenta rápidamente de que este es un lugar que se toma en serio el vino y la comida. Una experiencia maravillosa - gran servicio, buena comida. La carbonara, como británica gastronómicamente enferma, fue alucinante.
