02/11/2025: Hidden gem in the hills of Chianti not to far from San Donato we came across this wonderful spot that if you weren’t paying attention you would pass right on by. We discovered it 8-9 years ago and we’ve been returning ever since, sometimes twice in a trip. Amazing view and a wonderful outdoor covered patio. This was the first place where I ordered Porcini mushrooms and the waiter brought out a platter of uncooked ones for me to pick from. Absolutely delicious as all of their dishes are. I especially like the pappardelle with the wild boar ragu. Be sure to try a bottle of the local Chianti - our favorite is the Quercia Al Poggio,
03/10/2025: My wife booked a wine tasting here for her birthday while we were visiting from the US. Wonderful experience, friendly & accommodating staff, great food and wine. Our presenter was knowledgeable and courteous to our MANY questions.
We'd highly recommend visiting here.

13/09/2025: Only 2 stars because we based our choice of a place for a week's stay on these reviews and were very, very disappointed with the breakfast.
300 euros per night and the same every day, plus an additional 6 euros for an omelet or soft-boiled egg.
The lunch selection was also very average. We only ate once. Dinner was also decent, but that was about it. It's better to go to the nearby towns.
10/08/2025: A perfect dinner. The view is spectacular, the food delicious, and the service attentive, friendly but not intrusive. Everything was excellent; I highly recommend it if you're in the area. My favorite dishes were the
pappardelle with venison and porcini mushrooms and the peach and thyme tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream.

03/10/2025: It's open for lunch, which is a win. The food was good, but not the best I've had in Italy. The service was good, but they didn't tell me what was on offer that day. The daily menu looked better than the menu. And they forgot to bring me the dessert menu. The best service in Italian restaurants was from foreigners in search of a better life.

11/10/2025: The place is enchanting... but the food is even more so! Heartfelt compliments to Chef Sauro, the way he cooks meat... NOBODY!!! And then, after getting to know him, we can say the same about the person he is: incredibly kind! We'll be back to try other dishes, compliments to Cosimo and the entire staff!
17/09/2025: Everything was very good and of high quality! I had a problem with the pici all'aglione, which were very spicy and wasn't indicated on the menu! But other than that, I have nothing negative to say!

26/07/2025: Servicio súper bueno, amable y relajado. Menú degustación de 5 platos con tamaño perfectamente equilibrado de los platos (a muy buen precio) y maridajes de vinos que eran realmente spot - on. (¡Y somos exigentes!) Hermoso entorno - no se pierda!

Ho mangiato benissimo in questo ristorante: piatti curati, ingredienti freschi e sapori autentici. Il personale è stato cordiale e attento, l’ambiente accogliente e pulito. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chi cerca qualità e ospitalità.
Il ragazzo napoletano e stato davvero cordiale e attento!

27/07/2025: Nos alojamos en Borgo di Pierre fitta, a 4 minutos a pie de este restaurante.
No sabía qué esperar para ser honesto. Sin embargo IT era simplemente increíble. Ahora al día IT suele ser la comida o el Servicio lo que destaca por ser el mejor pero en esta enoteca IT fueron los dos. El servicio era amable, sonriente y muy acogedor. La comida fue hecha con amor y orgullo. Soy un chef Mi yo y yo podemos saber cuándo la comida se hace perfectamente o no.
Estuvimos allí 4 veces en nuestra estancia de 10 días, y realmente queremos volver!
Gracias Stefano, Carlo y dulce frente si el personal de la casa.

11/04/2025: Top gegeten voor de lunch. Er is geen kaart. Je kiest uit de toog je vlees en ze bakken dit. Of je laat je verrassen zoals wij en geniet heerlijk van Toscaanse keuken. De chef serveert wat hij die dag gemaakt heeft. Redelijke prijs en propere zaak!

03/05/2025: Locale a gestione familiare, tutto buonissimo dal primo al dolce. Pici allo stracotto pazzeschi e una delle fiorentine più buone mai mangiate!! Menzione speciale per il cameriere romano Luca che è uno spasso. Straconsigliato!
26/04/2025: Una delle cene migliori della mia vita considerando sia l'ottima qualità della carne e del vino, sia e soprattutto la simpatia e l'esperienza di Luca che ci ha accolti e guidati per tutta la durata della cena!
