08/12/2025: Two charming twins welcomed us to the osteria: one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen. Extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, they recommended one dish more delicious than the next!
Testaroli with basil pesto and fabulous walnut cream, delicate yet "porcella" porchetta accompanied by a truly bold Tropea red onion and spicy pork hock. A young Trebbio red with cherry notes perfectly contrasted the dishes.
Kindly offered by the house, the amaro with cinchona and bitter orange finished off the meal in style.
Well done, guys! See you on your next trip to Tuscany...

06/12/2025: I left with high hopes of discovering an excellent restaurant, given the reviews I'd read. I wasn't convinced by the mushroom pasta, as I couldn't taste the mushrooms; it was bland. Everything else was good, and the service was good.

17/12/2025: My favorite place in Pontremoli. Excellent and easy-to-digest pizzas, focaccias, and cecina (or "calda calda" as they say in Massa). Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the herb pie that had been highly recommended because they only serve it on weekends. The atmosphere is beautiful, popular, but cleaner and more refined than many restaurants that call themselves gourmet. The service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.
14/11/2025: I think that visiting Pontremoli and not tasting their pizza is like not having visited the town.

The service was good - they found a English speaking woman for me
It was a but noisy for my taste - the radio was loud - but the interior very nice

13/08/2025: Escaping the highway, we found a tasty stop along the Cisa alternative route, with exceptional hospitality and excellent quality. It was one of those unforgettable stops that we'll definitely make again. The Fritto Misto was the envy of many renowned seaside restaurants; the quality was evident in every bite. Next time, we'll also take advantage of the Pescheria to bring home a final taste of the sea in Pavia.

14/07/2025: I pay by card... "It doesn't work" is an old story, especially if you only mention it at checkout without even warning them first, perhaps with a simple sign like some do.
Then, a soy latte macchiato costs €2.50...it costs less at the Autogril.

Even better in the warmer months, with tables on the narrow riverside terrace for romantic one-on-one encounters.
Excellent value for money.
07/12/2025: You get there by crossing bridges over streams, passing through narrow streets in the center, and even ravines you don't know or can only imagine, and finally you arrive at this simple and splendid old-fashioned trattoria, just the right amount of chaotic, with outdoor seating on a wonderful veranda overlooking the river.
There's no printed menu, but the few delicious dishes are spoken.
We order an appetizer of a simply amazing local salami, with ricotta and chestnut fritters, pecorino cheese, herb cake, and giardiniera.
First courses include artichoke ravioli and a fantastic walnut sauce, and the second course is fried lamb.
The place is small and always busy; reservations are required, otherwise you risk waiting a few minutes, but the service is quick.
The owner is friendly and lively.

17/08/2025: The atmosphere is simple, the welcome is warm and friendly. The cuisine is clearly home-cooked, with generous and delicious dishes. The service is attentive to customer requests, and the commitment to speed is evident, but we know that there can be waits in any restaurant. The route certainly requires some attention, but just ask the staff for suggestions and try other routes. The price was well in line with what was expected, considering the dishes ordered and the portions. For my part, today's lunch was truly enjoyable.
