02/11/2025: Excellent, exquisite traditional Parmesan dishes. The staff is courteous and professional.
16/10/2025: Aside from the grumpy owner, the rest of the staff is friendly. The service definitely needs work. Wine glasses are handed out to everyone, regardless of whether they're drinking or not, and the chef coming out of the kitchen to serve and clear the table is completely unheard of!!! (In my opinion, it's not even hygienic).
As for the food, the only praise goes to the herb ravioli: simple but good. As for the rest: chestnut gnocchi loaded with gorgonzola that completely covered the flavor of the chestnuts, and pumpkin ravioli alla mantovana, where the amaretto was forgotten (if it had been there, it would have been noticeable).
As for desserts, we were unlucky as both the cheesecake and the torta susanna were quite stale, so we didn't enjoy our meal that night. Prices are normal. NEVER AGAIN.

The service was good - they found a English speaking woman for me
It was a but noisy for my taste - the radio was loud - but the interior very nice

13/08/2025: Escaping the highway, we found a tasty stop along the Cisa alternative route, with exceptional hospitality and excellent quality. It was one of those unforgettable stops that we'll definitely make again. The Fritto Misto was the envy of many renowned seaside restaurants; the quality was evident in every bite. Next time, we'll also take advantage of the Pescheria to bring home a final taste of the sea in Pavia.

14/07/2025: I pay by card... "It doesn't work" is an old story, especially if you only mention it at checkout without even warning them first, perhaps with a simple sign like some do.
Then, a soy latte macchiato costs €2.50...it costs less at the Autogril.

The menu selection was limited: three first courses and two second courses, and one of the two second courses was sold out, forcing us to choose. The flavors of the dishes were bland, and we didn't like them.
We appreciated the cheese appetizer.
The service was also unpleasant.
A trusted person recommended the place to us, and we even made a reservation. We think our experience was a coincidence, probably due to the busy schedule that day.

23/09/2025: A colleague and I were passing through the area on business, looking for a place to have lunch, but we were stopped by a man who rudely told us that workers weren't welcome! My colleague then replied, "But we're both well-off workers!" She, in turn, said that further on we'd find a restaurant that, "in her opinion," would be more suitable for us!

A trattoria like in the old days:
As soon as we entered, Monica (the owner) welcomed us. Even though she was busy serving other guests, she sat us at our table, which we had previously reserved. We ate:
Appetizer with top-quality cured meats and cheeses.
3 types of pasta, all homemade by her:
exquisite ravioli with meat sauce
Very delicate Maltagliati
Tuscan Pici
For dessert, Tiramisu
All the ingredients are excellent.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional dishes prepared with Monica's dedication and passion.
We will definitely be back.
