Great ice cream, nothing to complain about, excellent raw materials, in fact you only need to taste their fior di latte to understand its quality. The dark chocolate is delicious. Rich flavours, but not fatty and heavy. Clean finish without leaving sugary sensations 4 flavour cup, €4.50 a small one for the asking price. Recommended

29/11/2024: We had dinner in this bistro and were pleasantly surprised by the enveloping atmosphere created by Viola, the owner and fantastic cook, and Daniele, the great restaurant master... Florentine meatballs as per tradition and even better and inebriating Thai chicken, not easy to find in these areas... truly Neapolitan baba' in the end... all watered down with excellent pinot blanc and selected rum... to come back a thousand times!

22/06/2025: The best restaurant in Viareggio hands down. Traditional cuisine with oriental elements that innovate the flavors. The tempura shrimp are amazing, as is the carpaccio of umrbina. The meat of the tartare was very fresh.

20/06/2025: Henri and his family are amazing chefs. Henri was so warm and welcoming, and the food was extraordinary! My wife and I were visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada and the hospitality was exceptional!! We had a wonderful evening and were treated like royalty. Merci Henri!!

30/06/2025: Highly recommended if you want to eat great meat in Viareggio, but all the dishes are really delicious. The staff is very kind and efficient. I have already been there five times, every time friends or family come to visit me. The location is small but cozy, even if I find it a little dark.

18/05/2025: I rarely give 5 stars but “Il Piccolo Principe” deserves them all. Starting from the booking process and the courtesy phone call the day before dinner. Everything was simply perfect: welcome, professionalism, kindness and smiles putting customers at ease. The care of the guest is a value in this restaurant. We tasted the classic menu and I was impressed by all the courses and the very high quality. Of course, some things are more in my style while others are less so but the care, attention and research are indisputable. Really good. And the guys are uniquely professional and prepared. Compliments in particular to Aisha (I hope it is written like that) and to the other guy (whose name I don't know). We will return.

24/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua al Piccolo Principe . Ambiente stupendo,confortevole e rilassante e il personale di una gentilezza unica. Siamo stati benissimo, il pranzo è stato un susseguirsi di piatti bellissimi, il mix di sapori perfetto. E il dolce finale…. una vera sorpresa!! Un’ esperienza da fare!

18/06/2025: It happens that one evening you decide to take a walk after dinner and while walking you realize that you have lost a piece of the house keys. So you start to go back and forth, because you can't give up, it's a dear memory, but it so happens that you start to feel an urge, but pretending nothing is happening you continue back and forth. At a certain point you just can't take it anymore, you really need to go "plin plin". You look around and see a restaurant, a little embarrassed you approach the entrance of the room and seek someone's attention. With not too much enthusiasm a gentleman in a blue shirt of average height approaches and you ask him the fateful question with a certain answer: "Excuse me if I'm a bother, I wanted to ask if I can use your dressing table?". And instead he surprises you and you hear him say "No, it's reserved for our customers". Having no other option you add: "I apologize, but I really need it!" Raising his arm with a gesture that seemed like Ma va a.... he says to me: "Mavaaaaa". Not caring, and not understanding if it was the indication or something else, I use the toilet, which is also very well-kept and clean, and within two minutes I leave, not missing the opportunity to thank him, but adding that he was not kind at all. Leaving I noticed that the place was full of people and the dishes, which were also beautiful, seemed appetizing, who knows, maybe one of these evenings I will come for dinner hoping to find more empathy and kindness. Nothing is owed, of course, but .... A 55 year old. PS I didn't even find the keys, it's not really my evening.

10/06/2025: Amazing take-away for a quick bite if you love fried fish (and chips) :-) The super kind gentleman offered to try some bits before deciding and mixed some leftover fish for a quick and delicious mix! Would love to come back to get a box whenever I pass by Viareggio again.

08/06/2025: The place is small but welcoming, the staff are very kind and the service times are excellent, the food quality/price ratio is excellent, highly recommended, the dishes are of excellent quality, try the ravioli and the desserts are also excellent

10/05/2025: I had read the reviews. I tasted an exceptional first course with prawn and pistachio dressing. Fabulous. I "fished" the ravioli with scallops and burrata from another plate... divine. Then a very light fried dish that you could tell had been cooked in new oil that hadn't been burned for centuries. Truly an exceptional experience. They offer various formulas that satisfy everyone. The bill was fair, in fact, not at all expensive. I met two sisters with a beautiful smile. Final vote? For people who prefer tasteful simplicity over fake places... 10/10. Nice to see that there are still young people getting involved. Excellent with praise.

06/07/2025: unfortunately disappointment because we waited an hour for them to bring us the dishes that also arrived cold (meat and fish). perhaps there was a misunderstanding because they brought everything together between first and second courses and this was not necessary.... some insignificant dishes such as gnocchi with scampi, white gnocchi with 2 scampi on top, burger with too much onion and lousy burger bread.....

20/04/2025: Good sandwich shop, excellent for takeaway sandwiches too. Cozy place but with few seats, fast service. I recommend the "Pistoiese" sandwich.
