01/04/2024: I have already been to this restaurant and I was already satisfied with how I ate. This Easter Monday (2024) was even better, even though the place was full.
Good food, as is the quality of the wines.
Fair price.
The service was friendly and attentive!
I highly recommend it, even to those who want to take, after a good lunch, a walk near the natural oasis of Massaciuccoli

01/04/2024: The review, I state, only concerns the hospitality aspect given that our drink was only two glasses.
We enter at around 7.30pm, on the counter there are many aperitif pieces, pizzas, scones, sandwiches, etc. We ask for two glasses of red after it has been clarified to us that there is no table service and we are given two saucers if we want eat something.
I grab two small pieces of pizza and we head to the table.
The shop assistants who bustle around our table don't tell us anything about the closure, only to then, around 8pm, comment loudly from the counter about who goes to eat at that time who definitely doesn't work in a bar!
Since we hear, we understand that we have to get up and, at the same moment, one of the girls tells us with a brush in her hand that the place is closing.
Well, let's pay. There is a rather annoyed tone. Among other things, a customer was still at the counter eating.
Now, I understand well the tiredness and the desire to end the shift, however it was enough to simply tell us how long we could stay in the room without talking behind our backs.
I don't think we will return to try other specialties.

27/02/2024: A restaurant that doesn't invite you to enter from the outside, but once you enter you discover the space at the back with many tables. Good, average food. There were many of us and we entered late, to speed up the service they offered us a fixed price menu with mixed fish starters, two first courses, house wine, coffee and bitters. Excellent move, appreciated and at a good price (€35 each). Courteous, friendly and helpful staff. The place has nothing special.

They offered us a nice formula at €35 with starter, two first courses, one second course and dessert, as well as wine and water. What can I say, kind service, good dishes and a well-kept location. Definitely a restaurant where I will return and which I recommend.

06/04/2024: Elegant environment with background music, friendly staff attentive to our needs. The menu of seafood crudités is fantastic. Among the dishes of the day are excellent spaghetti with sea urchins. Abundant and delicious fried fish and vegetables. We will definitely be back.
03/04/2024: We went on Easter Monday for lunch, it has been a must for many years now... Fresh fish and good dishes as well as the choice of wines and desserts. Even ground dishes like Tordelli don't disappoint. The pizza we've tried other times doesn't drive us crazy. Otherwise a nice restaurant. Price/quality ratio. Good. To return and to recommend 👌🍾

05/04/2024: A place for dinners but also lunches characterized by good cuisine, a private environment designed to guarantee tranquility for guests. Almost exclusively land-based menu but also pizzeria. All very good with attentive and helpful staff. Free parking nearby and correct price at the end.
12/03/2024: Too cute rustic setting, delicious food. Ideal for those who appreciate dishes such as wild boar, rabbit, tordelli... But you can also get pizzas and sandwiches. I had wild boar and polenta, served in a pan. Prices a little high, but every now and then it's worth it. We will definitely be back.

26/04/2024: When I'm in the area I can't help but stop at the Chiodo. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten (I think it's the best in the whole area). The owners are friendly and always smiling. Waiting times are normal in my opinion. Excellent takeaway service.

17/03/2024: Siamo ritornati a distanza di un anno per un raduno del pastore tedesco abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per 7 bipedi e 5 quattro zampe ci hanno accolto con cortesia portandoci subito due ciotole con acqua. Abbiamo cenato con i piatti tipici del luogo accompagnato con dell’ottimo Chianti. Le cameriere gentilissime e prodighe a spiegarci i piatti sempre sorridenti. Un locale in cui tornare con piacere. Grazie dell’ospitalità e buon lavoro a tutto lo Staff.
20/01/2024: Ambiente confortevole, staff gentile e ben preparato. Ottima la carne, specialmente la tagliata con i funghi, che dire…. Bravi! Torneremo sicuramente per provare altri piatti!!!!
