The Testaroli al Pesto were truly delicious and, to my German taste, something quite exotic. I'd gladly order them again! The restaurant makes a good impression right from the moment you walk in. They've made the most of the ambiance, given its proximity to the street intersection, but it can be a bit noisy outside.

Great place to eat and very affordable, quality dishes. I fell in love with the pesto they make, and they're from Genoa. Highly recommended. The staff and owners are very friendly, unlike others I've found at other restaurants.

We arrived on a particularly muggy evening, and the air-conditioned room struggled to reach a comfortable temperature. The pizza was good, although I'm not a fan of thin-crust pizzas.

05/08/2026: The food was delicious very fresh and a wonderful menu but the feeling inside the restaurant was not welcoming. From when we arrived it felt as though they did not want us there. The only time in during my many times in coming to Italy that I felt uncomfortable. Very strange place to eat I feel as though they do not want tourists to eat there.
25/06/2026: We went for lunch yesterday with friends, and what can I say? The restaurant is always a guarantee. The atmosphere is beautiful and unique, but it's in keeping with the history of the place. The exterior is also beautiful, but it's unusable right now due to the heat. Other than that, the service is top-notch and the food is excellent. Everything is delicious... Prices are in line with the quality and service. Definitely worth a try if you're passing through Lucca. It's not far from the historic center, but you'll need a car.

18/04/2026: The focaccia is good, but the salad isn't. Low quality and lack of attention to detail. The tart is not bad.
05/04/2026: I've been several times and everything is excellent! It's a place that doesn't make the usual pizza, but you go there knowing that it's different and very good! The prices are in line with the location. The wait is a bit, but it's worth it, especially because everything is done with care and love!
