01/10/2024: Restaurant with ambitions, in the small square behind the church, tables almost exclusively outdoors, very popular and trendy. Proposal of very interesting dishes on paper, unfortunately much less so on the palate. Ravioli with thick dough and raw on the ends, huge and tasteless pork ribs, only bone and no meat. The wine list is basic, furthermore the bottles with the best quality/price ratio are not available without this being indicated in any way, not even with a pencil asterisk. Avoid sweets, they have nothing to do with the description. Very high prices also for Elba (first courses at 26 euros, starters 22 euros).

17/05/2025: Very nice location in one of the most beautiful squares of Marciana Marina, we ate outside. The dishes are very good and well cooked, perhaps the portions a little more abundant for some dishes.

04/05/2025: Local with outdoor area on the street with a view of the marina and the characteristic Cotton neighborhood in Marciana Marina. The stuffed anchovies were breaded and fried to perfection, delicious. The spaghetti with fennel, anchovies, pine nuts and raisins (Palermitana style, for connoisseurs) was very good; It's a shame that fennel wasn't very noticeable, even though it's in season. The grilled mackerel, with a side of green beans (also on the grill) and bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and capers was excellent, fresh and well prepared. Forget the cannoli: the zest, although crunchy, was pale, the ricotta mediocre, and there was too much orange. For €8 I expected something much better. The service was generally good, both he and she were kind. We slipped towards the end where, in the face of €125 for 1 starter, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, a mediocre white by the glass, water, he asked us for a second transaction for the two forgotten coffees... perhaps he deserved to offer them to us. 4 stars of encouragement.

03/05/2025: Beautiful location on the square, very friendly and quick service, great for breakfast with a dolce or salatto. Apperitivo buffet is not exceptional but it’s ok.

04/05/2025: Disappointing experience. We started with a seafood appetizer, the price of which indicated on the menu did not correspond to the one shown on the receipt (slightly increased). We then ordered a second course: catch of the day off the menu, served with a side of potatoes, olives and cherry tomatoes. The price per hectogram of the fish was not communicated to us, probably due to an oversight by the waiter. We ordered no wine, no desserts, no coffee — just a bottle of water — and we ended up with a bill of 107 euros. Frankly, the quantity/price ratio seemed completely disproportionate to us. In general, we do not consider it acceptable to spend so much on a starter and a second course. We won't be returning.
