11/07/2025: We recently dined at Il Senseo Canto in the beautiful Roccatederighi. The location has a lot of potential thanks to the stunning view, but unfortunately, this was largely negated by a poorly maintained garden. The patio furniture also looked cheap, which detracted from the ambiance. The menu offered plenty of choice, but the appetizers were disappointing – they lacked finesse and weren't seasoned well. Our daughter's pizza was also undercooked. Fortunately, the main courses made up for this: they were flavorful and well-prepared. The desserts were also delicious and well-presented. The wine list was positive: the prices were reasonable and there was a nice selection. What struck us was the timing of the checkout. We paid cash and were asked if we wanted all our change back. Although I always tip, I felt this question was borderline and not entirely appropriate. All in all, the price-quality ratio was reasonable, but with a little more attention to detail and upkeep, this place could really be much more charming.

27/06/2025: We ate here four times during our stay in Sassofortino because we loved everything about this restaurant. Fresh, local ingredients are transformed into magical Italian dishes with rustic charm. I couldn't even say what I liked best, as everything was excellent across the board. Coupled with impeccable and attentive service, it brought a smile to my face. Thank you so much for this experience.

19/06/2025: Truly an incredible, special place. We had our wedding at La Pescaia and it could not have been a more perfect weekend. The rooms are stunning, the landscape is spectacular, food/drinks delicious (plus reasonably priced), and most importantly the best staff that make you feel truly at home. Our guests can't stop talking about La Pescaia and we are already counting down the days we can go back for a visit :)

15/06/2025: La Pescaia Resort is such a special place where to get married. As photographer we’re totally in love with this amazing venue located in in the heart of the Maremma in Tuscany. It has a kind of wild, authentic soul that you just can't find everywhere. It's the kind of place that makes our job an absolute joy because its beauty is so natural and effortless. The grounds are a dream, couples can get married under these magnificent, centuries-old trees, the light that comes through them is pure magic, or with the beautiful, historic villa as their backdrop. Either way, it feels incredibly intimate and natural. And the evenings... wow. A reception dinner under the pergola, lit up with what seems like thousands of tiny lights and candles, is honestly one of the most romantic settings we've ever had the privilege to capture. It’s so peaceful, you're just surrounded by the sounds and scents of the Tuscan countryside. We can't recommend it enough and are always so excited when we get to return. 03/08/2025: Disappointment at the Table – A Missed Opportunity Visiting this small-town restaurant was unfortunately an unsatisfactory experience in many ways. The first difficulty arose upon arrival, with parking far away and poorly signposted, making access inconvenient. Once seated, expectations did not improve. The service was inattentive: long waits and staff that were not fully qualified, likely understaffed. Despite the rustic ambiance, the table settings were decidedly sloppy, with low-quality tablecloths and cheap cutlery, giving the impression of a lack of attention to detail. The space was overused, with tables spaced too close together and too small to accommodate diners. The portions were modest and in no way justified the rather high prices. Even the dishes, while presentable, failed to impress with either originality or flavor, leaving an overall feeling of blandness. In a local cuisine setting, one expects authenticity and substance, elements only vaguely touched upon here. In short, a disappointment in almost every respect, compounded by a decidedly unbalanced quality-price ratio. It's a shame, because the location has potential, but the management seems to be neglecting what really matters to keep customers coming back: attention, hospitality, and quality.

02/08/2025: I am extremely disappointed by this restaurant. While the setting is splendid, at first glance you expect a small, typical village restaurant with good Italian food. In reality, the pretty terrace is spoiled by the much too loud English pop music which does not fit with the atmosphere of the place. The waitress was friendly but the food was abominable. The gnocchi were homemade, that's for sure, but they looked like tasteless mush. The pizzas were not pizzas. Small, with overcooked, low-end mozzarella, I'm still looking for the walnuts and gorgonzola that were listed on the menu... A kind of crust in short. We left everything and left. I strongly advise against it or sit at the wooden tables below, order a spritz and bring your picnic!

21/07/2025: Absolutely recommend it! If you're still considering going, you should go here. Super delicious, homemade, and authentic cuisine. The hosts are very personable and friendly. The starter, main course, and dessert were all fantastic.

14/07/2025: We were your guests on Tuesday, July 1st, for dinner. The house mixed antipasto was very greasy and disappointing. My son's pici with ragù was good but average, the tagliata al Morellino was very stringy, the service could be improved, and the olive oil on the table was subpar. Unfortunately, it was the worst restaurant we visited during our vacation. Did we find it a bad day? That's understandable. But we definitely came to you, especially after being recommended by friends in Marina di Grosseto.

11/05/2025: I went to Giannino's with about ten friends and the experience was excellent! Although the place is very simple and unpretentious, what we ate was delicious. Between Donatella's cuisine and Giannino's service, you can be sure of having an excellent, warm and welcoming dining experience. If I'm back in the area I will definitely stop by. The Osteria da Giannino warms the heart and makes the tummy happy!

10/08/2025: Well what can I say, I had always been to this restaurant until 2022 and I always had a good time... then tonight I returned and I found to my surprise several anomalies... slowness (more than an hour to eat), pizza not that great, exorbitant prices (75cc water 3 euros) never again!!!!

04/08/2025: Fantastic food, after ordering the chef came and showed the meat before cooking 👍🤩 then came a little starter which we could enjoy with a glass of wine, the house wine is fantastic by the way, we finished with a really good dessert, all in all an experience that deserves a good review and recommendation.
