02/07/2025: The two of us managed to get a table even without a reservation. The pizzas arrived quickly, were authentically Italian, and very tasty. The view of Roccastrada from the terrace is magnificent. You just have to wait a bit at the counter for the bill, as the pizzas had to come out of the oven first. 😉

12/05/2025: It wasn't a dinner but an amazing culinary experience... I ate very well... Starter "I wanted to be a tomato" which was fabulous, very high quality ingredients and 10/10 preparation... Every single detail was prepared and placed on the plate with care and professionalism and not by chance.... The second course had a strong and very intense taste as this type of meat preparation must be... Very clean and well looked after place, well stocked wine list and vast typology of wines... Daniele an excellent host a house that just by looking at it gives you confidence and you already understand what you are eating... Super highly recommended!!!!!

15/06/2025: La Pescaia Resort is such a special place where to get married. As photographer we’re totally in love with this amazing venue located in in the heart of the Maremma in Tuscany. It has a kind of wild, authentic soul that you just can't find everywhere. It's the kind of place that makes our job an absolute joy because its beauty is so natural and effortless. The grounds are a dream, couples can get married under these magnificent, centuries-old trees, the light that comes through them is pure magic, or with the beautiful, historic villa as their backdrop. Either way, it feels incredibly intimate and natural. And the evenings... wow. A reception dinner under the pergola, lit up with what seems like thousands of tiny lights and candles, is honestly one of the most romantic settings we've ever had the privilege to capture. It’s so peaceful, you're just surrounded by the sounds and scents of the Tuscan countryside. We can't recommend it enough and are always so excited when we get to return. 11/06/2025: ENVIRONMENT very welcoming, you feel at home. You can see the hand and the commitment of a woman. Too bad the outside veranda on the sidewalk, with the cars that pass in front of you. FOOD the quality is normal. Traditional dishes. PRICE slightly high for a restaurant in the country. SERVICE-BILL SORRY NOTE THE ATTITUDE OF THE CASHIER AND COVERED PAYMENT FOR A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD BECAUSE HE OCCUPY THE PLACE AT THE TABLE. (3 PLUS THE SEAT AT A TABLE FOR 2)

04/05/2025: Found it by chance: a beautiful place, lovely service and very good food that day (pheasant, wildach wine ragout, tripe). We only had antipasto and primo piatto (strozzapreti with wildach wine ragout, heavenly)

02/05/2025: We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, back then with parents as children, now with our own daughter and every visit is like coming home ❤ An absolute must visit during our Tuscany vacation. The restaurant is a family business and is lovingly run by Maurizio, his wife and their daughters. The drive to Sticciano is a bit winding and adventurous, but it is absolutely worth it! On the one hand, the view is simply breathtaking and the restaurant is lovely to sit in - the ambience is excellent! Now about the food: I can highly recommend the Crostini Misti as a starter! The paste is also excellent, we particularly liked the Gnocci ai Funghi and Gnocchi ai quattro Formaggi on our last visit. The pizza: I have eaten a lot of different pizzas in Italy and other countries. Maurizio's pizza IS and remains my number one favorite and the standard by which ALL other pizzas are measured. So far this pizza remains unmatched. The dough is thin and exactly how it should be - the cheese literally melts into the sauce, the topping is chosen just right, not too much, not too little - a dream! There won't be a visit to Tuscany where we don't stop by Maurizio. Greetings from Munich! ❤

26/04/2025: Un agriturismo curato nei minimi dettagli per quanto riguarda gli spazi e l'arredamento. Personale molto gentile e sorridente. Ottime pietanze con maiali di propria produzione e tante altre cibarie a km 0. Ottimo rapporto qualitá/ prezzo, ci insegna che ciò che é raffinato non é detto che debba costare di piú. Un posto dove ritornare

08/06/2025: We went on 06/08/2025 for lunch ... served old, hard products that were mentioned as fresh ... one of our guests returned the dish after having tasted it ... when we got home (there were three of us) we had lunch again at 3 pm ... we will not return ... I don't know why anyone had the courage to recommend it ...

11/05/2025: I went to Giannino's with about ten friends and the experience was excellent! Although the place is very simple and unpretentious, what we ate was delicious. Between Donatella's cuisine and Giannino's service, you can be sure of having an excellent, warm and welcoming dining experience. If I'm back in the area I will definitely stop by. The Osteria da Giannino warms the heart and makes the tummy happy!
