The staff are incredibly kind, humble, and smiling, with a rare desire to make their guests feel welcome. Even though we arrived near closing time, they welcomed us with kindness and attentiveness. Excellent food, carefully crafted dishes, and interesting off-menu options. A truly delightful experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and genuine hospitality.

02/08/2025: Ampia sala ben curata e con tavoli distanziati. Parcheggio ampio e riservato. Servizio cortese e professionale, ma comunque cordiale. Eccellente cucina toscana, con qualche spazio per quella romana. Da provare assolutamente l'uovo con il tartufo, uno dei migliori che abbia mangiato. Molto buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. 26/08/2025: Living in Pitigliano, I know the restaurant, which has been open for 20 years now, and every time I come, I'm always amazed by the quality of the dishes and the truly excellent, warm, professional, and never-intrusive service, both from the waiters and the very kind owners. If you're looking for traditional dishes, but also revisited and prepared in the finest possible way, you're in the right place. The Pan Brioche with liver pâté, truffle, and fig jam was exceptional (the best liver pâté I've had in Tuscany, where it's typical), the ignudi with truffle were made to perfection, not to mention the desserts and the truly impressive wine list. Last but not least, the location in the Piazza del Duomo, which remains intimate and very evocative, and the decor, which is elegant and understated. The prices are in line with everything offered. Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Pitigliano!

21/08/2025: We spent a few days in Pitigliano in August. My partner is vegetarian, and I usually avoid meat year-round to avoid eating at large retailers, but I wanted to try it here. We came across Hosteria di Pantalla at the recommendation of the nearby inn where we were staying. We recommend making a reservation: the first night we tried to go without a reservation, it was full, but by booking, we were able to dine there twice, as we had such a wonderful meal the first time. Silvia is wonderful—fun, welcoming, and professional, and excellent at suggesting what to order. The cuisine is excellent, with generous and high-quality appetizers, exceptional pici, and the rosemary tagliata is definitely the best I've ever eaten in my life. Since I don't eat much meat in general, it was a wonderful discovery. Living in Rome, it's worth the drive even just for a day trip!

01/08/2025: Trovato per caso è stata un' esperienza straordinaria, l'acquacotta è buonissima, genuina , delicatissima . Cucina di altri tempi fatta egregiamente dalla proprietaria che prende le ordinazioni , cucina i piatti e li serve a tavola . Claudia è una donna pazzesca, ti consiglia , ti spiega come fa i piatti e i dolci . Beh dovete venirci e provare e avere pazienza perché è sola ma ti coccola con il suo olio biologico da mettere sul pane e crea dipendenza. .Super Claudia eccezionale

30/07/2025: Un posto fantastico, si mangia benissimo! Ho ordinato la pasta e sembrava fatta in casa (probabilmente lo è), la signora è gentilissima e fa tutto, cucina, cassa e servizio a tavolo. Bisogna aspettare un po’ ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. E raro trovare un posto così che fa le cose “come una volta”. Non è un posto turistico ( si sente dalla qualità del cibo), ottimi i cantucci e la carne anche! Torneremo sicuramente!!

18/07/2025: This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. When you ask for spaghetti, they tell you to order picci pasta, which was supposedly homemade but unfortunately unsalted and still too hard. The service wasn't very good either, but maybe the waiters were having a bad day. We also had to wait quite a long time for everything except the bill.

15/08/2025: We had lunch here one night, the food was ok but we waited a lot to make the order and to get the food. The wine was cheap and good so thats a win.

29/06/2025: Delicious pizza, both in slices and in whole. I especially recommend the pizza alla pala on a board measuring approx. 30x100. You can choose 2 flavors. Straight from the oven and a short wait, about 5-10 minutes. It costs little for Italian prices because 18 euros, but we were full for a family of 5. In addition, you don't pay a tip per person. I highly recommend it, the best we have eaten so far while being in Italy.

30/08/2025: The sign is a bit hidden, but we found the restaurant via Google Maps. On a Sunday evening in August, there were no problems finding tables inside. The owner is courteous and eloquent in suggesting traditional local dishes. Without further ado, the food is good and the price is reasonable. The first courses are served with excellent sauces, and the second course is a top-quality Chianina beef with truffles. Feel free to try it.

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, I find myself having to advise against this place given my negative experience with the mediocre quality of the dishes I ordered, which didn't match the price paid. I don't recommend it.
