28/03/2025: Conosciamo questo ristorante da 40 anni, lo frequentavano i miei suoceri e noi continuiamo la tradizione. Il menù é quasi lo stesso da sempre ed é un piacere gustarlo ciclicamente (in particolare il giro di antipasti, ma anche la carne é buonissima). La proprietá é cordiale e la persona che serve si tavoli (sempre lo stesso da decenni) ancora di più. L’atmosfera, sopratutto in inverno al chiuso, é confortevole e intima, volume basso, luci soffuse, pochi tavoli, perfetto per un pubblico adulto senza bambini (un’oasi di pace per chi non ha figli). D’estate ha un cortile interno più ampio ma altrettanto piacevole. Speriamo ardentemente che rimanga sempre fedele a se stesso perché fa parte della nostra tradizione familiare. ❤️

I returned after many years and ate very poor quality food, couscous cooked probably 3 or 4 days before with smelly prawns and a mixed starter with nothing hot or with only the idea of ​​genuine, fresh fish! The brunette girl with curls particularly struck me with her attentive gaze on the room, very good! The food has both classic offerings but also very special proposals created by the owner! 23/03/2025: RE-EVALUATED What can I say, we haven't been there for about 2 months, we're changing our previous review: there's absolutely nothing bad to say about the food at this restaurant. IT'S ALL TOO GOOD. We went for dinner, a gigantic menu, perhaps even to the detriment of the kitchen that has to make various types and use so many ingredients. But some Rolls, they are FABULOUS. Here you just have to look carefully at the menu, because it's a bit scattered in its sections, which could also be grouped together for convenience. Yes, no way, Umai on food, the care of the rolls, always remains Umai. Good, tasty, varied, imaginative. It's impossible not to like them once you've found your favorites. When you find the gems, you never forget them. Personally, I love when they use lemon zest, a touch of class that is not obvious 🤤 The owner is always kind to us, so we really have nothing to complain about. Some useful tips: 1) Only one tablet per table is a bit inconvenient. There are now more practical systems, with QR codes and ordering via smartphone. There would be a need for modernization on this front. 2) At Umai you eat divinely and well, and of quality. But, I would say, try to go at times when there is not too much crowd. Otherwise it could be difficult to bring this quality to your table, and you risk the collapse of the service. We went at 8:00 pm, practically at opening and luckily there were not too many customers. This factor is important especially for the central lunch areas. 3) Yes, the cost can be a bit high, perhaps there could be concessions, for example increasing the cost on the weekend, and lowering it during. In short, balance everything. But when I bring you all the dishes, with that care, with that attention, you don't even look at the price anymore honestly. And whoever writes here is certainly not rolling in gold! :) Arigato!

05/04/2025: Unico alberghetto in località Ansedonia.Triste,anonimo e vecchio. Servizio svogliato privo di qualsiasi sorriso e lento.Il ristorante come sopra................poco meglio la pizzeria. Prezzi in linea con le aspettative. Unico nota positiva piccola terrazza affacciata sul mare.

17/03/2025: Unique place, surely in the past it must have had better experiences.. but it is better to leave it alone when you can't stand it anymore.. I understand the low season, and I would have understood the midweek closure, but if someone decides to stay open they must do it to the best of their ability. Dirt room full of cat hair, no menu offered, dishes available directly from the freezer recommended.. seafood salad defrosted and plated with tomato without even oil, paccheri with sea bass sauce fresh from the freezer, with the usual salad tomatoes from before and that's it.. reheated schiacciata and stale bread.. not even a very honest bill, as the 14 euros "cooked" expressed by the owner with a sweater full of cat hair seemed a bit excessive to me... in the end they even greeted us in the room the cats whose braids we had seen... I think the time has come to retire from the scene..

02/01/2025: Con alcune coppie di amici abbiamo deciso di trascorrere le nostre vacanze di Capodanno nella bellissima Maremma e proprio l’1 Gennaio facendo un giro dei ristoranti della zona ci siamo imbattuti nel ristorante di Antica Fattoria la Parrina, che dire? Cibo ottimo, personale disponibile , cordiale e sempre sorridente ad ogni nostra richiesta , unica pecca avremmo preferito mangiare nel loro giardino ma viste le basse temperature ci è stato detto che non era possibile , ci hanno però dato un buon tavolo nella veranda a vetri vista giardino. È stata una piacevole scoperta, torneremo sicuramente.

02/01/2025: Pietanze primi piatti e filetti di carne servite tutte fredde segnalata intolleranza all’aceto ma carne cruda servita con battuta di capperi e verdure piene di aceto inutile attesa per 4 caffe’ fine pasto non portati al tavolo ma messi in conto … una delusione enorme
