26/08/2025: Too bad...the atmosphere is really nice, right on the sea and beautifully decorated. The food was neither good nor bad. Nothing special despite the appealing menu. The risotto was disjointed and tasteless, and the pici seemed to be made with garlic instead of red crab, of which there were only a few claws. In short, it might be fine for tourists, but not for us... not to mention the waiter who coughed into his hand and then carried the cutlery by the tips. So, after our appetizer and main course, we left.
25/08/2025: Enchanting is the right word to describe this place! Excellent food, rich in colors and flavors! Excellent and courteous staff, unique location! Try it and believe it! A trained chef with a great team at her side! Highly recommended.

16/08/2025: The location is exceptional, but you can't choose your table, even if you book well in advance. The food was good, the service was friendly, but since there were multiple waiters, you occasionally had to ask for things again. All in all, a decent experience.

16/07/2025: We stopped at Bar Pierina for breakfast, and we had a great time!! I recommend trying the tuna, tomato, and mayonnaise sandwich...the quality of the tomatoes is excellent, I devoured it!! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, quick and thorough in explaining the types of products they sell! The outdoor seating near the port is lovely! Kudos to all the staff 👏!!

30/08/2025: An excellent restaurant accompanied us on our last evening at Giglio. The interior dining room is quiet and welcoming. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive to detail. The dishes are special, and you can taste the chef's passion. Highly recommended. The value for money is very good, especially considering the quality. It's a shame we didn't discover the restaurant until the very end.
28/08/2025: I can't remember the last time I ate fish this bad. The linguine with shrimp ragù was incredibly low-quality. The fish was almost nonexistent, the busque was bland, and the pasta mediocre...it seemed washed out. The gigli with Mediterranean pesto and tuna stew were horrible, the tuna tasteless, and the tomato puree (raw) dominated. The photo of the tuna with coconut and peppers was embarrassing; we thought it was a joke, in terrible taste. The best part was the bread and oil, which we asked for to soothe our stomachs before leaving.

18/08/2025: It didn't meet my expectations; I expected much better from what I'd heard. There's no love or even passion, in my opinion, either in the kitchen or in the dining room. Rather than a restaurant, I'd say it's a resale shop selling overpriced food. In my experience, I've noticed many mistakes, even trivial ones, dishes that aren't beautiful to look at, much less exciting to the palate; a dish sold for €21 has to be delicious to look at, and the ingredients have to be treated and showcased perfectly. What a shame.
16/08/2025: A good restaurant, good food, good service, fast enough to enjoy the dishes without getting bored, a cool place, at the top of the village, with a splendid view. In short, a restaurant like "once upon a time," without QR code menus and other nonsense. Maybe the lady at the reception/cash register could smile a little, but it's a good place.

11/08/2025: We stayed in this castle for a week and had a truly wonderful time:
Excellent cuisine, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location for reaching all the beaches.
Special mention for the friendliness, helpfulness, professionalism, and sincerity of his advice to our shuttle bus driver, Raji, to whom we send a big hug.
The island is a little gem to experience.

05/08/2025: Excellent shuttle service, excellent Ragi always kind and helpful, the rest leaves much to be desired: rooms too small, the bed practically attached to the wall, dirty walls with rust/mold, a paint job would be enough, bathroom with broken shower door, linens anything but white had several dirt stains from previous guests, the room had a door that led onto a shared terrace having the emergency door that they continually opened for other guests to hang out their washing, moving our personal items among other things and with 0 privacy, all this at €210 a night seems excessive to me for what is offered, honestly I expected much better or at least not this neglect and this disgrace.

28/07/2025: uno dei migliori ristoranti che ho provato all'isola del giglio. Molto bella la location con una terrazza vista golfo e tramonto spettacolare. Personale molto disponibile e discreto. Servizio veloce e soprattutto ottima cucina, sia nei piatti di mare che di terra ed eccellenti dolci.
28/07/2025: Secondo la nostra esperienza, è il miglior ristorante del Giglio! Terrazzo panoramico meraviglioso, menù ricercato ma fedele alla tradizione con ottima ricerca e cura della materia prima. Prezzi più che onesti in base alla proposta. Complimenti anche per il servizio molto curato, professionale ma allo stesso tempo simpatico e familiare.

14/06/2025: Posto eccezionale!! Si trova proprio dentro le mura di Giglio Castello e mi ha colpito per la professionalità e cordialità del personale, sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti.
Pizze buonissime e location suggestiva, immersa tra i vicoli! Tornerò sicuramente!

We've been there once and have been back again.
The atmosphere is simple and familiar. Service is very fast.
The price/quality ratio is excellent.
The sfogliatella is also worth trying.
20/07/2025: Very good pizza, a tradition for us every summer. The real gem, Lo Sfilatino, is a must. Friendly and courteous staff, and the outdoor garden allows you to enjoy the cool summer breeze of Giglio. See you next year, approved.

15/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant located on the beach of Giglio Porto, not far from the port of Giglio Island. We had a delicious mussels with pepper sauce as an appetizer and paccheri with swordfish and eggplant as a main course, and I must say, everything was truly excellent! The mascarpone with biscotti and macchiato were also delicious! The staff is friendly and professional, perhaps the only slightly negative thing is the enormous number of wasps surrounding you while you're eating. However, a waiter informed us that Giglio Island has been infested with a huge number of wasps this year, and a disinfestation program is underway to address this situation. Kudos to the entire staff!

23/07/2025: Sinceramente?? Non mi è piaciuto niente di questo posto….mi è sembrato molto scarso di staff responsabile e brava praticamente ho messo 2 stelle solo per la bellissima location stupenda e davanti al mare..mi dispiace
20/07/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante ben due volte ..la cena del primo giorno e il pranzo della partenza . Nessuna delusione: Location praticamente sulla spiaggia , buoni piatti a base di pesce , servizio ottimo . Torneremo

Ma questo poco male "dai siamo in vacanza"! Mai viste persone così sgarbate, maleducate e grette! Da evitare come la peste!
11/06/2025: Small, very clean pastry shop/bar, where everything is fresh, made with care and craftsmanship. Excellent for breakfast in the morning, because even the cappuccino and coffee are made with care, ideal for taking a sweet home in the evening.
