25/08/2025: A gem in a beautiful city. Close to the heart of Florence with the beauty and calmness of the countryside. Service was excellent, staff were friendly, every need anticipated. The food, the room, the courtyard, the pool, all well designed and convenient. Beautiful location. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Recommended by a friend.
19/08/2025: It initially feels small, especially the room and the pool. However, the personal touch of the staff and the small scale of the hotel ensure you truly relax. The staff is exceptionally friendly and provides everything you need and more. For example, we received fresh towels in the room several times a day, there was always fresh water available, and so on. Every detail is taken care of. Add to that an exceptionally beautiful view of Florence from the hill, and your holiday is complete. We would 100% recommend Vila Fiesole and look forward to returning.

06/07/2025: Evening with friends, stop on the path of the Gods, a spectacular Florentine steak, it melted like butter. Too bad it's far from home.
04/07/2025: We went there three times in one week because we loved it so much. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. The food is delicious and well-presented. Don't hesitate to ask for advice, as portion sizes vary greatly depending on the dish.

The service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly. The atmosphere was a bit hard to describe—a bit too stately, but not formal either.

23/08/2025: We went for dinner. We were the only customers that evening, so when we walked in, we weren't sure if it was open. The bread was excellent, and the free tasting was also very special. We only ordered the monkfish, which is the first item on the main course menu. We were disappointed because it was clearly unevenly cooked: some parts were soft, others tough and undercooked. Furthermore, the sauce had clearly been added afterward, so the fish itself lacked much flavor. The service was courteous and quick, and the digestion was without any problems. We admired the paintings in the room, which give a special touch to the atmosphere.

06/08/2025: Sono una cliente storica del ristorante. Questa sera a cena ho trovato tutto il personale nuovo.
Ho ordinato le lasagne e mi è arrivato un piatto pieno di sugo con una fetta da meno di mezza porzione. I prezzi sono aumentati, la qualità del cibo è diminuita, il servizio scadente è poco attento. Tempi di attesa molto più lunghi che in passato. Come distruggere il mito di una trattoria in una cena... Assolutamente sconsigliato.
06/08/2025: Cena domenica d'agosto. Serata fresca, ambiente esterno piacevole. Due primi di buona qualità, quindi morbide scaloppine e croccante coniglio fritto. Per non farci mancare niente un bel tiramisù. Acqua vinodella casa e caffè , conto poco più di 70 euro. Servizio attento e cordiale. Bella serata

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa.
I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments.
I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality!
I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

29/08/2025: The pizza isn't anything special, and the outdoor seating is nice, as long as they don't put you at a table in the flowerbed, literally on the ground. The real sore point is the owner, who's unfriendly and rude to customers; it feels like you're spiteful to her by eating there. Plus, the service is excruciatingly slow because the owner delivers the takeout pizzas first and serves
the customers at the tables last.
25/08/2025: Got a table on Saturday evening without a reservation. The worst of all, even though almost all the tables were free.
Ordering was quick.
You could watch the pizza oven and pizza chef at work.
The ordered pizzas were on the table within about 5 minutes.
Just as it should be. The pizzas were delicious, and the price was right. I didn't tip for two Copertos at €2.50 each.

Cutlery prices were excessive (€3.50)!!! The food was just plain and the service was lacking. You were eating and there were two waiters smoking 10 meters away. I'm not saying they don't smoke, but they should move further away and pay attention to the tables.
31/08/2025: We truly enjoyed the restaurant’s ambiance, enhanced by tasteful décor. The food was fresh and of high quality, and despite the restaurant being very busy, the waiting time was quite reasonable. Prices were a little on the higher side, but overall the experience was worthwhile
