They don't have draft beer.
11/07/2025: Excellent value for money. The owner is very kind; I really appreciated her attention to detail, first in advising me, then in satisfying me. This is my second visit, but I'll definitely be back.

13/04/2025: Really lovely noodles. I wouldn't necessarily call it ramen nor was your favorite Japenese uncle consulted for his recipe when it was made😅 nonetheless, VERY good and full of flavor. As if Chinese noodles married Vietnamese influence and produced this amazing dish. For starters, we had the edamame which was a pretty small portion for the price and the pork gyoza, which were handmade and freshly pan-fried accompanied with ponzu dipping sauce. The noodle soup had very succulent and flavorful pork accompanied with perfectly cooked noodles and a perfectly cooked ramen egg. The broth was rich and we asked for "medium" spice which was perfect to add the reminder that spice was there without it overwhelming the dish. Great place and would definitely come back :)

20/05/2025: Pleasant and unexpected surprise. Bar with succulent proposals of sandwiches and focaccias also stuffed on the spot.
Not just the usual brioches, but tasty stuff and local cold cuts.
I slept nearby in a b&b during a motorcycle trip and found the place by chance.
Sooner or later I might come back here again..

04/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati nel tragitto Roma - Milano. Comodissimo perché all’uscita dell’autostrada, in centro storico ma con parcheggio facile nelle vie adiacenti. Cucina di qualità con una buona scelta e anche alcuni piatti fuori menù. Porzioni molto abbondanti. Prezzi onesti! Servizio rapido e molto attento.
08/04/2025: L'esperienza in questa osteria è stata davvero sublime, ci siamo stati casualmente e si è rivelato talmente piacevole che siamo tornati anche la sera seguente.
Il locale è molto accogliente, nonostante la vicinanza alla cucina, non arrivano odori sgradevoli e non manca la pulizia delle salette.
Il personale ci ha accolti calorosamente e ci ha seguito per tutta la serata con attenzione e spiegando ogni dubbio riguardo i piatti.
Il cibo era buonissimo, tutto condito e cotto a dovere senza che prevalessero i sapori gli uni su gli altri (d'obbligo i loro dolci!)
Il prezzo delle pietanze lo trovo più che giusto, data anche la posizione centrale a San Giovanni.
Tutto assolutamente da provare e da fare il bis! Torneremo sicuramente

We ate an excellent and abundant fried food. Average prices. Good value for the quality of the food.
The interior of the restaurant is very nice even if we ate outside given the hot period.

Considering that it is absolutely not a tourist place, (and therefore fortunately quiet) they are really good.
Excellent cuisine: few dishes, very well cared for and with top quality raw materials.
Good wine cellar too.
The six of us, dead tired, made a big mess with the order and they, all splendid.
Fede, very nice.
I would like to go back.

30/01/2025: The Bar Pasticceria Sgambato is always a confirmation!! Its artisanal leavened products are exceptional and have more than abundant fillings... the excellent quality coffee and the extra cappuccino!!
In short, you couldn't start the day better..

21/06/2025: New and very nice place, I went there for a drink, excellent selection of spirits, sometimes I found live music, a place that I feel like recommending.
21/06/2025: I can't give more than 2 stars... the big guy who "welcomed" me in the external branch (the kiosk of the former newsstand) was too rude. The guy inside was kind, welcoming, but he was sweating for three... thank goodness he washed his hands often (the minimum!!!). Luckily I'm not a big bar-goer... otherwise I would have trouble going back.
P.S.: the idea of the (quality) ice cream delivered from Florence in the wells was spot on. The 2 stars are only for that... otherwise I would have given less, or I would have refrained from reviewing.

09/03/2025: A historic, typical and very well-kept Sangiovannese bar located in the main square of this beautiful town which is recognized as the birthplace of Masaccio. There are large internal and external rooms that overlook the Palazzo d'Arnolfo, the focal point of the entire historic centre, in fact it is the most representative building of the city and perhaps of the entire Upper Valdarno, a certainly suggestive reason to have a nice aperitif on one of the many well-arranged tables made available at Caffè Fiorenza. This business offers many services and has a large menu of both general foods and cafeterias, worth mentioning are the excellent drinks.
Advised? Absolutely YES.
01/01/2025: We stopped in this bar and enjoyed a nice service at the counter and an excellent coffee. As for the croissants, although varied and beautiful to look at, there were only the frozen ones, too bad.
