05/03/2026: Cabin-style atmosphere, very welcoming, the owner very friendly and helpful, excellent quality beer (on tap)

27/10/2025: This morning I went in with my husband for breakfast, everything was excellent, the special thing about this bar is the writings on the walls and the blackboards, I didn't take a photo of all of them but I'm still laughing

20/10/2025: Dinner with my wife, we ordered two plates of tortelli with meat sauce, both satisfying, a pork shank with fries, a dish so large we ate it for two and truly delicious, as were the fries, a medium draft beer and a small, excellent quality beer, and a coffee to finish the meal. All for less than forty euros, unbelievable. I forgot to mention that to pass the time for the first course, they bring a bag of piping hot schiacciata pieces. The staff is very professional and courteous.

26/09/2025: Best brewery in Casentino (and beyond), wide selection of beers. Menu featuring local ingredients, combining quantity and great quality. Vegetarian menu available. You can't miss this place!!! Friendly, courteous, and professional staff.

28/09/2025: Much more than a bar, this is a place of culture and entertainment. You can relax, read a book, listen to music, look at old photographs. Even sip a cappuccino in the company of the cat, who, elegantly, barely raises his eyes. A surprising place not to be missed if you're wandering around these parts.

17/08/2025: Terrible. A desolate, deserted bar. The only woman at the bar charged us €30 for a pre-cooked focaccia, a glass of prosecco, and a juice. Knowing we were tourists... it's a shame I'm a regular in these areas, and thanks to people like that, people don't visit places like this anymore.

23/09/2025: Passing through Ponte a Poppi, on the advice of some local guys, we stopped for dinner and we were very satisfied.

02/09/2025: Very cosy place, for a fast Snack of great pizza. You have the option of slice of fresh whole pizza. Both options are great. The soft drinks and water are really priced reasonably.

03/02/2026: Restaurant located in Moggiona, IL PAESE DEI BIGONAI, a delightful discovery, which I booked from home because I was looking for exactly that type of restaurant. The atmosphere is informal, like at home, like my grandmother's house, just how I like it, and the atmosphere would be 5 stars too—for my taste, that is. The Michelin Guide has awarded this restaurant a Bib Gourmand as a trattoria for several years. These are quality restaurants, but more informal than the starred ones, and they stand out for their good value. A warm welcome, and the dishes are explained with passion. We had a wonderful time. Traditional dishes, even off-menu ones, Like the ACQUACOTTA DI MOGGIONA (different from the Maremmana and without eggs). I highly recommend the homemade tortelli filled with the characteristic local potato. My husband was thrilled to eat their rabbit in porchetta, just like his mother used to make. The vegetable dishes are excellent 💚 The town of Moggiona has a very active local tourist board and offers a variety of activities. Take a day to visit the Bigonaio Shop, the Resistance Museum, and the Wolf Museum. All within the Casentino Forest Park. 10/10/2025: Amazing restaurant! Owned by an amazing woman, a first-class hostess

12/02/2026: Atrocious attitude.. we walked in, sat down and were waiting for over 20 minutes to be served, only to realize, everybody else will be served ahead of us. We got up and walked out. The woman owner simply doesn't care much for foreigners, so she rather serve all the Italians first. Worse attitude we ever got in Italy.
