06/07/2025: A stop on our sailing experience was the island of Levanzo after a walk around the island and an unforgettable sunset at the Faraglioni, recommended by our captain we dine at this restaurant and what can I say… the welcome, the food and the flavours were unique, the exquisite fish of a freshness that I hadn’t seen for years, the unique flavours that I won’t easily forget, everything excellent, more than positive rating. Definitely stop by here.
05/07/2025: A place overlooking a paradise like this doesn't deserve such a neglected environment and such a filthy floor.

We had the tuna and pistachio sandwich and it was delicious!
29/05/2025: We asked for a plate of food from the counter and we paid 30 euros per person for a plate of ready-made food. We were not told the price per kilo, and we were served more food than we asked for, ending up paying an outrage. 30 euros for a plate of baked potatoes, caponata, salad and baby girl fritters. A disgrace for those who have been coming to the island for more than 20 years, a real joke.

04/05/2025: Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Favignana. We would have liked to have lunch in the garden, but they were still setting it up for the summer season. Kind and attentive staff.
We were two couples with a 9 month old baby and me pregnant and vegetarian. They were all kind and available to welcome us at 2pm and pamper us with their delicacies.
Busiate spectacular Odissy! Also recommended are busiate with pistachio pesto and shrimp. Highly recommended!
21/04/2025: Fantastic tuna meatballs, delightful hospitality and a truly comfortable environment. Super recommended for those who want to have lunch or dinner in Favignana while spending the right amount with very high quality. 5 stars deserved.

07/06/2025: Quando leggi certe recensioni del passato, poi chiedi il motivo e capisci che la gestione era diversa. È tornata la vecchia gestione e abbiamo passato una serata perfetta, coordinata da un ristoratore che ci mette il cuore...e si vede.

Proprietario eatremamente gentile, ci ha portato a casa dopo cena, dopo aver saputo che avevamo forato la ruota dello scooter.

09/04/2025: I am a fan of pizza with mortadella. I've eaten loads of them, but I assure you that never and I mean never have I ever eaten such tasty mortadella, it reminded me of the sandwiches that the 25-year-old shop made when I went to primary school.

Ma la mia preferita è quella mangiata durante una vacanza lo scorso anno. Quel salume mi ha portato indietro nel tempo l, a 25 anni fa, quando andavo ogni mattina in bottega per prendere il mio panino con MORTADELLA prima di andare a scuola

12/06/2025: Returned after about 10 years.
Located in a historic residence, it is very well kept.
The management changed a few months ago.
They are willing. Except for a small mix-up, which was immediately resolved, everything is fine.
We were half board. They no longer offer catering, and rely on the La Corte restaurant, located a few steps away, for breakfast and dinner. The latter was the real surprise. The managers Gino and Simona make you feel at home, always available.
And then the cuisine. Gino is passionate and offers, recommending, truly high-level, gourmet dishes. Well done.

22/04/2025: Grazie ai nuovi proprietari Alina e Alberto, il Pirata si è trasformato in un ristorante di altissimo livello, dove il pesce fresco ne è il protagonista principale. Materie prime di altissima qualità, cucinate sapientemente come la vera tradizione marettimara merita. Un plauso va anche a tutti i collaboratori, attenti, ma soprattutto veloci nel servizio. Torneremo sicuramente!

Pesce più che fresco, cucinato in modo esemplare con semplicità e ricercatezza,
La stessa dei cura dettagli dovuta all'estro creativo e femminile di Alina, la proprietaria che con grinta e disponibilità riesce ad accoglierti come a pochi ho visto fare insieme ad Alberto, suo marito isolano di nascita, ricercato e attento che con passione coniuga il suo ruolo di ristoratore a quello primordiale di pescatore attento e appassionato.
Se avrete la fortuna di approdare tra le braccia di Marettimo, fermatevi al Pirata e non perdete per niente al mondo quest'esperienza di grande impatto qualitativo.

04/07/2025: Small place, delicious food and friendly and helpful staff.
We had dinner taking first courses, both very good with fresh fish. I recommend it to those who want to eat good fish, enjoy the view of the statue of Ignazio Florio and his square but above all to those who want to eat well without having to pay exorbitant costs!
01/06/2025: Eliminatelo dai vostri itinerari non c'è nulla che valga la pena di fermarsi.il sauté di cozze era senza cozze ( ovverlo gusci vuoti) l'olio forse era quello delle auto.tagliolini all'astice che tutto sapevano anziché di astice.un olio pessimo

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Piatti deliziosi, ben presentati e preparati con ingredienti di qualità. Il menù offre una buona varietà e ogni portata è stata un piacere per il palato. Il personale è stato cortese, attento e sempre disponibile. L’ambiente è curato e rilassante, perfetto per una serata tranquilla. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo volentieri!

The place is beautiful, on the sea.
The service is more than excellent, the waiters are super helpful, very kind.
Perfect timing.
And then the food... perfection.
Those ravioli 'Al pirata' were poetry, with an excellent range of wines.
Excellent experience that I recommend to everyone!
27/06/2025: [The girl where we booked the room told us that it changed management this summer] We didn't like almost anything: waiters not even remotely interested in you who only bring the dishes and listlessly and disinterestedly ask you how it went only when you go to pay the bill, a menu that despite being fixed for the whole summer (and it's not clear why since fresh fish on an island is not always the same...) is displayed via an obnoxious QR code, the worst caponata eaten in Sicily, and yes it's true that it's right by the sea, but the location is nothing special. An extra star only for the coral-colored tuna carpaccio.

10/07/2025: Amidst the chaos of Favignana, I arrived in the square for dinner and found this restaurant that I already knew well as a bar. The girl at the cash register, who I later discovered was the wife of one of the owners, was very kind and invited us to sit down. The result? A magnificent dinner; everything was truly delicious, especially the very fresh fish. The appetizers and first courses were excellent. There was only a small problem at the beginning, because we had to change tables and one waitress, perhaps not appreciative, saw it. I don't like certain ways of doing things, and I was about to leave, but the prompt and correct intervention of the owner immediately solved the problem. So much so that the same person made up for the initial shortcoming during the evening. Recommended, and worth trying! Well done.
