26/08/2025: We arrived at 7:00 PM (opening time) and found it closed. We waited until 7:30 PM, and it remained closed. No, it wasn't their closing day. I would have liked to rate it for the food 🤷🏻‍♀️

02/09/2025: Perfect for a sunset aperitif on Cala del Pozzo. An enchanting atmosphere, where you can enjoy the sunset on comfortable sofas. We (two of us) went for aperitifs: an excellent selection of wines and cocktails. A platter of meats is available, but we opted for arancini and patate vastase (highly recommended!). Generous portions, perfect for sharing. The staff was courteous and attentive.

14/08/2025: Just steps from the center of Favignana, Zanzibar is the restaurant recommended to me by the guy at our bed and breakfast. The seafood is top-notch, and the busiate with Trapani pesto is simply heartwarming—one of those dishes that stays in your heart and makes you dream of returning. The service is handled by incredibly kind young people. We'd love to see you in Milan! 💕

31/08/2025: A terrible experience, not because of the food but because of the behavior. On the last night of my vacation, I booked a table for four people two days in advance, specifying that I would arrive at 8:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM (they offer two seatings, the first at 8:00 PM and the second at 10:00 PM). They asked me and gave them my cell phone number in case they needed to make any changes. I showed up regularly at the scheduled time of 8:30 PM and discovered that my table had been given away for a no-show at 8:15 PM. They didn't even call to confirm my arrival. They then asked me to come back in half an hour, and I reluctantly agreed to wait until 9:10 PM (despite having two girls under 14), when they gave me a table inside in a cramped, isolated room next to the kitchen and the cash register. Outside, empty tables were waiting for customers at 9:30 PM (a different time than usual). I gave up my table and left disappointed by the rude and dismissive attitude of the staff. Given the situation, although they apologized, they were careful to escort me out so as not to create any embarrassing situations inside the restaurant (I would never have caused a scene, but their behavior was clearly intended to prevent one). The restaurant is popular in Favignana, but their professional behavior probably doesn't live up to the good food they offer. A very negative experience.

02/09/2025: Under new ownership, it has returned to its original status as a true pizzeria, after being closed and transformed into a bakery during COVID. I must say, the pizza is as good as ever, and the staff is even friendlier. It was definitely worth a visit. If I died tomorrow, at least I would have eaten at the best and most honest pizzeria in Favignana! The owners are like true friends! Although it's a bit hidden, a very short walk, less than 5 minutes from the town square, takes you 20 meters to the best pizzeria in all of Sicily! If you're in the Aegadian Islands, you have to stop by!

19/06/2025: We stayed with the family (2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 12) for 5 days. Super positive experience, clean environment, absolutely kind and helpful staff. Daniele called us as soon as we got off the hydrofoil to ask if he could help us with a ride to the hotel even though the structure is a few hundred meters from the port. Stefano, in addition to being an exquisite and helpful person, is an expert on the island so you can ask for any information. This structure is a guarantee, very close to the center so convenient for everything.

27/08/2025: A top-notch restaurant! We returned two nights in a row because the dishes were truly exceptional. Everything was delicious, but the cheesecake is absolutely worth trying: spectacular! The owner is incredibly kind, and the waiters are always smiling and helpful. A truly pleasant experience, highly recommended!

We had delicious and tender split mussels, exceptional catch of the day, Sicilian sushi, tuna tartare, tuna croquettes, grilled octopus, and bruschetta with red shrimp tartare, accompanied by excellent local wine (see photo). Highly recommended.
