21/01/2025: Nothing happens by chance...! That Sunday we had to go to another place but a detour due to work took us towards Piana degli Albanesi, a town that I have always wanted to visit but had never managed. Finding ourselves there and as a celiac it's always a dilemma to be able to eat out, instead I find myself calling this place where I'm told it's gluten-free. Believe me, however, I could never imagine being able to take a "journey through flavours"! First of all, a very welcoming and well-kept place, professional and kind staff, and then the attention in explaining the various courses was very important. Then the menu and the surprise of discovering that you can order anything the same as the others in the gluten-free version is priceless!🥰 The first was with beef sauce, but "Beef Sauce", as the cooking for 6 hours and the addition of enough cocoa and cinnamon gave that unique and particular taste, the top moment was the choice of the pasta format , usually I have to settle for the usual penne, but here I was able to choose between various formats and brands known in the gluten-free sector for the characteristics of the pasta, I chose the ridged shells, a perfect combination with the sauce , the very tender pieces of meat, it must be said that this dish could already be a first and second course together but we also ordered the second course, a grilled meat consisting of sliced ​​beef, lamb ribs and sausage with a side of potatoes. Super good!😉 Then last but not least, the gluten-free desserts, I opted for the decomposed cannoli with citrus ricotta. What can I say? If you don't go and try you will miss out on a delicious experience 💯💯💯💯 I can't wait to go back 😘😘😘😘 greetings from Marsala

30/01/2025: Ottimo Panificio, dove poter gustare Pane tradizionale (fantastico), prodotti da forno, dolci e i famosi cannoli di Piana degli Albanesi.

28/12/2024: La piana della bontà e un panificio di ultima generazione,che oltre a vendere prodotti tipici del posto, realizza pane di altri luoghi. In prevalenza vende pane realizzato con farine antiche e con il lievito madre, con lunga lievitazione. Oltre a vedere pane biscotti pizza e altri prodotti tipici di Piana, effettua ottimi dolci fra qui anche il cannolo di ricotta e la casatta di ricotta. Si trova all'inizio del paese e precisamente ad angolo con la fine della strada che viene da Altofonte e la strada vicina la Guardia medica. Contrada ponte Rosso.

20/01/2025: A perfect lunch at Matteo's! We just met Matteo who let us taste his wonderful cuisine and we were enchanted by everything. We will return as soon as possible. Absolutely worth the trip. From the wine to the dessert everything was impeccable. Highly recommended! In the photos: first fried salt 10/10, ricotta and spinach tortelli with wild boar ragù and the other with butter and sage 10/10, space bread and ricotta 10/10, and fried dessert with ricotta (cassatella style) 10 /10. Everything incredible!

17/01/2025: Been there many times since 2000. Unchanged and always excellent, fresh, friendly and authentic. Can be busy so either side of peak is recommended. Take a Prestia and Commande bus from Palermo station arrive 13-30 and depart 16-00 ish. One minute walk to the restaurant. Take a walk around the village afterwards!

10/12/2024: Pranzo di famiglia. Atmosfera molto bella. Posto caldo ( all’infuori dei bagni) e spazioso. Cameriere scortese. Uno che ti risponde “tanto lo stipendio, a fine mese, mi arriva lo stesso” è davvero di una scortesia incredibile. Antipasto: sautè. Molto buono anche se pienissimo di cicale e poca sostanza. Pasta e secondo davvero povero nella quantità. Prezzo concordato compreso di vino e poi si fanno pagare una bottiglia in più. Ti lascio più di 800 euro e ti confondi per 8 euro di vino. Mah! Dolci? I cannoli erano pure finiti… quantomeno non erano per tutti. Peccato, l’impressione iniziale era buona… ma alcuni passaggi sono stati davvero molto discutibili. Non ci andremo più
