27/09/2025: Typical and welcoming place. Quick and friendly staff and service. Disappointing food. Sardine meatballs with a coarse and poorly mixed mixture, the sardines were not boned. Fried food was greasy and salty. Too bad.

19/10/2025: Walked up without booking for Sunday lunch 6 adults 4 children. Went out of their way set up some tables outside. Lovely food at very reasonable place. Family run including the 11 year old Francesco who was the consummate waiter.

The real highlight, however, is the owner: kind, welcoming, and always ready to make you feel at home. 09/12/2025: During our trip to Palermo, my boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here, and we couldn't have made a better choice. I learned about the restaurant through the Michelin guide, and I must say it more than lived up to its star. I also had the pleasure and honor of chatting with the chef and the waiter who served us (who made our evening even more special). Hearing the passion in their words was truly moving. The dishes were meticulously prepared and presented exceptionally. I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future. In the meantime, thank you for the evening.

The food is distinguished by the high quality of the cuisine and the meticulous selection of locally sourced, carefully selected and top-quality ingredients. The only slight disappointment, not attributable to the impeccable management, concerns the careless behavior of some customers with their children.

18/01/2026: As an Australian who has recently relocated to the area, finding Trattoria Don Ciccio has been a real gift. I’ve eaten here regularly, and every single visit delivers the same result: a perfect meal and genuinely warm, attentive service. The menu is simple, but that’s exactly where the magic lies — everything is done exceptionally well, with a level of consistency that’s honestly rare. The involtini are without doubt the best in the Palermo area — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and exactly how they should be. My advice: stick with the traditional Sicilian house wine. It pairs beautifully with the food and completes the experience. And the tiramisu? Absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best I’ve ever had and the perfect way to end the meal. Food and service: 100 out of 10. A true local gem that never disappoints.

08/12/2025: A restaurant that never disappoints. Upon arrival, they offer you a small sample accompanied by a glass of prosecco. The pizza is delicious, made with quality ingredients; the Bagherese sfincione is a delight. The atmosphere is simple and elegant. The service is professional and attentive. Nancy, the waitress, was very professional and kind.

Today I have the pleasure of talking about a place close to my heart, the VintiReci restaurant-pizzeria, an intriguing bistro that reflects the personality of its owner, Massimo, and local specialties. Massimo is a true master of the house, the perfect combination of host and chef. While he's the expert in the dining room and kitchen, in the realm of leavened goods—namely, His Majesty, pizza—Ninni is the connoisseur. His youth, passion for his work, and ongoing research into flours, blends of flavors, ingredients, and doughs, are his winning features. All this is enhanced by their expertise and kindness, for an experience that makes you feel at home, or even better. As a regular, I can only conclude by highly recommending this gem.

When I asked about a particular flavor, the sales assistant not only responded enthusiastically, but also offered me a sample to help me choose. 13/09/2025: A very cute, modern ice cream shop. I asked the girl serving me about a flavor. She promptly grabbed a spoonful and I tried it. I really appreciated the girl's kindness and the flavor of the ice cream. A place where the pistachio tastes like pistachio. Very good, highly recommended.

Outdoor seating in the summer, and a spacious dining room inside. A quiet and relaxing atmosphere, this is undoubtedly the right choice for those who don't want the chaos of trendy venues. We celebrated a 16th birthday; the table was for seven guests who chose their favorite appetizer, pizza, and soft drink. The cake was brought by us but served at the table by the staff. The bill? A pleasant surprise, more than reasonable. An experience to repeat.

17/08/2025: Super nice place... The staff is friendly but above all professional. We ordered two pizzas and in less than 5 minutes they were on the table, delicious and especially rich in toppings. What can I say!!!! The best in Bagheria... Compliments to the owner, a super kind person.
