09/05/2024: Pier De Cat is a little cafe in a beautiful setting, overlooking Taormina, and worth the trip. The owner was very nice and made excellent recommendations. The food is very reasonably priced, and was the best lasagna and Arancini I have had. The almond wine is phenomenal and very unique. Highly recommend going to Castelmola just to visit this amazing restaurant.
06/05/2024: Great wine, beautiful views, delicious snacks, good prices - and great owner/service. It is worth trying almond wine, you can also buy it on site.

09/05/2024: We had dinner in this beautiful, somewhat rustic location. We ate very well, the swordfish skewers recommended by the lady were delicious as was the almond semifreddo.

05/04/2024: A specific atmosphere in the cult of masculinity. There are crowds inside, with distinctive groups of tourists trying to take the most embarrassing photo with a phallus. Due to the crowds, the service is slow, so you have to be patient while waiting for your order. This time can be spent admiring the decor or the beautiful views outside. However, the place stands out among other places in the region.

05/05/2024: sono stata a pranzo con mio marito in una giornata piovosa.. i camerieri sono disponibili e gentili, però il locale nn è abbastanza pulito, ci hanno fatto accomodare in un tavolo dove c'erano le briciole di chi prima di noi aveva pranzato.. ho dovuto chiedere che mi venisse cambiata la tovaglia... capisco che lavorino parecchio col turista, ma un minimo di igiene ci deve essere.. nn consiglio questo locale
21/04/2024: Caféen ligger med den mest fantastiske udsigt lige når man kommer til torvet i Castelmola. De serverer verdens bedste semifreddo (prøv både med mandler og pistacie) og nyd den med den lokale mandelvin (Vino alla Mandorla “Il Blandanino”) så bliver det ikke bedre. Super sødt personale

31/10/2023: Abgesehen von der großartigen Lage ist dies einfach ein vorzügliches Restaurant.
Typisch sizilianische Gerichte, sehr reichliche Portionen, wirklich guter und günstiger Haus - Wein, sehr freundlicher und perfekter Service .
Hier stimmt einfach alles.

17/03/2024: Sono stato alla Caverna fino Marzo con amici.Era la prima volta che venivo qui!La bellezza del luogo mi ha colpito profondamente!È un locale troppo troppo bello!!!! Semplicemente unico!!!!! Fa sia da ristorante che da pizzeria con forno a legna.Io ho ordinato uno squisito tagliere di prodotti tipici siciliani,salumi e formaggi!Tutto squisito!Personale cordialissimo,gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni mia esigenza!Spero di tornarci prestissimo e lo consiglio a tutti!
17/03/2024: Posto davvero incantevole!In un attimo ci si trova all'interno di un'antica roccia del borgo medievale di Castelmola!Tutto è curato nei miei dettagli:le luci,gli addobbi,i tavolini,le sedie,i bicchieri,i piatti!Persino la baugeur del tavolino a forma di bottiglia oppure il sapone delle mani a forma di brandy!Tutto è curatissimo!La proprietaria Maria è davvero dolce e disponibile!Ho mangiato la migliore insalata di polipo di sempre! Davvero ottima!La mia amica ha preso invece un'insalatona di pollo grigliato,rucola, pomodorini,scaglie di grano, davvero impeccabile! Tornerò presto perché non vedo l'ora di assaggiare le altre specialità del locale!Consiglio a tutti questo pub perché è assolutamente uno dei locali migliori della zona di Taormina!

25/09/2023: Sonntagmittag auf der wirklich schönen Terrasse als Familie wirklich sehr lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Es kamen immer mehr Gäste, der einzige Kellner nahm zwar gehetzt die Bestellungen auf-Essen wurde aber frühestens nach einer Stunde gebracht. Auch Getränkewünsche wurden nicht mehr nachgefragt.
Meine Pizza war essbar, verursachte aber am Abend deutliche Übelkeit.
Wirklich freundlich war in diesem Lokal niemand, alle wirkten gehetzt und genervt. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für die schöne Terrasse!

13/05/2024: Pizza bad made from frozen dough, Pizza was meant to be 9€ but was 10€ coperto 6€ came out 29 € for 2 Pizzas and 2 drinks. Rude service. Only plus was nice view.
