02/09/2025: A little gem. Even though it is right in the middle of all of Castelmola, it is quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic view of the mainland. The host couple are extremely friendly and happy to tell you about things. The food was lovely and fresh. Wine was lovely in half and full liters. All in all a fantastic experience

01/09/2025: During our three-day stay in Castelmola, we had breakfast here every day and can wholeheartedly recommend it. We've rarely met such a friendly, unobtrusive, and helpful owner. The food is simple but truly delicious. There are great savory paninis and sandwiches, and a fantastic granita with brioche. We'd love to come back, and a visit to PierdeCat is a must during any stay in Castelmola!

12/07/2025: Turrisi Bar is a must-visit for both Castelmola and Taormina. Anyone visiting these parts, even for just a day, can't miss it. It's unique inside and has a breathtaking view outside. The service is excellent, and while they're not the best granitas and brioches in the area, it's still worth a visit and a drink with a view.

12/07/2025: A wonderful and very unique bar. The pistachio and almond granita accompanied by the legendary brioche (served hot) is exceptional. If you visit Castelmola, you can't miss Bar Turrisi. Highly recommended!

07/08/2025: After two weeks in Taormina, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day and what a wonderful surprise! The warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the kind family who runs the place made us feel right at home. The food was exactly what we needed: comforting and full of flavor. The vegetable soup was absolutely delicious, the lamb cotoletta was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tagliatelle and swordfish rolls were just fantastic. On top of all that, the prices were the best we found in Taormina — great quality without the tourist mark-up. I only wish we had found this place sooner! Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: Visiting the Taverna has become a pleasant habit. The manager always offers a warm welcome. I've been coming here for almost thirty years. The food is sublime. Every year, the ever-changing menu is a surprise. The atmosphere is never chaotic, despite it being a very popular place. The service is super professional and fast. I always find the best traditional Sicilian dishes. Those who accompany me regularly describe the seafood dishes as the best on the Ionian Riviera. I recommend it without a doubt.

20/08/2025: Absolutely inexplicable reviews. Two stars only for the courtesy and customer service. For the food (all seafood dishes), 1. Flavorless, fish not fresh, terrible value. It's true that the weather is terrible, and that perhaps we should have opted for meat dishes, but I don't know if I'll be back. In response... Readers can easily see how many seafood restaurants I've been to, in Italy and abroad (freshly caught, the best on the beaches of Portugal and Albania). And that I also frequent Chinese and Japanese restaurants. And their shrimp are very similar to the ones on my plate... Good luck to you!

31/08/2025: I stumbled upon this bar by chance. Excellent products! Delicious coffee and authentic fig granita unlike any other (also because it's tare). If you're in Castelmola, I highly recommend it! A special thanks to Monica, who was super attentive and kind.

30/08/2025: We waited for more than 30 minutes to place an order. We even told them 3 times that we are waiting, they told us that they know and will come soon - in an unfriendly way. The view is great, but the service is non-existent. It is as if they have to pay us, not the other way around.

22/07/2025: Great setting. Terrible service. Food was edible but far from good. There was a bee in the food and they tried to charge us double for things that were never serve. To be avoided.
