14/07/2024: Our wedding was a dream come true and exceeded our expectations. The organization, precision, participation and affection we received from the entire Antica Ruota team made us want to get married the next day too! The wedding ceremony was organized as we wanted. During the time dedicated to photos for the bride and groom, our guests were entertained by a rich buffet and 'almost' forgot our absence 😂 Upon our return, the welcome and the opening of the appetizer it left us speechless! Not to mention the dinner, acclaimed by all our guests for the goodness and innovation of the dishes! All accompanied by a staff attentive to the needs of all our guests. 27/08/2024: Perhaps the owner or whoever manages the place (a certain Daniele) does not know that while the starters are being eaten the main courses cannot arrive, forcing the people at the table to gorge themselves in order to immediately finish the starters and have the waiters remove the plates. I understand that in August the places work two shifts... but there were still 50 minutes left until the next shift and there was plenty of time to eat. But you can make a mistake and this can happen to anyone... but when it is pointed out, cause controversy and make customers feel as if they had asked for something absurd (just enjoying the appetizer) by saying that it is normal to do so and that no one will has never complained means either not understanding how to do catering or being so arrogant as to not understand who comes there to spend their money. Let me start by saying that I had booked for 8.30pm and had to leave the table at 9.45pm. We arrived at 8.15pm so as not to have or create problems but we were still treated badly. Not to mention the fact that in the end they also forgot to give the receipt as we had paid in cash and they brought us the change with the pre-account receipt... but even here they got distracted I imagine... in short too many distractions perhaps also due at a young age, I hope with experience and age he understands that he is not doing us a favor by making us eat and that everything in life can change😉

28/08/2024: The bar and the staff are not used to a large clientele. My family and I came to have a simple breakfast, and the really annoyed staff complained about the confusion created by them, blaming us. A bar must be ready for any eventuality. The staff are rude and always comment with disgusted faces. In the end the food in the bar is very good but the atmosphere is very negative. If there are many of you coming, don't come to this bar.

01/07/2024: Butcher's shop with delicatessen departments (selection of typical Sicilian products, wine shop, ready-to-go meals) and delicatessen, also of its own production including the highly prized raw ham from Nebrodi black pigs. There is a very wide choice of preparations, all delicious. Courteous and competent staff. Fair prices. In here a vegetarian finds it difficult to remain one.

05/08/2024: If you want to enjoy authentic Sicilian flavors with FRESH local products then you must try the bottega dei due monti!! We went there for a quick dinner, and we were very satisfied: we took two grilled sandwiches, with excellent quality bread and first choice ingredients! Cold cuts, cheeses, jams, creams, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and many other very fresh and delicious products. We waited very little even though it was very busy and we paid VERY LITTLE. Furthermore there is the possibility to sit both inside and outside and to buy some of the local products they use for their sandwiches! Highly recommended

25/07/2024: Excellent cured meats and cheeses. Local products of own production. Nebrodi black pig cured meats. Disproportionate variety of products. They prepare sandwiches (soft or homemade) both as per the menu and to the customer's taste. As an alternative to sandwiches, there is the possibility of sitting at the (few) tables and enjoying wonderful platters of cured meats, cheeses and products in oil. The management is family-run. Husband, wife and son have always been friendly and helpful (we have been going there for 25 years). Just entering the rustic restaurant makes your mouth water, because of all the cured meats and cheeses that are hanging. Then you approach the counter and get lost among the varieties of these delicacies. The sandwiches are cheap. Cutting boards cost a little more. But you pay for quality. They are not the products found in traditional delicatessens or shopping centers. These are 0 km products with indescribable goodness. Seeing is believing.
