10/11/2025: Great bar and pizzeria in a small and charming town. The selection of oven-fresh pizzas 🍕 is extensive and the taste is excellent. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

At Noto's most famous bar, "Caffè Sicila," listed by Gambero Rosso, a coffee costs €1.50; at this bar, a terrible coffee, and a latte macchiato served with long-life milk costs €3.50. Tourists are being ripped off at this bar. The attitude is reminiscent of 1960s Italy. At other bars in Piazza Armerina, a decent coffee, some of which are good, costs €1.00.

28/01/2026: Incredible pizza "sarah" with charcoal base. Easiest to cut if you ask them for the pizza slicer. Glad they were open late in the evening. Be sure to check if there are any performances next door in the theatre if you're nearby. White wine was ok. Access it down stairs in side street.

27/11/2025: Excellent sushi 🍣 I've been going there for many years and it's always number 1 for quality food with new additions to the menu. It's a shame that the owner is very strict and doesn't even offer a coffee at the end of the meal even though there are 5 of us eating. Okay, that's a detail to be overlooked, but it leaves you perplexed because all the other sushi places offer coffee at the end of the meal or liqueur. These are such uneventful facts. But the fact remains that the quality is very high, every dish is a pure delight.

19/11/2025: My dinner at Sushi San was based on the all-you-can-eat menu. The location is elegant and quite nice compared to other restaurants in the area. The food was good enough, both the sushi and the rest. Unfortunately, we didn't try the desserts. The only flaw with the dishes was finding the orders inside the plates we were supposed to be eating from, which was absolutely unhygienic. Our experience began with a very unwelcoming welcome. We were left standing for about 5 minutes at the entrance without anyone bothering to approach us. When we approached a waiter to ask if we could sit down, we were told we would have to wait for his colleague, who was taking an order at a table. The same waiter who told us this stood there, staring around the room in astonishment, as if it were his first day, even though the place was half empty and we had even made a reservation. The bad experience with this individual, however, didn't end there. The waiter himself, when asked by a young man, was unable to offer a solution, leaving him without any advice on what to order despite the fact that there were over a hundred dishes on the menu. Throughout the entire ordering process, which was done exclusively through a website on the phone, no one bothered to ask about any intolerances or allergies, since it wasn't possible to include such information in the order (which, we recall, was placed independently without even a suggestion). It wasn't even possible to include the option to indicate changes to the dishes within the order taken independently, such as removing the sauces, which are always present in the dishes. Overall, the evening was barely satisfactory, but I don't know if I'd return due to the truly poor service that needs to be reconsidered. The quality-price ratio was adequate.

15/01/2026: I'm a regular at Pizzeria Mediterraneo, and it's never disappointed me. The pizza is excellent, well-cooked, with quality ingredients, and the service is always friendly and fast. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are fair. A surefire choice if you want truly good pizza!

05/10/2025: The coffee was good, as were the cannoli, but the price of the cannoli was disproportionate, as if we had been to the most expensive pastry shop in Catania.

26/08/2025: If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I bought an ice cream cake, recommended by them, for my birthday. Because it was made with a very thick layer of cream and very little ice cream, I couldn't even take a souvenir photo because the cream completely collapsed, making the cake inedible and unpresentable. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

05/04/2026: Exceptional Easter lunch...beyond our imagination. Excellent and plentiful food. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. We'll be back again....I haven't found such a good and authentic restaurant at such a fair price in years. I absolutely recommend it.

23/03/2026: I wouldn't return just because of the owner, a person you shouldn't have anything to do with. The full menu was 38 euros per person. We told the waiter not to order the second course, and instead of reducing the bill, it increased to 40.5 euros per person without explanation. The owner didn't respond to my complaints, nor even apologized. I wouldn't return.

01/05/2026: We had a great time! It's a family-friendly place, the staff are super friendly, and the stove warms your soul as well as your body. We loved it. We'll definitely be back! Excellent, great value.

01/05/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this pizzeria didn't live up to my expectations. The pizza dough was undercooked, with an unpleasant texture, and the mozzarella had a strange, almost artificial flavor. I hope it was just a fluke, but I can't recommend it at this time.

You have to try them to understand the authenticity and goodness of the products!!! The prices are unique and unmatched, you pay what you pay. Believe me!!! Private and you will be satisfied. 06/09/2025: I had a truly awful experience with this pizzeria, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'll tell you my story! One evening, I ordered two pizzas for delivery—a regular Margherita and a bresaola without sauce, with flakes and arugula. But after they delivered them, as soon as I went to open the box, I realized that instead of the pizza I'd ordered, they delivered a completely plain pizza with no ingredients. So I called the pizzeria and told them about the problem I'd encountered, even though they didn't want to apologize for their mistake that evening, saying they were closing and had already cleaned everything. "Oh well, it could have happened," I was also told by one of the pizzeria staff members, "The next time you call from this address, we'll make up for it." So two weeks later, I called them back to order two more pizzas, but when I tried to remind them of what had happened, I was told they didn't remember what had happened, and that I should therefore pay full price again for the pizzas after they'd literally stolen my money for a bresaola pizza, which has its price, when in fact I'd been served a completely white pizza with no ingredients. So I decided to go to the pizzeria in person to politely discuss it in person and not over the phone, because honestly, it's not fair to look like a fool and have €10 worth of pizza stolen like that. But as soon as I arrived at the pizzeria, I found myself being threatened by one of them, even using intimidating tones towards me and threatening that I would have to leave the pizzeria. Then, one of them, perhaps realizing they were making a mistake, called me back inside, inviting me to take the money, which I obviously refused. Anyway, it's better not to say anything else because from what came out of the mouth of one of them who turned on me, it was truly disgusting, a truly awful experience. Not so much for the bad pizza, but for the way I was mocked and the attitude shown towards me by the staff.

05/01/2026: Well-stocked bakery and delicatessen. I was passing through, so I ordered sandwiches and pizzas, all good. On the way back, I had truly delicious desserts. I would have liked to give a few more stars, but... The evening clerk was very unsympathetic, but what bothered me most was that, despite handling my money and phone, she served me without washing her hands. The deli section is full of unwanted guests; I recommend a mosquito net over the counter. Prices are average.

07/12/2025: Shameful to say the least! Staff that make you incredibly anxious! You don't even have time to enter and look at the counter with the food, the waiter comes over and says "Do you want to sit down? Please!" But damn, not even time? Not to mention the prices. A warm heart (frozen), a herbal tea with supermarket sachets (the cheapest ones by the way), a single portion of ricotta and almonds and a juice for the child cost the grand sum of 24 euros and 50! Are we serious? A rip-off! Never again.
