05/08/2024: Unbelievable food and flavour from a friendly host. On a Monday lunchtime when many other places were closed, we were met with a warm welcome. The owner didn't have a menu but made some suggestions: we had a pistachio pesto pasta, a dressed salad and a plate of ribs to share between 5. Everything was delicious, but the ribs in particular were sublime and had been cooked sous vide for four hours, then cooked in wine for several more hours. The service was great and the prices extremely reasonable. You must visit if you are in the area.

24/11/2024: Small village bar, the only room for selling pastries and coffee without a toilet for customers. We bought very good hazelnut pastes and almond pastes and six equally good artisanal kisses. Average fresh mignon pastries. Almond and hazelnut pastes cost €22/kg while kisses cost €35/kg.

30/12/2024: Cozy, quaint restaurant with very tasty food and friendly owners. The ravioli with pistachio was particularly a highlight. Good selection of dishes for vegetarians too. We went there twice during our vacation.

10/12/2024: Small but well-kept and evocative place, excellent family management. I will definitely go back. Excellent selection of wines and typical dishes. The funny guy.

10/12/2024: Very welcoming location with typical environments of Sicilian villages... excellent quality raw materials cooked in an exquisite way respecting traditions but with an eye to innovation! Niche winery with uncommercial labels... congratulations. Exquisite desserts as well as the waitress and owner Giuseppe. ...and a special thanks to the chef because he was able to delight us with great skill! If you go to Castiglione di Sicilia it is the only place to have lunch/dinner for a delicious break 😉... I highly recommend it!!!

01/11/2024: Oggi il giorno venerdì 1 novembre. Il nuovo locale ristorante è pulito. La cameriera raffinatezza ma educata ti do i vivissimi complimenti. Anche giovanotto titolare è tranquillo. 2 primo piatto amatriciana e fusilli broccoli colatura di alici Cetara 2 secondo piatto tagliata di manzo e tartari di manzo e funghi 2 calici di vino lavica Etna Ma siamo è soddisfatto.

02/01/2025: Maybe he thinks he's a star, €160 for two starters, two second courses, a bottle of wine (€35) All in a rustic location bordering on sloppy, menu written in marker, unprofessional staff. Mediocre food, artichoke served with all its external leaves, that is, without having been cleaned in the slightest. Medium portions, certainly not enough to justify the cost of the dishes (cutting board at €38, main course of meat up to €38 for a normal portion of rib-eye). It was suggested to us by our structure, I hope the advice was dictated by relatives and/or friendships because it would not be justified otherwise.

02/12/2024: Consigliato dai nostri amici, abbiamo pranzato in questo splendido ristorante. Avvolti in un atmosfera medievale abbiamo assaggiato dei piatti unici, in particolare il Ragù di cuore, impossibile da descrivere ma assolutamente da provare. È stato un pranzo domenicale stellato ⭐️ Ritorneremo sicuramente . Grazie :)

22/11/2024: Fine ottobre 2024, diluvio sulla parte orientale dell’isola e io mi trovavo a Castiglione di Sicilia. Ho trovato questa pizzeria nel borgo antico di questo paese (che tra l’altro appartiene al Circuito Dei Borghi più Belli D’Italia) e sono entrato per cenare. Gentilissimi, disponibilissimi e capaci di fare una pizza veramente buona. Non gli assegno 5 stelle solo perché (a mio avviso) dovrebbero migliorare l’illuminazione. Comunque bravi…
