12/05/2026: Food and cuisine to be described as excellent On the one hand, for the ongoing research and dynamic culinary offerings, which often, almost dogmatically, follow the seasonality of the products (cured meats, meats, and vegetables from practically zero kilometers), which are also of excellent quality, rare to find in the surrounding area and among competitors. On the other, for the exceptional approach to winemaking and the preparation of the dishes. The wine cellar is also high-quality and highly sought-after. The staff and owners are highly knowledgeable, both in terms of cuisine and wine, and have the ability to explain immediately and directly what and how to eat and drink, which reflects on the overall quality of the experience. Probably a little more expensive than average, but entirely justified. Definitely recommended.

12/05/2026: I chose this place to celebrate my birthday, full of confidence after seeing their win at "4 Ristoranti." I had booked a table for five people five days in advance for the evening of May 8th. We drove an hour to arrive promptly at 9:00 PM... only to find the restaurant closed. We called the restaurant and the same person who had taken the reservation answered, saying they were in the hospital. Humanly speaking, I can understand the unexpected, but at work, this isn't professionalism. We were hastily dismissed over the phone with a miserable, "I'm sorry, but I couldn't find the number to let you know." A thing like this had never happened to me in my entire life, neither in Italy nor abroad. Couldn't find the number? Yet you're always active on social media and post stories almost every day! A simple public notice on your pages would have been enough to save people from wasted trips. The result of your disorganization was a ruined birthday party, a terrible impression on my guests, and an evening where we were forced to settle for a local pizzeria. The pizza was delicious, but I certainly wouldn't drive an hour to eat it on my birthday. Respect for customers and their time comes before any TV award. Let me start by saying something fundamental: I work in the same industry as you, but in a big city. I know exactly how this job works, and I'm well aware that emergencies and unexpected events happen to all of us. It's normal. But the difference lies in how they're handled. I, unlike you, am polite and respectful of my customers and their time; I would never allow myself to insult them. I repeat: I'm deeply sorry for your employee's accident and hope he's okay. But the facts remain. The accident occurred at 5:30 PM, my reservation was for 9:00 PM. In three and a half hours, in the digital age, you didn't have a diary, but you certainly had your phones in hand (since you answered my phone). You didn't need a diary to post a banal "Story" on your very active social media profiles, writing "CLOSED FOR EMERGENCY." You would have saved me and others from wasted trips. But the most absurd thing is hearing me say that "once upon a time, we could easily go to another restaurant." Perhaps you're living outside of reality: finding a table for five people at 9:00 PM on a Friday night in Randazzo is not at all the easy walk you make it. And not so much because of the confusion itself, but because there's only one other restaurant that does the typical things we were looking for: the place we usually go to, and which, unfortunately, we made the grave mistake of not choosing that evening just to try yours. Calling me "arrogant," "overbearing," and suffering from "monstrous individualism" just because I point out an objective disservice is simply unacceptable. True individualism is leaving five people waiting outside a restaurant for a birthday party without even a public announcement. "Once upon a time," restaurateurs knew how to humbly apologize when faced with their own mistakes. Make peace with politeness and humility.

29/08/2025: Truly sensationally delicious ice cream (pistachio) and aranchini. I thought the reviews here (the best in Sicily) were exaggerated, but it might actually be true :) Definitely try it! Update after 3 weeks traveling all over Sicily: These were truly the best ice cream in a brioche and the best aranchini!!!

10/05/2026: This is a beautiful farm in Passopisciaro (Castiglione di Sicilia). They grow grapes and process them to produce wonderful wines, my favorite being Camellia. They have a reception area for campers with electricity, water, and restrooms, and guests can use the pool. The property also has an excellent restaurant and pizzeria. You can tour the cellars and purchase wine. The rooms are also very nice. Camper guests: it's best to call to reserve, as spaces are limited.

08/05/2026: A very beautiful spot, Sicilian friendliness, and Berta the dog who greets everyone. (Barking doesn't mean the dog is angry, and yes, it's her territory, so she's allowed to run around. 😉) Dog owners know this. If that doesn't suit you, you can always move on. Unfortunately, we don't have time and can only stay briefly for the night, enjoy the fantastic wine tasting, and visit the restaurant. We'll definitely come back. Keep up the good work! Best regards

24/12/2025: Wonderful place, excellent structure, top staff, amazing breakfast, fantastic spa.

18/12/2025: We stayed here off-season (December 15-17) so it almost felt like we were alone in the entire hotel. We only saw a few other people. Since it was off-season I think we got a good price, since the spa was included. The staff was also very helpful and professional. The breakfast was ok. The restaurant menu was very limited and the food was mediocre. We dined here the first night but ended up driving to a nearby village the next evening. The drinks at the bar were good. However I struggle to see this being a luxury 5-star hotel, it’s more of a really good 4-star one.
