Not only do you visit the atmospheric cellars where the wine is aged, but you also enjoy unparalleled views across the Alcantara Valley from a spectacular terrace. Viviana shared the fascinating family history, the challenges posed by Mount Etna’s eruptions, and the incredible character this unique terroir lends to the wines. It is a perfect blend of innovation and tradition. The "Bolle Nere" sparkling wine, made using the traditional method, is an absolute must-try.

Viviana, a 5th generation winemaker, provided a wonderful wine tasting experience for our family, on the north side of Mt. Etna. She explained all of the wines we tried, which were excellent, and also took us downstairs to learn about production. Viviana has a lovely personality and is able to instruct in a pleasant way. I can understand a bit of the Italian language, but my family does not and she communicated wonderfully in English. We had requested a little food and were surprised at the amount and great quality. Nice to have Sicilian wine with Sicilian dishes! The view was spectacular, and you won't regret your time here.
