02/06/2026: Unfortunately, somewhat disappointing. In our opinion, the bruschettas were too crispy. The small steak was sold out; we ordered medium and (in hindsight) paid for a large one. We ordered a salad but didn't receive it, nor did we pay for it after checking the bill. However, the service was friendly and the ambiance nice.

24/05/2026: A very nice and cozy place to eat. Don't expect any fancy fuss, but the atmosphere is (unique), the decor is great, and the food was delicious. The owner/host/chef does this out of love, and you can tell by everything. Very hospitable! Oh, and the owner has a background in music, which translates into nice music in the background. Thanks!

14/06/2026: Going out for pizza or a burger with friends, without compromise. I found the pizza very light and easy to digest, and the price was consistent with the amount they ate. In fact, I'd definitely pay more elsewhere.

Excellent staff, and the owners were super accommodating to my every crazy request! With attention to every detail, they managed to make the evening enjoyable and seamless…even though the restaurant was completely packed! I really don't know how to thank you!

23/05/2026: Terrible service!! Understaffed. 40-minute wait for two slushies...with 30 degrees outside, the inside dining room with closed windows and the air conditioning off. The quality of the slushies isn't what it used to be. The cream ran out by 10 in the morning. Great potential, but the result wasn't up to par!

02/06/2026: What an absolutely exceptional place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the tranquillity and the sense of escaping the busy tourist crowds. We enjoyed it so much that we changed our plans and dedicated an entire day to simply relaxing in the beautiful courtyard and exploring the stunning forest trails surrounding the property. The food was outstanding. Easily some of the finest we have tasted anywhere in Italy. The chef, along with every member of staff, went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even prepared delicious meals for our 6-year-old daughter that were not on the menu, which was a thoughtful touch we greatly appreciated. We loved the exclusive guest-only restaurant and fully embraced the authentic Italian dining experience throughout our stay. Every meal was memorable and showcased the quality and passion that goes into the food here. Giuseppe was fantastic. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, he made us feel completely at home from start to finish. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Mount Etna’s foothills, surrounded by nature, outstanding hospitality, and incredible food, this place is worth every penny. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Highly recommended.

31/03/2026: Special place for Potterheads 😍😘🥰 Amazing decor, attention to detail, with tons of rooms dedicated to the various houses. Simple menu but excellent sandwiches 👍🏻 A little out of the way for us, but definitely worth it.

30/03/2026: The best Harry Potter-themed pub I've ever seen. The themed rooms, divided by house, are truly exclusive and finished down to the smallest detail with fine materials. The staff is dressed in Harry Potter themed attire, and we had a magical and wonderful evening. 💕 The sandwiches are high-quality, the bread is crispy, meeting the highest standards of London pubs. Butterbeer is currently the name of a dessert, but I suggest finding a way to make real Butterbeer like in the studios in England in the future.

15/06/2026: Excellent food, the owner is super helpful, I recommend trying both the pizzas and the main courses, without forgetting the starter of course.

21/03/2026: A hidden gem near Etna. An exceptional and authentic restaurant with warm and welcoming staff. The food was phenomenal. Fresh mussels, fragrant bread, seafood linguine, and scampi. The swordfish was perfectly prepared, as was the fried calamari and salad. The dessert was divine and I absolutely must have the recipe. We also purchased delicious prosciutto and top-quality baked goods for our trip. The staff is very attentive. You feel truly welcome. "A Maidda" is one of the best restaurants in the area. Warmth, intense flavors, simply wonderful. A place where you don't just eat, you feel truly welcome. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and exceptional food. We are from Germany.
