06/07/2024: I must seen place in any visit to Sicily. Although not easy to find, the restaurant is like an oasys in the old village. We were alone but the service (probably owner) took care of us in every detail and in a funny atmosphere. They environment is super... but the food even better!!. They take care about local dishes and prepare them with detail (including a complementary Espresso!!). Visited 2024.06.28

18/06/2024: I don't usually write reviews, but here the owner really deserves it. The food, service and ambience are perfect. We stayed here 2 days in a row and can only recommend it!

07/07/2024: Spectacular setting, not being in the same city as me, I was a bit undecided whether to take on a one-hour road trip, then I discovered that the owners also run a B&B in the area and so I booked both. The place is really beautiful, the settings are truly spectacular and original, you feel catapulted into the saga of the little wizard Harry Potter, the children will like it very much and adults like me will be delighted by the delicious dishes, personally we have tasted a bit of everything, the sandwiches are served with a mountain of delicious chips lightly sanded and with the skin, draft beer for connoisseurs 🔝, try the butter beer and the pinsa Nutella and chopped pistachios to lick your chops, the quick and attentive service is also excellent, and at the end of dinner you can stay in the area (by booking) at the nearby B&B Bianca di Navarra House which takes its name from the queen of France and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in the 1400s, a historic building renovated and furnished with taste and care, beautiful and clean rooms (we have stayed in room 3), the hospitality of Mrs Anna was splendid, a host who accompanied us by illustrating the surroundings and who welcomed us with affection and great care towards us, highly recommended. Excellent do-it-yourself breakfast.

03/06/2024: What can I say if not Magical! The place looks like a small pub but in reality it's like Hogwarts, you enter a room then another and another and so on! Very good food, super welcoming and helpful staff!! It deserves to be visited.

08/08/2024: Positive: very friendly family, clean, quality finish of the rooms and real charm of the place Negative: family service with its advantages and disadvantages, very high restaurant prices despite uneven quality and amateur level of cuisine (uncontrolled cooking and flavors) + an exorbitant bill of 16 euros for three bowls of industrial chips. Conclusion: unsatisfactory value for money, tourist prices.

28/07/2024: Only one word can describe this restaurant in all its forms.. Uniko.. we will be back....... special thanks to the owner who treated us with kid gloves even though we hadn't booked in ten minutes they arranged the table for us. ...a truly beautiful place and the photos describe everything....

21/07/2024: We found this place quite by accident. Its tucked away and not obvious from the street. What a find! Cakes are to die for and there are 18 different flavours of hot chocolate. Do yourself a favour and call in for a canolli.

13/07/2024: What a tranquil oasis of wonderful things. Amazing food and wine, and lovely service. In July the rooms are a little warm - but as half way up Etna by evening things have cooled down - not terrible or sweaty. Views of Etna from the courtyard sipping local Caricante in blissful tranquility is pretty hard to beat. Just a small handful of rooms around a small courtyard makes this place intimate and peaceful. The hostess Alessandro is amazing - kind funny and welcoming - makes the best Spritz’s (of multiple kinds) cooks amazing fresh local food simply but with finesse. Knows the wine list (which is full of reasonably priced local wines) backwards. Highly recommend…

07/07/2024: Cozy and calming place, forest with fruits, swimming pool, clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious food. Close to Etna Volcano. It is possible to see Etna Volcano from the garden, sitting under an olive tree. Unique experience.

21/08/2024: Friendly, polite and welcoming staff. The room (double), clean but a little small, in some places no two can fit together. The bathroom is average but the shower is small. The breakfast was standard.
