04/12/2024: He moved across the street from where he was before but the opinion doesn't change. Now more spacious, there is a part reserved for the restaurant. Modern, clean and friendly staff. Excellent cappuccino and truly stuffed croissants. You can enjoy an aperitif by eating a rather rich plate of appetizers, and not the usual peanuts and salty chips or small bruschetta with a bit of tomato........and having to add a personal opinion, it is the only bar not having increased the price of the croissants which, in addition to being full inside unlike other bars, always cost 1 euro! The only sore point was the pizza: I happened to have to eat it and it wasn't tasty at all. The pasta was excellent, the rest lacked salt and the ingredients of the capricciosa tasted of nothing, you couldn't even smell the mushrooms, the same goes for the ham. I highly recommend shopping with a little more quality when choosing the products to put on the pizza. So €8.50 is not worth it at all. Loss of a star on our part.

03/12/2024: All good and prices ok for breakfast and aperitif. The coffee is excellent, the croissants are quite filling, plentiful appetizers for the aperitif and friendly staff....BUT UNFORTUNATELY I can't say the same about the pizza. I finally had the opportunity to eat it: nice looking with the high edge, good pasta and cooking, but ZERO taste of the ingredients!!! They served it to me tasteless, unseasoned sauce, ham that smelled strange (it wasn't a stink) but it didn't even look like ham, the fresh mushrooms didn't smell at all, the onion was yellow, it looked like it was pre-cooked and cut large. I didn't know what I was eating because it tasted like nothing, zero taste. I'm sorry because I would have liked to give 5 stars but the ingredients tasted like nothing. Everything I smelled didn't smell like what it was, to get the idea.

29/05/2024: Advised. I really appreciated the owner chef's suggestions regarding the right amount of meat to reserve. If I had done it my way I would have booked a lot of food which would certainly have been wasted. Excellent food and top service considering the little waiter helper 😂

09/10/2024: We passed by chance and discovered a well-stocked bar with a top quality rotisserie. Super recommended!

07/10/2024: Passing through San Cataldo, in the center near the wonderful B&B where I was staying, I go in for a coffee in this ancient and famous bar in San Cataldo, where I was able to taste the best diner and for lunch take-away hot dishes among the best in San Cataldo, not to mention the pizzas which are prepared with the care and attentive hands of the very kind and exquisite owner named Gaetano who will immediately make you feel at home. The restaurant offers both internal tables for consumption, take-away and also home delivery upon request. What can I say Thank you Gaetano for delighting my palate with your arancini and pizzas for making me feel at home

27/07/2024: Let's start with the cover. 2.50 with a tablecloth and paper napkins and with a plastic bottle of water from the supermarket is not good. Let's move on to the pizzas. Increased prices and missing condiments. Doubts about mozzarella which I believe is a food preparation. These are not the pizzas of some time ago that were unsurpassable. I'm sorry to give a negative review. Returned after a month......nothing, they are no longer the pizzas of some time ago...short of toppings and poor quality.
