11/07/2026: One of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The staff is friendly.
14/06/2026: My son has celiac disease and wasn't able to eat well because the staff wasn't very knowledgeable about it, even though they make gluten-free pizza. He asked for a few things and they couldn't accommodate him (stracchino instead of mozzarella and fries, which were fried in contaminated oil), and they didn't even have iced tea. Let's just say they could improve in many ways. I asked for a salt shaker, and instead of bringing it, the waiter came back saying the salt was already there. The gluten-free pizza was still good, and the dough was very soft. The service could definitely improve with a few tweaks, especially if you're trying to serve customers with health issues like celiacs. I don't think we'll be back.

02/02/2026: A little difficult to find, but just turn on your GPS... it's worth it, the place is very nice, the food is very good, and the staff is very kind and ready to satisfy every customer's need.

30/10/2025: One of the best pizzas you can eat on the island!
06/10/2025: We stopped one evening for pizza, drawn in by the tables the night before; it looked good. And we were right; the pizza was very good. I had the one with truffle mushrooms; I would have had another! The dough was well-made, it wasn't heavy, and we weren't thirsty afterward. The waiter was a real genius; he was very helpful, welcoming, and kind. Recommended.

Also, super kind and smiling from the early morning, a real boost of sunshine.
13/04/2026: A quick stop for ice cream in a brioche bun and an espresso. We received a superb welcome (the waiter speaks perfect French) and what a treat it was, all at a very reasonable price! A wonderful discovery, a place that deserves to be better known!

30/07/2026: Capellino di Ortigia is one of those places you discover almost by chance and then happily recommend... recommended by our hotel staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and has its own character, reflecting the authentic atmosphere of Ortigia.
Professionalism is accompanied by a warm and spontaneous welcome, without excessive formality. You can sense their passion for their work and the attention they pay to each guest, with a touch of humor that makes the experience even more enjoyable.
In the end, you leave satisfied, with a smile and the feeling of having found a genuine place, where expertise and friendliness coexist in perfect harmony.

I don't understand why people give this place a bad rating!
16/11/2025: I've been to this pizzeria and the experience is always positive. The dough is light, fluffy, and very digestible, which I really appreciated. The toppings are also fresh and well-balanced, without being overbearing.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Pizzeria New Pizzart

18/07/2026: Pizzas ordered for 8:15 PM for delivery to the beach. After calling us following a 15-minute delay, we were told the pizzas had just been baked.
At 9:00 PM, with everything still quiet, we called back to see what had happened. The answer was that the delivery man had had a problem with his vehicle, but that he was already on his way and almost there.
It was now 9:30 PM (an hour and 15 minutes late from the scheduled time), and since we had an upcoming commitment and were now in the dark, we called back to inform them we couldn't wait any longer. The response was not only rude, but downright arrogant, insisting the delivery man would be there "any minute." When we pointed out the complete lack of professionalism, as well as the fact that the pizzas would be cold by then, the girl on the phone saw fit to hang up on us, without the decency to apologize for the inconvenience or even show the slightest bit of regret.
Hanging up on someone who's been waiting an hour and a half doesn't erase your disorganization; it just shows that, in addition to cold pizzas, you also serve a dismal level of professionalism!
23/02/2026: Last night I ordered two pizzas + 1 large coke and some sachets of mayonnaise brought home, so far so good, not only did the guy come 15 minutes late and that can be expected because I live in an area that is currently very busy due to the carnival, but I didn't make a fuss, my fuss came immediately after because the guy arrived without sachets of mayonnaise and coke, when we told him that we wanted them even if we were waiting he very rudely said he couldn't do it because he had other deliveries, I called the pizzeria and we solved the problem, I wait for the coke and the mayonnaise for a good half hour while the pizzas were freezing, with the end not only did I have to wait for these things because it was their mistake but I didn't reply, but I expected at least AT LEAST the free sachets. end of the story frozen pizzas and empty wallet and ruined evening, the only thing I expected from the delivery man was to apologize but he was just rude and impolite, too bad

05/07/2025: Apart from us there were only Italians which I think is very rare these days. It was a very cool atmosphere. The food was delicious, the service was kind. The lemon granita was heavenly :)

09/07/2025: Locale semplice che offre una buona varietà di pizze, impasto buono, cortesia del servizio. Offre solo pizza, limitata scelta di bevande e niente caffè (strano ma è così) ma se si cerca un locale semplice dove mangiare una buona pizza questo posto è ciò che può fare al caso.
06/07/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in un tavolo posto in pendenza inclinato molto scomodo, con bicchieri di plastica, antipasti serviti senza i piatti, hanno dimenticato una pizza e anche le pizze non erano buone, scondite e con mozzarella e salsa acide.
Anche il prezzo è troppo alto per la qualità molto bassa.
Non consiglio di venire, spero che la pizzeria possa migliorare questi aspetti.

12/04/2026: Short holiday in a beautiful seaside town, we had booked a simple room and we were given a suite as a gift, a wonderful surprise
04/01/2026: A potentially beautiful property, surrounded by greenery and architecturally interesting... it's a shame it's been poorly managed, starting with the reception (upon arrival, it was impossible to reach the person who was supposed to check in by phone), and leaving aside other oversights... when we had to report the lack of hot water, we were told that it was a holiday (January 1st) and all that could be done was restart the boiler—which never turned on. So, two days without hot water... but of course, when this was pointed out, we were told that we were being pretentious, what could possibly have happened about having to wash with cold water on January 1st, and that it was all just excuses to get a discount... All this was shouted by Mrs. Valeria, who made us look like liars and pretentious. This person needs to take a crash course in good manners and reconsider her role, as I see neither competence nor good manners, provoking people and behaving in an arrogant and aggressive manner. I should point out that we didn't pay peanuts for a room, but 95 euros...the only deserved star goes to Mrs. Patrizia, the breakfast lady...kind, cheerful, and welcoming, just as someone who manages a service that involves contact with the public should be. See you never again!

05/08/2025: Ci siamo recati in questa trattoria del posto dove abbiamo trovato del cibo buonissimo a prezzi contenuti. All'interno del locale, inoltre, ci si sente in famiglia, grazie alla simpatia e alla professionalità di Roberta e del maestro Lillo.
05/08/2025: Siamo venuti a mangiare a mangiare con degli amici abbiamo mangiato antipasti buonissimi il 1 paccheri con pesce spada gamberi e cozze che era di una bontà superlativa x concludere una frittura d paranza freschissima e buonissima staff meravigliosi e cordiali e super disponibili.. Resoconto si mangia benssimo ad un prezzo stracciato stra consigliato
