23/05/2025: We decided to spend an evening in this pub with friends.
We had dinner with several rounds of aperitifs accompanied by hamburgers and other tasty things. Everything is home-made and of excellent quality.
The owners Antonio and Giusi are truly courteous and welcoming.

We dined with 9 people and ordered 3 pinsas at €15 each. The waitress informed us there were no fresh tomatoes, but she could replace them with dried tomatoes. We agreed, but the pinsa were soaked in oil, with too many overly salty dried tomatoes, cheese, and ham. There was no tomato sauce at all, which we expected. It was heavy and inedible, and we couldn't finish.
Despite our complaints, the waitress only deducted one pinsa, stating she had warned us. Also, some toasts were charged at a higher price than advertised. Very disappointing experience.

04/10/2024: Wij bestelden 1 glas witte huiswijn en 1 flesje lokaal bier. Volgens de menukaart €9,-. Bij het afrekenen moest ik €12,65 betalen, waarop ik vroeg of ze misschien een fout had gemaakt. Nee, de €3,65 zijn servicekosten!
Nu ben ik al twee weken op Sicilië en in elk restaurant waar wij gaan eten betalen we servicekosten, maar nooit eerder heb ik service kosten bij twee drankjes hoeven te betalen. Was de dame gastvrij en aardig, dan had ik het nog voor lief genomen, maar ze was chagrijnig en ver van gastvrij. Hopelijk had ze haar dag niet en is ze morgen weer vrolijk, maar ons ziet ze niet meer.

13/06/2025: Absolutely wonderful experience at Trattoria La Buona Forchetta! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — truly some of the best we’ve had in Sicily. The service was warm and welcoming, and to top it off, the owner serenaded us with his guitar, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommended!

06/06/2025: Ho scelto questo posto per le recensioni. Assolutamente non veritiere. Fritto di paranza, pesci da supermercato assolutamente fritti male, primi con cambierò rosa probabilmente se i gamberetti li vedi con la lent3 diventano gamberi…. Da dimenticare il peggior ristorante che abbia trovato in Sicilia.

02/03/2025: It's too expensive. A pizza €11 seems really too much to me (among other things sausage and potatoes), €2 for the delivery cost. The pizza is good but absolutely not worth it.
21/02/2025: Excellent pizzeria in Sciacca in via Cappuccini. The pizza is very good, personally a discovery compared to my habits. Excellent quality of the ingredients and zero thirst after the pizza. Take-away pizzeria but it is possible to have a table in a not very romantic environment but great service and cleanliness. I recommend trying this very good pizza.

19/05/2025: Disappointing beautiful terrace, but disastrous service
We were attracted by the terrace and the breathtaking view, truly a dream place to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately, our visit ended before it even really started.
After we sat down, several minutes passed without anyone taking care of us. Only after he called the waiter, did he bring us the menus and then disappeared again. Another ten minutes passed without anyone coming to take our order. In the meantime, the waiter was inside chatting calmly with other people, instead of taking care of his (only!) customers.
It is worth pointing out: the place was completely empty, we were the only customers there. If the tables had been full, we would have perfectly understood the wait. But in these conditions? Absolutely incomprehensible.
Finally we got up and left. No one stopped us or asked why we were leaving, no sign of displeasure, no interest.
Conclusion: a dream location, unfortunately wasted due to disinterested and inattentive staff. A real shame.

27/10/2024: Uno splendido posto per gustare ottimi piatti, serviti con accuratezza e raccontati splendidamente da Salvino, il ristoratore, che con suo savoir faire dà quel tocco di sicilianità e di allegria che su una buona tavola non può mancare..buoni vini..ottimi i dolci!!

26/10/2024: The guy is an absolute con artist! My wife and I are far to trusting in people. We had been walking all day and were a bit hangry so just went in for lunch. Told there was no menu but the lunch was set so we said ok. In hindsight we should have asked for a price but we were knackered and not thinking 100 percent. Then locals started coming in and were given menus but buy then we'd started eating. We soon realised we were being conned as we were tourists. I will always go on trip advisor next time as I see it's happened before. If you do go ask for a menu and if he says there isn't one leave!!

30/04/2025: Llegamos muy tarde, después de las 10 de la noche y ya casi no quedaba nadie pero nos atendieron y de maravilla. Una ensalada y un par de pizzas y todo genial, muy recomendable en Sciacca y un ambiente muy agradable.
04/01/2025: Purtroppo la mia esperienza alla pizzeria “Arco Antico” è stata davvero deludente. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per 12 persone con largo anticipo, ma, arrivati solo 10 minuti in ritardo, ci hanno comunicato che avevano ceduto il tavolo ad altri clienti. Mi sembra davvero una mancanza di professionalità, soprattutto considerando che avevo avvisato della possibile tardività. Il comportamento del personale è stato poco comprensivo e, anziché cercare di trovare una soluzione, sono rimasto completamente ignorato. Non tornerò sicuramente più in questo posto e lo sconsiglio a chi cerca un minimo di serietà e attenzione al cliente.

Reggia di Kokalos

17/08/2024: Se si fa una vacanza a Sciacca la Reggia di Kokalos è sicuramente un posto dove bisogna andare a cenare. Sarai immerso in una bellissima atmosfera, tutto curato e con tanto verde. Location perfetta per un matrimonio insomma. Abbiamo preso la pizza ed era veramente ottima e anche i prezzi erano tutto sommato nella media. Accoglienza e gentilezza dei camerieri top, tutti molto carini e preparati. Consiglio assolutamente
13/08/2024: Locale molto bello ma la sua peccha più grande un menu nn veritiero pesce di scarsa cualita servito veramente da far pieta crudite di pesce con ghiaccio inesistente ormai quel poco che ne è rimasto ci galeggiava la mia tartar pessimo serata da dimenticare
