11/09/2025: It’s such a nice, family-owned little place in Castelsardo! The staff if so friendly and welcoming! This place felt like really a local one, not tourist-based. The owner is also actively serving the food and wine, but not really speaking English, but it’s not a problem. We felt very good here and the view from the terrace was magical. The food is also good, but simple - it is more of a local, authentic place, nice, simple food - more of a vibe. You always choose from a few options for the day as a menu. But you feel, they made the food with care. :)

16/08/2025: Very nice place with an outdoor terrace. Very good food. I recommend the appetizer with 8 tastings and the spaghetti with clams and bottarga. Prices are average. Friendly service. I recommend it.

15/08/2025: Yesterday we were at Sale e Peppe 14/08/25 We ordered Fregula, a very tasty dish, costs 18 euros. The portion is quite large and there are a lot of shellfish. For dessert I ordered Millesfoglie con la crema (layered cake with cream) 8 euros. I was disappointed! I didn’t feel any cream there, there were only two thin layers. And all of this is covered with jam, which is very sweet and cloying. The portion is small and the most expensive for dessert. I don’t recommend it!

07/10/2025: We spontaneously went up with the stroller and were greeted warmly. They gave us a table, and they were very sweet and kind to our daughter. The food was delicious. I recommend the trofie with mussels—fabulous.

07/10/2025: Excellent fregola with fish, informal atmosphere, a little noisy and brightly lit. Overall, good. I would return.

16/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop, the best in Castelsardo. Freshly baked pastries, quality products. Very clean. Normal prices. Very friendly staff. Superb cherries.

11/09/2025: Gallura soup (reservation required) is extraordinary; every time we come to Sardinia, we absolutely must stop in to try it! Plus, it's incredibly affordable and the service makes you feel like a welcome and pampered guest.

03/10/2025: There are certainly other gelaterias with a larger selection, but this one is perfectly adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ice cream itself was really very good; I especially recommend the pistachio cheesecake.

22/09/2025: We wandered in by chance and were pleasantly welcomed and looked after throughout the meal. The three staff members are extremely kind and knowledgeable about various intolerances. They recommended various gluten-free dishes. We ate excellent fish dishes. The tiramisu and crème brulee are homemade; the crème brulee is the bomb! We returned a second time and they lived up to our expectations. Highly recommended!!! We'll definitely be back!

17/09/2025: The ambiance and service were so-so, the food was quite good but expensive. We had to ask several times to pay, and then ended up with drinks on the bill that we didn't consume.
