26/10/2025: A great place! A small restaurant in a quiet alleyway, with very welcoming and friendly staff! Very fast service, hearty hamburgers prepared with quality ingredients. A thoughtful touch from the owner at the end of the service, thank you very much!

26/10/2025: The burgers are generous and very good. Very reasonable prices. Very enjoyable jazz atmosphere. The only downside is the fries, which are well prepared but frozen (it's stated on the menu). But that's a small detail. A little extra, the very friendly owner kindly offered us coffee. I recommend it! 👍

08/11/2025: Every time I return to Castelsardo, Ristorante Cormorano is a must! The food here is divine, especially the fish: always fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented with great care. You can truly taste the passion and quality in every dish. The staff is wonderful, kind, and super professional; they make you feel right at home. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. I recommend trying a little bit of everything, from appetizers to desserts, because every course is a tasty surprise! I've also added lots of photos, because the pictures speak for themselves: an experience not to be missed for anyone who loves good food and the Sardinian sea. 🌊🐟🍋

11/09/2025: It’s such a nice, family-owned little place in Castelsardo! The staff if so friendly and welcoming! This place felt like really a local one, not tourist-based. The owner is also actively serving the food and wine, but not really speaking English, but it’s not a problem. We felt very good here and the view from the terrace was magical. The food is also good, but simple - it is more of a local, authentic place, nice, simple food - more of a vibe. You always choose from a few options for the day as a menu. But you feel, they made the food with care. :)

16/08/2025: Very nice place with an outdoor terrace. Very good food. I recommend the appetizer with 8 tastings and the spaghetti with clams and bottarga. Prices are average. Friendly service. I recommend it.

15/08/2025: Yesterday we were at Sale e Peppe 14/08/25 We ordered Fregula, a very tasty dish, costs 18 euros. The portion is quite large and there are a lot of shellfish. For dessert I ordered Millesfoglie con la crema (layered cake with cream) 8 euros. I was disappointed! I didn’t feel any cream there, there were only two thin layers. And all of this is covered with jam, which is very sweet and cloying. The portion is small and the most expensive for dessert. I don’t recommend it!

09/10/2025: Fantastic. Traditional pastries, seadas made and prepared to order, delicious. A true place. Where Sardinia knows how to exist without losing its essence.

21/09/2025: I had the pleasure of discovering L’Arte del Gusto, and I must say it was a wonderful experience! A place where Sardinian tradition is celebrated in every dish, using the freshest ingredients, crafted to order. I tried the ricotta ravioli: simply delicious, with a generous portion that was completely satisfying. The owner is a fantastic person, welcoming and passionate about her work: she even showed me how she makes fresh pasta, right there in front of the customers. A detail that makes the difference is the open laboratory behind the counter, allowing you to observe the care and authenticity with which the products are made. A genuine place, where you can feel passion and tradition in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to savor the true flavor of Sardinia.

03/11/2025: Despite some scathing reviews, we had a very good dinner at this lovely establishment. In particular, the fregola (for just two people) was sublime. The tuna? Not great, nowhere near the level of Carloforte's. We saw some very generous and tasty fried calamari go by… yum! Don't hesitate, it's a great place.

12/10/2025: Cozy restaurant, especially with an outdoor terrace. Fast and friendly service. Extensive menu. Pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven. Delicious and generous pizzas for an Italian price! Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: There are certainly other gelaterias with a larger selection, but this one is perfectly adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ice cream itself was really very good; I especially recommend the pistachio cheesecake.

11/11/2025: A very friendly welcome, a very fresh octopus salad while waiting for the risotto dish which was supposed to cook for 20 minutes. Thank you for this very good meal!

25/10/2025: Very tasty, plenty, and friendly service. The only negative was that the house dog peed on one of the plants, which I found a bit disgusting.

12/10/2025: A fairly authentic Italian restaurant. Along with the tourists from the hotel, you'll also find some locals. Very good food, both pasta and pizza. One of the better spots in town.

12/11/2025: We came to this restaurant with my gf; ordered 4 oysters and the catch of the day (fish) to share to start. My gf understands a bit of Italian and she heard the waiter commenting on us behind our back that we didn't order antipasti (guess the oysters don't count?) but we were munching on the bread crockets. First, we paid 120 euro bill. Second, even if we didn't spend that much don't give customers free bread if you're gonna complain about it behind their backs. Fish was delicious. Oysters were bad. Deserts were meeh, not bad but not worth the price. On top of everything, there was a gigantic cockroach on the wall. They were nice about it tho, killed it quickly and apologized. In the end, it's overpriced for its quality and rude service. Wouldn't come here ever again not wouldn't recommend it to tourists. Edit: both of us got terrible food poisoning later at night. The fish seemed fresh, so it was probably the oysters.

31/10/2025: Excellent food, the best in Sardinia, friendly staff, very good and pleasant hosts, skilled chef, hats off! Prompt service, no one feels neglected, accessible parking spaces, close to the sea, for a pleasant walk after dinner.
