01/01/2026: The hotel billed itself as a 4-star, perhaps considering the beautiful starry sky above. The kindness of the receptionist isn't enough to make up for the shortcomings of a neglected facility. The rooms are noticeably damp, the bathrooms are old, and lack any heating (in January). The breakfast, with almost all packaged products, is inadequate for the number of guests staying (the last ones found almost nothing). What can I say? The view is excellent, but the service needs a complete overhaul.

04/11/2025: Located just a few kilometers from Alghero and its beautiful beaches, Hotel Montericciu combines rest and relaxation with sharing and fun. Its rooms, located at the foot of the mountain, exude serenity and a classic Sardinian atmosphere. What can I say about the pool? It's truly a fantastic highlight. We'll definitely be back very often.

11/01/2026: A McDonald's that lives up to the quality standards of others I've visited on the island and beyond, but with very helpful staff despite the fact that it's always very busy, which makes the job more difficult. A special mention goes to Laura, who was so kind she offered to carry one of the two trays I ordered upstairs.

24/10/2025: I'm only giving it 4 stars because the pool water was cold, but otherwise everything else was great. The staff, the rooms (be careful, the water is not drinkable; you should consider buying bottled water), and a buffet with a huge selection.

11/12/2025: Food is amazing. Stuff is lovely. I would suggest that they charge a fixed rate for delivery instead of “per item” as it doesn’t make any sense: I can order a giant pizza and pay 1€ for delivery while if I order 2 baby pizzas I pay 2€ 🤷🏼‍♀️ (1€ per item). Anyway, highly recommended (make sure you call them early to grant you fainé as it solds out quickly on weekends). 👍🏼

19/11/2025: My husband, clean-shaven, ordered pizza and pasta... when they arrived, he had three days' worth of beard. But wake up, sleepy...

28/12/2025: I don't know what some people are talking about. The place was clean, and our two kebabs were good and filling… and very reasonably priced.

18/10/2025: Very, very unfriendly. Not recommended. It's best not to watch the preparation. The kebab goes in the microwave.

26/10/2025: It's horrible. The waiter is very rude. It's a rip-off: €6 for a beer that costs less than €1 in the supermarket. They're taking advantage of tourists. I'm giving it 1 star because it won't let me give it 0.

24/10/2025: The hotel is a bit older, but very nice by Italian standards. The pool made the stay even more pleasant, and the service was excellent! The rooms were cleaned daily and spotlessly clean. A wonderful hotel with a wonderful sea view! The staff was very friendly, the food was good, although the breakfasts were a bit monotonous. The cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel may be a bit older, but it has a unique Italian atmosphere. The perfect place for a quiet getaway! 🇮🇹🌞

22/10/2025: The hotel is just like the photos, with wonderful views from the terraces. Breakfast offers something for everyone, with orange juice and delicious Italian coffee. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day! I highly recommend it!

05/01/2026: I'm a regular in the summer, and the winter opening was a very pleasant surprise! Priceless views, a rich menu with tasty and beautifully plated dishes, and prompt and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the quality and setting. It will become a regular in the winter, too!

04/01/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant! My partner and I stopped there; the view and storefront were lovely, but unfortunately, we didn't check the reviews beforehand. The welcome and smiles were practically nonexistent. We were seated at a table in a corner, with no cutlery, no glasses, no salt or pepper shakers… We waited a good hour before our order was taken. There was no smile, and once the food arrived, we had to get up and grab our own cutlery to eat. No one came to check on us during the meal to see if everything was alright, etc. The only positive point was that the food was decent. And then came the bill. When I got to the register, the waitress didn't even look at me, no hello, no goodbye. She snatched the bill from my hands, gave me the card reader, and then a receipt, all while continuing to chat with her colleague. And that was it! followed by judgmental looks from the other waiters, then a chuckle—a terribly awkward and uncomfortable moment—all that's left for me to say is that this restaurant is to be avoided at all costs.
