20/06/2025: Amazing stay! Staff were awesome had a great restaurant on site. The hotel was covered in flowers that made the entire property smell amazing!! Our room was nice we just had an issue with a shower head and the power going out on us. Also key was quite complicated but it was super cute loved the views. It’s a little away from other things but the views were out of this world
17/06/2025: Wonderful stay at Hotel Don Diego. The location is stunning, with beautiful sea views and direct access to a quiet beach. The hotel has a rare, understated charm that’s hard to find these days – elegant without being ostentatious, and genuinely welcoming.
The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The staff was courteous, helpful, and always professional. My room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Good Breakfast.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and refined escape in Sardinia.

23/08/2025: We arrived by chance, a little late, without any particular expectations.
The atmosphere was relaxed, and we all enjoyed ourselves: I had the linguine al vongole and bottarga, delicious.
The house white wine was also very good.
Very reasonable prices.
+ A very friendly blonde waitress.

16/07/2025: The place is very nice, the outside is like a courtyard, really charming and very quiet. We ate fish, but the menu also includes pizza.
10/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant several times during our stay in Porto San Paolo, and each time was a confirmation. The cuisine is truly excellent: we tried several seafood-based first courses, all exceptional, as was the fried fish, light and delicious. The portions are just right and well-balanced.
The desserts are a real treat: the reinterpretation of the classic seadas in three versions is unmissable, and the brownie is also truly excellent.
The service was impeccable: the staff was fast, attentive, and always courteous.
A wonderful experience that we absolutely recommend!

03/09/2025: If you're on vacation and looking for a nice or quaint restaurant like us, I wouldn't recommend this place.
The quality of the food is highly questionable:
Two of us ordered Zuppa Gallurese and Fregole with seafood. The soup, explained to us differently by the staff, was clearly a frozen product (not listed on the menu) and tasteless. The fregole were undeniably salty and inedible, so much so that we had to return the order to the kitchen, replacing it with Spaghetti with clams... also cooked with poor-quality ingredients.
All this was accompanied by an unpleasant sewer smell that wafted throughout the restaurant; we had to change tables three times.
Dinner was saved by the Seadas for dessert, which, in my opinion, was the only dish I enjoyed.
If you're looking for a decent dinner, I personally and wholeheartedly recommend you look elsewhere.

23/08/2025: FINALLY!!! THE TASTE OF SARDINIA!
Yesterday afternoon, driving along the main road in Sardinia, we came across a farmhouse that seemed to have been lifted from another era: simple, authentic, with that traditional aroma that exudes authentic Sardinia. A few minutes later, we were already sitting there for dinner, and what we experienced was a return to the flavors of yesteryear.
The meat, cooked to perfection, reminded us of the barbecues at village festivals, flavorful and authentic. The pizza... the best on the San Teodoro coast, without hesitation. But beyond the food, what truly struck us was the welcome: Cristina, a true lioness, and her partner run the restaurant with passion and strength.
Cristina: A host like few others, capable of making you feel at home even as a guest, and what can I say, a true Sardinian Lioness, who knows how to add joy to life.
An experience that smells of Sardinia, made of authenticity, heart, and true flavors. Everything was simply perfect. Well done to the “GRILLER” Juri! and Cristina's partner. Great guys, we'll be back!

29/07/2025: Passiamo in questo locale per pranzo o cena da ormai 3 anni, e ci siamo sempre trovati molto bene, personale sempre gentilissimo e molto accogliente, cibo ottimo, sia le pizze che la gastronomia

18/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con il mio ragazzo e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Abbiamo cenato nella terrazza con vista sulla Tavolara! L’ambiente è accogliente. Il personale è stato gentile, professionale e sempre attento, senza mai essere invadente. Cibo ottimo!

Unico neo le vespe che all'aperto ti fanno compagnia e non ti fanno apprezzare la cena. Per il resto anche il prezzo è nella media.

Dal Domus Dei Mar a Olbia abbiamo trovato questo ristorante e siamo stati serviti dal cameriere Dogan, che ci ha trattati con grande gentilezza e attenzione. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, con piatti gustosi e ben presentati, e il conto è stato onesto. Un’ottima esperienza sotto tutti i punti di vista. Dogan il cameriere è il top. Consigliatissimo!

29/06/2025: Quasi da manuale come si possa con poco rovinare un luogo incantevole: ho frequentato per anni per colazioni, caffè e aperitivi questo bar affacciato su Porto Taverna. Non sarà il fatto che il vecchio e fresco arredo bianco-mediterraneo sia stato soppiantato da uno nuovo in tinte scure, che i prezzi siano ulteriormente lievitati e la musica divenuta volgarmente assordante (de gustibus…) ma assistere a come un plotone di giovani addetti e addette impreparati (neppure un sardo fra loro) sia incapace di servire un caffè (l’ordine passato da uno all’altro ben sette volte), il barista col muso lungo che manco sa rispondere e poi - a coronamento - al momento dell’aperitivo dopo aver chiesto se fosse possibile abbassare la musica, nessuno ha avuto la cortesia di un cenno, anzi per tutta risposta il volume è diventato ancora più alto, è qualcosa di davvero sconsolante. Peccato!
