14/06/2025: Excellent restaurant with delicious traditional Carloforte dishes. Every time I return to Carloforte it is an unmissable stop, constant quality and authentic flavors!

19/06/2025: The waiter was really friendly and helpful. He offered to make the pizza and spaghetti glutenfree, even though it wasn't on the menu. (He warned me that there could be contamination though. Only for me that's ok). I had a Quattro Stagioni and it tasted really good.

17/06/2025: Super delicious pizzas with exceptional toppings. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They even gave us travel tips. Highly recommended.

05/06/2025: Sono stato lì più volte negli ultimi giorni, mi chiedo come si possa gestire un locale con rivendita pane in un modo così assurdo. Una persona deve fare tutto, prendere gli ordini non solo dentro al locale ma anche fuori ai tavoli, seguire la vendita pane, preparare le comande, servire ai tavoli , fare gli scontrini, assurdo , molta gente se ne va spazientita, il ragazzo ( ragazza a volte) è sempre in evidente difficoltà e lo lascia trasparire inevitabilmente. Gestione assurda, 2pallini solo per la qualità dei prodotti per il resto tutto da cambiare.

31/05/2025: Very, very limited, we were very disappointed... We had asked to eat outside... apparently impossible... even though all the tables were empty and close to the kitchen (no effort)... Extremely long wait for only a steak and a salad with no dressing... Pasta with clams had no taste, the clams still tasted of salt... The food left something to be desired... no mustard for the meat... Too expensive for what it was...

20/05/2025: Oggi pranzo di passaggio in famiglia a Carbonia. Premetto che viste le moltissime recensioni da 5/5 le aspettative erano molto alte. Locale non grande ma molto bello e davvero carino. Personale accogliente e gentile ( non avevamo prenotato). Prendiamo in attesa dei piatti principali un ( 1 solo di numero) antipasto, su consiglio della presumo proprietaria, orziadas fritte: quantità limitata ma veramente buonissime. Prendiamo due misti fritti di pesce e due fritti di calamari. Qualità molto buona i misti di pesce mentre i calamari un po' gommosi e duretti ( forse sono rimasti un po' indietro di cottura)( può essere una impressione personale ma essendo un piatto tra i miei preferiti ne ho mangiati tanti in più posti diversi). Quantità appena sufficiente. Prendiamo 4 porzioni di patate fritte portate in unico vassoio e pagate a parte come specificato dal menù 16 euro( 4x4 euro). Quantità appena sufficiente per 4. Due acque una birra e 3 caffè. Conto 119 euro. Nel complesso considerando i piatti di pesce il prezzo è giusto e molto buona la qualità complessiva. Merita 4/5. I consigli costruttivi per meritare davvero 5/5: migliorare la quantità dei secondi piatti e contorni: porzioni lievemente più abbondanti ( e attenzione alla cottura dei calamari).

18/05/2025: Vado spesso a mangiare al ristorante La Lanterna! Il locale è molto accogliente, il personale sempre gentile e professionale che oltre al menù tradizionale sardo ti sa coccolare con i piatti del giorno unici e speciali preparati con tanta cura e attenzione dei dettagli. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, prodotti sempre freschi e deliziosi. Vi consiglio di provare la carbonara di mare!

12/06/2025: When I go on holiday to Portixeddu I eat pizza at least once in this place. For the first time I wanted to try something else. The octopus salad and the beef fillet were excellent. The house red wine was exquisite and served at the perfect temperature. Unfortunately the cuttlefish had some problems but we were in a hurry and didn't point it out. The owner practically offered them to us anyway, which is absolutely not a given. I will return as always next year!

30/06/2025: Locanda Sa Matracca is a guarantee of goodness regarding pizzas! I hadn't been there for years, I also tried the Cagliari location and this one, in my humble opinion, is slightly better. All pizzas are very good and inviting. Quality-price ratio is unquestionable. Very friendly staff. Both locations do not have the sign in plain sight, you have to pay attention. Reservations recommended. Congratulations, keep it up :)

29/06/2025: Beautiful experience in this cosy restaurant located off the main touristic areas. The establishment offers a small menu featuring traditional food with a choice of starters, pasta dishes, fresh seafood dishes and some meat options as well. We were a party of 6 and shared mixed seafood starters, a selection of two pasta dishes and some grilled fishes as second course. The food was cooked to perfection and we possibly had the best sea bass we'd ever eaten, the pasta was stirred-in (mantecata) very well and the portions proper. Staff was attentive and keen to explain the menu when asked about it. Friendly yet professional service. Highly recommended and definitely worthy of future visits!

29/06/2025: Good seafood choice, cooked in several traditional fashions, and typical local dishes. The first courses (pasta based) are medium quality, while the seafood based second courses are good. Nice people, although not always very professional: the waiter was distracted and forgot the orders he took himself. It's also a pity for the location, which is pretty anonymous, while in such a pretty seaside town as Calasetta It could be far nicer. Not cheap (anymore).

26/05/2025: on the road and overlooking the port this restaurant offers pizzas and seafood dishes with excellent quality... our day was unlucky because there was a school group on a trip and the service was a bit longer, but we ate seared tuna and fried seafood that were truly excellent and plentiful with 1 beer and 1 bottle of water... Bill 63 euros... perhaps a little above the standard but balanced for the portions offered... I recommend

26/05/2025: Excellent restaurant on the Carloforte seafront. Beautiful location, excellent food as well as a variety of wines to choose from. We went twice and always ate different things and drank 2 different Sardinian Vermentino d.o.c. wines. Everything was excellent. Very kind and professional service. We highly recommend it.
