14/11/2024: Piccola bottega alimentare che propone una cucina ricercata e creativa. Ottimi il tagliere di formaggi, l'agnello e il baccalà. Deludenti i dolci. Ottima carta dei vini. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Prezzi elevati ma in linea con la qualità. Da provare!

30/11/2024: We had lunch with the family and they offered us the fixed Sunday menu. They brought us hot and cold appetizers, two samples of first courses, a mixed grill with a side of potatoes and salad, fruit, bitters and coffee and I tell you that it was all really good, furthermore the dining room staff was definitely up to the task, kind, friendly and thoughtful, but the biggest surprise was when paying the bill. Only €27 per person. Incredible, I will definitely return but not so much for the honest price but for the goodness of the dishes. P.S. a piece of advice: book. Well done, good, good.

30/08/2024: Still here for dinner with my husband, it's our farewell to this wonderful holiday and I can say that there couldn't have been a better way. Restaurant recommended by the gentlemen who gave us the apartment, and I must say that we are about to leave satisfied. The owner, a polite and very competent person, guided us in his choice of food and wine, we have just now also had the pleasure of meeting the cook and being able to pay her our compliments. Good, fresh flavours, ranging from land menu to sea menu and everything really good (even the wine). Had dinner outside, cool evening, then now that it's just us left, we can hear some pleasant background music! Beautiful evening and recommended place

28/08/2024: Slow Food that becomes religion, obsession, passion, excellence. A job truly well done both in the kitchen and in the dining room in a place that you will fall in love with and feel the need to return. Excellent raw materials, almost all local, processed with respect and great professionalism, create flavors and dishes that are apparently simple but have a unique taste that will take you back in time to the scents of your grandmother's cooking. Congratulations to all the staff.

03/08/2024: Thanks to some friends of ours, we had dinner this evening outdoors in the heart of the historic center of Grottaglie, the Apulian city of ceramics. The grape festival was underway and so we had the splendid background of the sweet Salento pizzica music. Two charms this evening to be praised: the first-rate cuisine and the well-known managers. The bottom of our hearts, appreciated their humanity. At the same time, the stars of goodness that lit up with each dish, among other things the fruit of the genius of their wonderful cuisine. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2024: Recommended by the owners of the B&B we booked this place in the historic center of Grottaglie. I took a mixed roast, an Angus entrecote, baked potatoes, broad beans and chicory. All accompanied by an important red wine, Primitivo of 2022. The mixed roast, cooked in a wood fire, is a taste of their meats. The rare entrecote, cooked to perfection, with a balanced flavor that melts in your mouth. All family-run, kind and professional. An experience to repeat

29/07/2024: The quality of the products is in harmony with the courtesy and professionalism of the service. The spaces seem to suffer due to the amount of people who frequent a bar, the Zelig, which has been much more than a bar for some time now.

17/08/2024: Notice 1 the portions are decidedly generous: adjust! Warning 2, if possible, sit facing the wall so as not to see what is being served at the other tables: it's all very inviting and you might have second thoughts. Notice 3 don't be surprised to still find a place where the food is loved, the customer is treated very well and above all they still change the cutlery and bring it to you on a tray, covered with a napkin for obvious hygienic reasons.... Do I need to tell you how good everything is? The price is obviously the one due!

16/08/2024: We went for dinner this evening, in the summer there are only tables outside. We took the triptych of meatballs (a portion for two, definitely abundant as you can see in the photo for an appetizer). Then orecchiette in tiesto (in paper) and orecchiette with cherry tomatoes and burrata (dish of the day). We concluded with two almond sorbets. All very good, the only small flaw was the meatballs in sauce which were not hot but only lukewarm, but still very good. With two bottles of water and a total cover charge of €55, more than fair given the enormous quantity of food and the location very close to the square. I recommend booking as a few customers were sent away as everything was full.

23/11/2024: Abbiamo atteso 1 ora per entrare, gli orari non vengono rispettati per niente... Per di più i pomodori erano acidi ... Grande delusione...

02/10/2024: Bel locale, accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile, buona scelta delle pizze e frittura varie.....buono anche la quasi variante degli impasti, quando ci sono stato io avevano disponibile solo 2 impasti senatore cappello e non tutti quelli elencati nel menù. Comunque pizza buona, credevo meglio visto i tanti attestati affissi nel locale, ma ....un grande ma, dicono che i fritti siano la specialità......ho passato una notte orrenda proprio per aver assaggiato 5/patatine... Comunque grazie.

16/08/2024: I have been frequenting this wine shop for a few months now both to buy bulk wines and specifically the Lizzano rosé which is excellent in my opinion and also bottles of wines and prosecco following the excellent advice of the very kind owner who, based on the type of dishes to be cooked, gives me He always directed me very well, always making me look good.
