02/11/2025: I'm a longtime customer. I saw this place open when it was just a tiny room, menus were 5 euros, and there were barely any seats. However, I can't help but be nostalgic and a little disappointed to see how it is now. I'm happy and proud of how they've grown over the years, and I recommend them to all my friends, even now that I no longer live in Maglie. The only problem is that the quality-price ratio isn't as good as it once was. I understand that prices are rising, but the piadina I ordered had very little kebab... and even the fries aren't the same portions as before. They used to have plenty of everything: kebab, sauces, fries, condiments, now they're just the bare minimum. Overall, the quantity of everything has gone down, and the prices have gone up. That welcoming homey feel has also been lost. Even the servers no longer smile or joke with the customers like they used to; they always seem stressed and pissed off. I miss that more human and intimate connection. In short, the place has become too bourgeois and commercialized for my tastes... despite that, I'm still loyal and I think it's one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten.
Oh, ps. I'm sure the fries and nuggets are from Eurospin because I've seen the bags, so especially since they cost less than average, you could go a bit more generous.
pps. I recommend the potato rosti, they're delicious.

05/01/2026: First time at this venue, a reservation for an evening with live music and a bit of performance anxiety since I brought friends. The atmosphere was welcoming and well-kept, and I was immediately welcomed with a table right where I'd requested, near the stage, and excellent seating. The first thing I tried was a beer, cold and pleasantly flavorful. We opted for the meat main course, and I found a cutlet just like my mom used to make it—really good, tender, and plentiful. Attentive service despite the venue being full, and the pork chop was also excellent.
The music was spectacular, but it's a band I know and I'm playing it safe. The acoustics were good, and the experience was excellent. Definitely worth repeating.
19/12/2025: Classic pub atmosphere with well-maintained, modern furnishings. The guy who took our orders was excellent! Very knowledgeable, friendly but not intrusive. Good and well-prepared food. The beer selection isn't extensive, but it's quality. A great place to be!

Highly recommended.
We were hungry after a day at the beach, so we each ordered a plate—several veal cutlets, pasta dishes, etc., with lots of fries in the center—for 15 euros each.
We were also pleased with the more than generous portions.
17/08/2025: Very good and well-prepared food. The service is a little slow, but it's worth it.

The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, ready to offer advice with passion and expertise.
The real highlight, however, is the cuisine. Each dish was balanced, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor, with quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. You can sense great attention to detail and a true pursuit of flavor.
I left the restaurant truly enthusiastic, positively surprised by everything: the ambiance, the service, and
the food. Belami is definitely a place to return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine, clean, and no-frills dining experience.

15/01/2026: We return often, both in winter and summer, and as always, everything is impeccable: service, food, courtesy, and location...when passion translates into success, it's never a coincidence and should always be rewarded. Highly recommended. I recommend booking in advance; in winter, you often have to wait a few minutes to be seated without a reservation; the wait is well compensated. Prices are normal for a place where you can eat well.

21/08/2025: Holiday, breakfast in what seems like a normal bar in Maglie... instead it turns out to be the most beautiful morning of all the holidays, welcoming, attentive and above all smiling they welcome you... not (it would be obvious at 8.30 in the morning) blown Lecce coffee guys (in the whole holiday only once had they bothered to make it in another bar)... pastries... cake... pasta and the smell of bread, they are baking as if they were a bakery... what can I say, the day couldn't have started better... thanks guys, your passion is seen and felt. If you are in the area, stop by, it's not just any bar 💋❤️
