28/08/2024: Parmigiana di melanzana di mare, molto particolare assolutamente consigliata per provare. Frittura di paranza, nel complesso buona, la differenza sostanziale la fa ovviamente la disponibilità del pescato. Vino al calice molto buono e bottiglia aperta appositamente. Piatto con pescatrice riaddattato alle mie esigenze da vegetariana senza alcun problema.

28/08/2024: Seafood aubergine parmigiana, very special and absolutely recommended to try. Fried paranza, good overall, the substantial difference is obviously made by the availability of the catch. Very good wine by the glass and bottle opened specifically. Dish with monkfish adapted to my needs as a vegetarian without any problem.

28/08/2024: Very positive experience, a fixed stop that I do every year on holiday in Puglia. Friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Suggestive and very pleasant location Quality of food very in line with the prices. Warmly recommended.

05/09/2023: This is a very small local gem. If you are lucky enough to visit Castro, make sure to stop by and enjoy the fantastic home cooked food. We tried the parmigiana (the real one, without the Mozzarella but with Parmesan) and it was the most delicious one we ever had. The owners are lovely and create this amazing, typical food at incredible prices. Make sure to try the Parmigiana, the Lasagne or the Polpette al Pomodoro. There are vegetarian and vegan choices. We will be back for sure! Be aware that the shop is open from April to mid-September. Linda and Fabio

04/10/2024: I have no words to describe how fabulous the experience was at this restaurant. I went there with my boyfriend and we ate divinely, combinations of particular and winning flavors without being banal, very fresh fish. Each dish was a journey to discover new flavours. The friendly staff treated us with great care, giving us multiple attentions that made the difference. It is located in a point where there is not much crowding which for me is a positive note, however with a walk it is easy to reach the beautiful sea of ​​Castro or the castle. Truly super recommended!

18/10/2024: Bar pasticceria ottima! Pasticciotti e fruttoni buonissimi e a prezzi ottimi, come è ottimo il caffè... CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

18/10/2024: Abbiamo preso un ottimo caffè Quarta (il caffè del Salento per eccellenza!), poi dei dolci tipici da riportare a casa: pasticciotti strepitosi, davvero ottimi, tra i migliori in zona! Ed un fruttone (dolce tipico, super tipico del Salento. Il frutto è assolutamente da provare, davvero OTTIMO!! Mi ha stupito, perché fatto con una "marmellata" di canditi, che a me non piacciono, in genere.. Beh, se non amate i canditi, come me, dovete provare il fruttone che fanno qui, perché cambierete idea! Prezzi onesti, nella media.

29/11/2024: Review for the restaurant 1 star only for the view Last Sunday I had guests for lunch and I wanted to spend a couple of quiet hours where I could chat together with quality food So I called to ask if a table for 4 people was available for lunch and I booked Lovely place with wonderful views This is the only positive note of the lunch. Waiters not up to par with how the restaurant is positioned Modest raw fish starter, seafood composed almost exclusively of mussels and little else A first course with salted and cold fish A frozen lemon sorbet that needed a hammer and chisel to taste But the worst thing of the whole lunch was a party organized in the next room with music, songs and more at a disco-worthy volume so loud as to make any conversation impossible, so much so that we had to communicate with each other only by signs. We reported the problem to the waiters, kindly asking them to lower the volume of the noise a little and to close the communication doors with the next room, but in vain. The waiters returned disconsolately without the noise of the village celebration diminishing by a single decibel. At that point we turned to the owners/managers of the restaurant more than once, but we were told that the party had to continue and that we had to adapt. In the end we left disappointed and dazed, but not before paying a 5-star bill for a lunch that wasn't even worth one.

26/11/2024: Siamo arrivati in questa location per caso, dopo una passeggiata a Castro Marina, incuriositi da un altro locale molto vicino a questo. Colpiti e affascinati subito dagli interni, dalla vista sul mare e sul paesino, dall'eleganza del personale in sala, abbiamo deciso di fermarci e pranzare in loco. Devo dire che, nonostante un bel po' di gente (compresi anche un paio di eventi), la nostra scelta si è rivelata molto acuta. Prodotti di ottima qualità, servizio veloce, professionalità e cordialità. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimale.

23/08/2024: Il locale è molto carino con una bella filosofia di sostenibilità e tradizioni locali per la cucina I primi piatti e la pizza sono stati davvero ottimi come il vino consigliato dal personale, molto particolare Pesce freschissimo pescato del giorno
