A very pleasant bar where life is good! 🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵 It was very good and we received excellent service!

…during my trek!!…on the “Cammino del Salento” route!!…I stopped for a short break here!!…in this place which is located right in the main square of the historic center!!…near the Aragonese Castle!!…it's the “Fonte dei Messapi” bar!!…that's why I'm in Castro!!…here you can also find something to eat quickly!!…and the Salento Puccia!!…but also artisanal ice cream!!…seating is also available outside!!…I had a coffee!!…and then I had the official stamp of my Cammino del Salento passport!!…what can I say!!…a good point of reference!!…it's the “Fonte dei Messapi” bar!!…here in Castro!!…☕️🎉👌⬆️🎊🍦‼️

Lovely afternoon. Very friendly snack and drinks amazing.

Excellent coffee. We had a nice cappuccino and an equally nice caffe leccese. And two ice creams for the kids. All this for only 9 euros. Right on the square. Impeccable service. If you find yourself in the Castle, stop by this small and wonderful cafe.

Located in a beautiful piazza overlooking the sea, we ordered an antipasti platter, a puccia, and a toasted sandwich. Everything was delicious. There's a wide variety of options for an aperitif. Friendly staff.
