Agriturismo Osteria Pane e vino

19/06/2025: This is one of those agriturismo places which, if I understand it correctly, is a farm that has its own restaurant so that you can experience farm to plate food. These tend to be stuck out in the countryside, as this one is, a few miles outside Peschici. The location is lovely, as was the experience dining amongst the olive groves. Unfortunately, the food and wine experience did not match. The food we received was OK but nothing special and we certainly experienced much better Orecchiette pasta on this trip round Puglia. And as for the wine well…….
Now I have to say we visited here as part of a tour group with a UK travel company, so perhaps we were given the cheap stuff, but frankly it was closer to non alcoholic fruit juice that the excellent red wines this region produces.
However, on this particular lunchtime it was full of locals (including the local Carbonari) with people queuing to get in.
Sadly though not for me. I would not choose to come here under my own steam.

Ristorante Della Locanda Al Castello

21/11/2025: On a Sunday in November, passing through Peschici, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The location has a touch of '80s flair, with a beautiful little balcony overlooking the entire village. We ordered a first course, which was good but a bit too oily, and a well-prepared sea bass.
The bill was fair and the service was prompt.
10/09/2025: The service was a bit arrogant and ambiguous, from the waiter's rude irony when asked for directions to the stairs: "They're right there, it seems pretty obvious..." (... never mind, we were happy to joke about it, but in any case, you never know how the person in front of you will take it, and this therefore denotes unprofessional service), to the advice of the waitress who recommended the orecchiette instead of the spaghetti with clams on the menu, calling it "a garlic and oil pasta with clams and nothing more"... (very strange to speak badly of a dish on the menu that you yourself propose... Perhaps the real purpose was to guide us towards choices that would be more convenient for the kitchen staff at that moment? Moral of the story: I feel like I'm being mocked.) For the rest, aside from the high amount of oil in the troccoli allo scoglio, the food was good and the pasta was homemade to perfection. The location is exceptional, of course, which perhaps inflates the prices a bit, although they are in line with other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, however, for the reasons listed above, it is not a place I would recommend or return to.

16/09/2025: Terrible. Terrible food. A pizza, a paposcia, and a bottle of mineral water for the price of a fish dinner. The bathroom was as disgusting as the food.
Recommended only to NAS and the Guardia di Finanza, with the hope that they shut down this shameful place as soon as possible.

18/07/2025: Un locale come diciamo noi “molto alla buona”, camerieri simpatici, il ragazzo giovane oltre ad esser bello 😝 molto simpatico e gentile .
Le porzioni sono abbondanti, ma si deve curare molto meglio il gusto del pesce
Pasta fresca, le Orecchiette, fatte dalla signora: pasta molto buona , ma il
Condimento deve esser più curato e amalgamare di più.
Una bella terrazza esterna con vista mare a 2 passi dallo splendido centro di Peschici
13/07/2025: Wir sind durch die Chefin aufmerksam geworden, weil die Dame Orchiette vorm Lokal zubereitete. Also gingen wir zum Essen auf die Terrasse mit Aussicht. Vorspeisen und die Orchiette mit Meeresfrüchten 2aren ein Genuss, wor kommen wieder.

09/08/2025: Al Lido Onda Azzurra di Peschici (Baia di Manaccora) ho gustato un bel pesce alla griglia: carne tenera, sapore autentico e cottura perfetta — un piatto semplice ma memorabile. 
L’ambiente è rilassato, a due passi dalla spiaggia, il personale gentile e il servizio rapido; le porzioni sono generose e il rapporto qualità–prezzo è onesto, proprio come segnalano le recensioni locali.  
Se cerchi una cena di mare senza fronzoli ma curata, con vista sulla Baia e un ottimo pesce alla griglia, te lo consiglio vivamente.
Gino e Nicola due persone speciali ❤️.
05/08/2025: Esperienza sempre piacevole. Titolare e personale gentilissimi, cibo freschissimo, soprattutto ottimo. Il carpaccio e la tartare di Tonno sublimi, ma anche i primi e i secondi sempre buonissimi.

18/07/2025: Indecisi dalle recensioni negative che abbiamo letto abbiamo provato e, tralasciando che il posto è incantevole, siamo stati accolti da una quantità industriale di camerieri/e tutti molto gentilissimi!
Il servizio è stato molto veloce e puntuale!

In linea con tutti i ristoranti di Peschici....(Non per niente economici) si mangia benissimo e i piatti sono abbondanti devo dire che le recensioni negative che ho letto sono tutte un poco veritiere!

25/07/2025: My partner and I were looking for a place to escape, even just for a weekend, to unplug from the daily grind, and we couldn't have made a better choice.
A property with a sea view, surrounded by greenery, peace, and the sound of cicadas!
There are probably other properties with these characteristics in the area, but the real difference is the people. The owners are the added value. You feel like you're staying with a big family, not a hotel.

We always return to places where we've had a good time, and we'll be back as soon as possible.

04/09/2024: Ottima la Paposcia ed il servizio, accogliente e cordiale. L'ambiente è semplice con i tavolini all'esterno che sono comodi e disposti nel modo migliore per gustare con comodità quanto ordinato. Il locale bisogna cercarlo, non essendo in buona vista, ma ne vale sicuramente la pena. Consigliato
03/09/2024: Dopo aver visto le numerose recensioni positive abbiamo voluto provare anche noi questo locale e non possiamo far altro che confermare quanto di positivo e’ stato riportato. Paposcia eccezionale, materia prima eccellente, servizio rapido e molto cortese. Che dire, ci ritornerò sicuramente perché è l’unico posto dove ho mangiato la vera papiscia. Complimenti.

09/09/2024: Panini molto buoni e prezzi nella media… hanno un ottimo assortimento di gusti e vari menù bambini…noi abbiamo preso 2 shrimp, un menu nuggets e panino salsiccia e funghi( non ricordo il nome)… erano enormi i panini e con il giusto condimento

18/04/2025: Il Pastorello è una garanzia sempre. Lo conosciamo da tantissimi anni e ogni volta che da Varese andiamo da nostro figlio e la sua compagna a Pescara ci andiamo per un pranzo anche se sono 2,5h di viaggio. I gestori sono alla mano, disponibili, gentilissimi e il cibo..... Che dire genuino e buonissimo. E la vista meravigliosa su Peschici. Lo consigliamo. Chiara Gianni Luca Federica.
