05/01/2026: From one step to the next, let the music slowly become clearer and clearer. Welcome to the Borgo Antico Bistrot. A charming place located along the perimeter walls of Ostuni's old town. The Instagrammable view, typical Apulian dishes, and a variety of cocktails are its strong points.
04/01/2026: We stopped at this bar after seeing the reviews and it seemed excellent, we had an aperitif and two cocktails, the cocktails were good but the aperitif... a disaster, very hard taralli and crostini, sour ricotta and very hard broad bean puree, not to mention the focaccia which was definitely from yesterday if it wasn't from 2 days ago (that too was hard), only the cured meats were good (1 slice of 4 different cured meats per person) so if you want to stop for a drink, yes but I don't recommend the aperitif.

23/12/2025: Very good food, but do NOT bring children. They are not welcome and we felt very stressed from the moment of walking in and the waiter’s disdain. I took my kids outside while we waited for the first course and he scorned me for the ‘food getting cold’ when we returned only minutes later. The waiter insisted he said it wasn’t a place for children on the phone, which was not clear for us. Great atmosphere and food for an adult only meal.
02/12/2025: We chose the regional menu and were absolutely delighted. The presentation, ambiance, value for money of our lunch, and ultimately the delicious meal were the highlight of our visit to Ostuni. Bravo!

02/02/2026: I went for dinner last Saturday. I'd never been to this place before, and I was amazed. The dishes had a unique, delicate, and fresh flavor. The lady who served us was incredibly kind, explaining the various courses and recommending the right wine! It was a wonderful surprise. I'll be back as soon as possible.

29/12/2025: We found it by chance because we were in the industrial area of Ostuni, and now we only go there. A small, good pastry shop with reasonable prices. The birthday cakes and artisanal panettone are excellent. 100% recommended.

15/02/2026: Nice place, much below expectations, well-kept but poorly lit, we took a plate of French fries, second-rate ketchup and mayonnaise, a spray bottle to sanitize the tables placed on the container where they place the salt and pepper, at the end the bill was too salty, much above expectations, 3 pizzas, 3 medium beers and 2 small beers on tap, 1 chip, 2 grappas (18.00), 4 covers (12.00), so 100.00 is too much in my opinion.

18/01/2026: Unfortunately, this is an experience I won't repeat. The exterior is neglected and untidy.
We had lunch with the €50 Sunday fixed menu, "excluding drinks" and "excluding water." The waiters were friendly, but the culinary experience was mediocre. The quality of the products isn't in doubt, but the type: focaccia, vegetable calzone, fairly basic food, and the price is outrageous for what you get.
Another observation: a bottle of local wine costs €30. The icing on the cake is having to pay €3 for a coffee at the end of the meal, because that's obviously not on the menu. I'm sorry, but there are much better options in the area.

02/01/2026: Went for the tour. The History and beauty of this place is primo. I am better in my life for seeing and being there. The extra virgin olive oil is top 5 i have ever tasted. Go and enjoy.

18/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, equivalent to a two-star establishment in France in my opinion, at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the ingredients. Everything was delicious and prepared with care. Note that there are only a few tables available.
18/02/2026: Off-season (February), the welcome was very friendly, the service quick and efficient, the food excellent (pork knuckle, cuttlefish, lamb, or spaghetti—all perfect), the menu concise with a limited selection of dishes, which is a guarantee of quality, very few tables, and an old-fashioned decor under a stone vaulted ceiling—we were delighted. And to top it all off, a very well-stocked whisky cellar!
