25/08/2025: For us, it remains our favorite place. A large counter with a wide selection of very fresh meat that you can choose on the spot and it's cooked right away. The interior is spacious and bright, while the outside is a bit cramped, but pleasant. Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff.

21/08/2025: The meat is amazing and at a great price! From this perspective, La Locanda del Macellaio is highly recommended. However, I must point out two major problems (which could be largely resolved with the owners' goodwill). Hygiene. The raw meat (which customers select at the counter before being assigned a table) is handled with bare hands by a person who alternates serving at the counter with every other activity. He touches people, objects, chairs, his own clothes, his own nose, and finally the meat. A whole different level of hygiene is required, and it wouldn't take much. Second problem: ventilation. The interior is not ventilated at all, and evidently the grill hood doesn't extract air properly. The result: the room was slightly foggy and had a constant smell of smoke. I reiterate the positive aspects for which, overall, I would recommend La Locanda: quality and price!

06/07/2025: After work, my partner and I decided to go for dinner, something light but at the same time good. On a summer evening, outside on the steps.. The two waitresses were really good, meticulous. Kind and friendly owner. Quiet and hospitable environment. Excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended.

06/07/2025: Top atmosphere. Great selection of beers, generous and tasty sandwiches, friendly and always on-point staff. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends. Definitely worth returning to.

08/07/2025: Good food and generous portions. We tried the pizza, the grilled meat, and the excellent orecchiette with tomato sauce: simple, authentic, and flavorful. The restaurant is very popular with both tourists and locals, but despite its large seating capacity, the service was quick and efficient. The location is strategic, equidistant between Martina Franca, Cisternino, and Ostuni, ideal for a stop during a day of hiking in the Itria Valley. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but it offers honest, well-prepared, home-style cooking. The only minor detail—which I don't consider a real flaw—the grilled vegetables were a bit too raw for my taste. But that's a personal preference, not a criticism. Recommended, and I would gladly return.

26/04/2025: After a long journey from Milan to Ostuni, I was looking for a pastry bar to have breakfast, and I noticed this bar, and I took the opportunity to have breakfast! Unique experience of tasting the best croissants on the planet! I have never tasted such good croissants, in addition to the friendliness and kindness of the bar owner, Simona! Compliments!!!

22/04/2025: Reviewing this pastry shop is an obligation, because I have never tasted such good brioches! As they say, seeing is believing? It's not for advertising, but it's worth it....then you'll tell me if it's true! Congratulations to the pastry chefs! Simona and Tony are number one!

30/08/2025: Equipped free beach, the place is well organized, the shaded area is nice with tables available both for those who bring their own and for those who consume on site, even the area with children's games is small but nice unfortunately on the beach it is too crowded, it does not help the erosion that surely takes away cm of beach, owner and staff helpful and smiling, my daughter thought she had lost her phone the owner had her call with hers to see if it was there, I appreciated it, not by everyone

29/08/2025: An incredible body of water, with affordable prices I hadn't seen in a while, having become accustomed to the excessively high prices in lower Salento or northern Bari. Their strong point is definitely their friendliness, which is very rare these days. Unfortunately, I had a minor accident in the water that left me unable to walk, and the entire staff promptly went out of their way to help me and my partner with whatever was needed. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back, just to say thank you!

09/08/2025: The pizza was very good, especially the very light dough. The first and second courses were not exceptional. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, but very attentive. Excellent service.

08/08/2025: We've dined at this restaurant several times, always with satisfaction, but tonight we were the subject of a truly unpleasant experience. We arrived promptly at 8:30 PM, the time of our reservation, took our seats at our table of four (two adults and two children) and quickly chose our order. The area around us was almost empty at first, but in the following minutes several other groups arrived, and they were all served before us. The common thread: they were friends of the owner and/or "high-spending," as it's now fashionable to say. In one instance, we pointed out to the owner that we'd arrived before those he'd ordered from, but he denied it, claiming they had arrived first. The only table sharing our experience was, coincidentally, composed of only three people. After half an hour of waiting and futile reminders, we decided to get up and leave, explaining our reason to the waiter who had just appeared. The owner, after overhearing our conversation, told us as we were leaving, "This isn't a place for you." I won't add anything else.

10/08/2025: We stayed at the masseria for a week, and thanks to the kindness and friendliness of the staff, we immediately felt at home. The masseria is meticulously maintained, nestled among ancient olive trees. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to dine in complete relaxation, enjoying traditional dishes prepared with genuine, locally sourced ingredients. The olive grove tour experience is also highly recommended.

09/08/2025: A fun and informative tour walking amongst 1,000-year-old olive trees, with plenty of insights into the wild plants of the area — from prunes and figs to cacti. We visited both ancient and modern olive mills, learning about the traditions and techniques behind production. It finished with a delicious tasting and a clear explanation of the difference between true extra virgin olive oil and supermarket imitations, as well as the emerging disease threatening not only the craft, but also the beautiful trees themselves and their millennia-old heritage. Overall, a great way to spend two hours — and a good opportunity to purchase quality oil at very fair prices.

09/06/2025: Best vacation ever, the amazing trulli felt like a farytail. The people there are an amazing family and they made us feel apart of that family. The food was extraordinary. Superb experience.

18/05/2025: We felt very at home at this lovely farm and with Patricia and her family. The accommodation, a renovated traditional Trulli -house, was super nice and we had everything we needed. Especially having a kitchen was perfect for traveling with a baby. The dinner at the farm was very delicious. Also, we enjoyed the animals that live on the farm. Even a donkey lives there. Our 7-month-old baby liked the three very friendly dogs. I enjoyed swimming in the pool that is in a quiet area of the farm. The nature around the farm also is just beautiful (e.g. it is very nice to walk along the Aquedotto) and there are beautiful small towns near by, also some to see more traditional Trulli-houses, e.g. Alberobello. We can absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again for everything - we hope to be back one day :) Otis + family

25/08/2025: Amazing experience, the best meal we have had in Italy so far! The service was of a high standard, was modern yet authentic and interesting. The couple who own the establishment clearly love what they do! The passion shows. And then to top it off, the location…the view is first class. P.s. I recommend the fish tasting plate!

24/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant overlooking Ostuni. Unfortunately, we hadn't booked, so there were no seats on the terrace. The lady at the restaurant did everything she could to accommodate us. The restaurant is beautiful inside, too. We had a pleasant, relaxing dinner, and everything was truly delicious!

26/08/2025: The place is charming. I'm reviewing the restaurant as an exclusively vegetarian restaurant. The dishes are beautiful to look at and carefully presented, but not exceptional. The prices are higher than average, considering they don't serve meat or fish.

21/08/2025: Everything about this experience was amazing. This is the best and most beautiful Masseria in Puglia - it’s chic, modern, 5 star service & beautiful surrounds. I will never get over how gorgeous this place is. We loved our stay including the pool, lush grounds, beautiful breakfast buffet and vegetarian Puglian tasting menu we did for dinner. Please dine in their restaurant it’s amazing - loved this huge balcony we got. Ask for room 31. The insanely big balcony gave us beautiful sunset views of the pool and olive trees.

12/08/2025: We had pizza. Delicious! The one with mortadella, mozzarella, and pear. Very tasty, I recommend it. We had a Bellini, which we'd been looking for for days. For dessert, we had cannoli! The service was super good. We stayed inside because it was very hot, and the atmosphere was super cool and pleasant.

12/08/2025: Very bad service. More than 40 minutes delay between first and second. Zero apologies.
