08/07/2025: Good food and generous portions. We tried the pizza, the grilled meat, and the excellent orecchiette with tomato sauce: simple, authentic, and flavorful.
The restaurant is very popular with both tourists and locals, but despite its large seating capacity, the service was quick and efficient.
The location is strategic, equidistant between Martina Franca, Cisternino, and Ostuni, ideal for a stop during a day of hiking in the Itria Valley.
It's not a gourmet restaurant, but it offers honest, well-prepared, home-style cooking.
The only minor detail—which I don't consider a real flaw—the grilled vegetables were a bit too raw for my taste. But that's a personal preference, not a criticism.
Recommended, and I would gladly return.

26/10/2025: This family operated restaurant was a real find for us for our last night in Ostuni.
The appetizer along with very hot bread was amazing. Our Pasta Dishes came out hot and tasty. The bottle of red vinegar was a stand out and the local lemon cello finished off a perfect evening! The price for dinner was less than many less memorable meals we’ve had.
Give this place a try and enjoy!

12/10/2025: Fab find, superb views, staff super friendly and efficient, had the cheese and ham charcuterie which was fabulous. A bit of a chill wind was fixed by the blanket the waiter kindly provided!

Sooo creamy 🤤🤍
And it's the _only_ place in Villanova that serves FuzeTea (❤️) instead of EstaTea (😣).

23/11/2025: Very disappointing place. The waiter seemed to be in hurry all the time and his behaviour was condescending. The meal with cod smelled like an old fish and something burned. Water (payed) was served without any question. Portions were very small. Nothing in common with good Italian cuisine.
04/11/2025: Awarded the Bib Gourmand 2025, Osteria Piazzetta Cattedrale is a beautiful restaurant nestled in the heart of Ostuni's historic center. The setting is charming and the service attentive.
The meat dishes are particularly successful: the lamb chops are tender and full of flavor, while the perfectly grilled veal tomahawk steak rivals the finest restaurants.
However, the pasta dishes—especially the lobster gnocchi and the risotto with oyster sauce—don't quite reach the same heights. Every restaurant has its strengths: here, I would definitely focus on the meat dishes.

18/09/2025: We were a party of 9 … a lot of people.. and we were lucky to find this restaurant, service was very fast and Margarita (waitress) was the best!!
We tried different drinks, Sprits like Aperol, Hugo and Campari. we tried with pasta orichietti, good enough, and a couple of sandwiches, one with octopus and another with egg plant, really good!!!
Place is just nexts to great views of the city
